Also offered to pick me up to pick up my car but it wasn't needed. I like how straight forward the website is with the pricing and different packages. Dropped off my car at 9 am picked up 7:30 pm. Luckily I know to not make any plans when I get my car detailed since it takes a long time to dry. I would definitely recommend but expect your car to take all day! read more

First of all, they honored a very old certificate, and were very polite about it. I can't get over how beautiful my car looks. So clean and shiny, honestly better than when I bought it. I'm going to start this review with the good, my car was detailed quickly. Same day service. Sort of. He was late which the other yelp reviews did warn about. I had someone give me a ride and they had to wait 20 minutes which was inconvenient for her. I was early for my appointment, I hate when people don't respect someone else's time. I may have gotten my car back the same day, however, I was flat out lied to when I asked if the seats would still be wet if they didn't keep my car over night. I was told that they had the bestest most expensive equipment out there or some other braggy bullshit. Either way, it was a lie. I picked up my car and was told that the seats may still be damp but it would dry quickly as if I don't understand how wet fabric works. My ass was soaking wet when I got home despite the large sheet of PAPER they used as a protective buffer. Cheap and unprofessional. I was surprised when I picked up my car that they didn't give the outside a basic wash. I've never had a detailer give me a dirty car back so this was a little annoying. How can you tell if a window is clean on the inside when it's filthy on the outside? Answer: you can't. Which was obvious once I got my car washed. All that fancy equipment but still unprofessional behavior. I got a $5 carwash on my way home so I could see if they actually did a good job. My stereo that I just had installed had a big water spot on the inside of the panel that I couldn't reach. Luckily there was an issue with the stereo and I was getting it replaced, if not that would've just ruined the display. Very careless. I know my stereo didn't come with a cloudy spot on the interface when I bought it because it was very obvious. The inside back pockets of my seats weren't vacuumed out which was disappointing since I use them for water and snacks. Now for the ugly. When I came to pick up my car with the wet seats, the guy running the place tried to upsell me to get the outside of my car detailed although I was quite clear that I wasn't interested in that. He was also quite braggy about being a spoiled kid (his parents business is connected to his) I'd guess they gave him quite the head start. He bragged to me that he could tell that when he cleaned out my car that a middle easterner had owned it before me by the smell and debris that came out of my car. He said he could always tell when it was a foreigner's car by the smell. When I mentioned that I worked in downtown Detroit he said he was surprised that I hadn't picked up "their" inflection, meaning black people. When he told me about the trailer park nearby having a bad element that was full of thieves I was very surprised since this is in Sterling Heights. I didn't mention that it was my friend who recommended his place, my black friend just to be clear. I just wanted to see how deep of a hole he was going to dig. This kid thought that since I was white and he was white and that I would be on board his racist views, I just let him talk and it was disturbing the bias he has against any one black or foreign. Basically anyone who isn't "like us". I left furious and my friend was mad as fuck when I told her about it. One last thing, I asked for a receipt. You'd think I asked him for a personal favor when the way he balked at that. He said he could email me one and I could print it out. You're a BUSINESS. Businesses give receipts for services for fuck's sake buy a $50 printer and let your mommy and daddy write it off on their taxes. I use my car for work and I wanted to write off the detailing. After repeated texts I finally got a receipt emailed to me but it took over a week. I don't recommend this place unless you want to overpay for shoddy work or if you're looking for someone whose closed world views are clearly naive and racist. Must be nice growing up with parents who give you everything so you don't know the value of money and don't care you're ripping people off. read more

Although he did a decent job, I thought he was supposed to detail my car, not just wash it. Multiple spots missed especially my windows. For $185 an only exterior I was expecting top quality work, instead I got someone who didn't even two step polish. Swirles everywhere, wax forgot to be wiped in spots. Just overall not generally happy. Not to mention. Estimate was $175, he charged my company $185. read more

My dad recently went to Cloud 9 with his new, (off of the showroom floor) Ford Flex. He wanted the exterior package which included clay bar, Polish and wax! After the guys at Cloud 9 assessed the paint job they told my father that all the vehicle really needed was a paint sealant and not all of the above! Big ups to these guys for being honest with my dad and for not trying to take advantage of a situation! They applied the paint sealant,cleaned up the rims/tires and such, and touched up the interior! My pops said it looks even better than it did when he rolled it off of the dealer lot! Will be seeing these guys soon,with my own vehicle.. read more

Great service. I had my 2003 Explorer cleaned up after getting some body work done. I replaced the fender myself and it needed to be buffed out to match. The owner took very good care of it. I made an appointment to get my wife's car detailed for her birthday. We showed up right at 8am for the appointment and nobody was there. We waited 20 min left 2 voice mails. I didn't receive a call back till 2 hours later after I posted a Facebook review. If you are looking to get your car detailed there are more professional places out there. I shopped around to find a place that will provide quality work and a good price. When I found Cloud 9 I honestly thought the price was too good to be true seeing as local competition is two or three times as expensive. I am overly impressed with the work. The problem spots I didn't think would come clean look like the day I bought the car. Evan was professional and explained everything step by step and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Made an 8:00 am appointment and dropped my car off on time. Called at 1:30 and was told they needed 3 more hours. Came at 4:30 (8 hours later) and the only thing that was done to my car was that it was vacuumed and dash was dusted. Owner explained that they had someone not show up for the day. Someone should have called me and told me this. I wasted a whole day off and had no car the entire day for nothing. He offered if I left my car there that they would finish the job but I was unable to leave it there for longer because I had a birthday party to go to. 8 and a half hours should be plenty of time to detail the inside of a car. I have to start by saying that I personally think that Evan has good intentions and that he really to do a good job but with that said said there were way too many issues. First of all I must say that this was absolutely one of my worst experiences with any company for anything. On the date of my appointment I dropped my car off at 9:15 a.m then went home. According to my appointment details the car was supposed to be done by around 4:45 p.m. Around 5:30 p.m I had yet to hear from anyone in regards to the status of my car's completion so I decided to call to find out. Turns out not only did nobody even think to call me but when I talked to Evan on the phone he told me that they had some issues with an employee not showing up that morning, and that they had barely gotten anything done. After receiving promises of a discount and a free paint touch up, I decided to reschedule and give them a second chance one week later which is today. When I got to the business to pick up my car I noticed that it had not even been moved from where I parked it at when I first dropped it off. Essentially by not having much done they meant they never even started it which caused me to waste an entire day without a car. To my unfortunate mistake I still decided that I would give them a second chance to make things right with me. So once again I dropped my car off today at 9:15 a.m with promises that my car would absolutely be done at the latest around 5 p.m through 6 p.m. Again I waited patiently til around 5:50 p.m to get a phone call to come pick up my car only to be disappointed once again. This time I call again and I ask for the status of my car and the response I received was that their pressure hose broke during the washing of my car and that they were currently out buying a replacement. I decide to be understanding again because sometimes bad things just happen so I ask Evan when will my car be done? Evan told me that he couldn't say for sure but he said that my entire interior was done and that they only needed to do a few more things on the outside. So around 7:20 p.m I decide to find a ride to get back there and to see that they had just begun washing the outside which is 2 hours after I had called them. Now the time is 8:50 p.m and I decide to walk in to the cleaning Bay to see my car. When I went inside they tried to make it seem like they had done so much work on the interior and that the exterior only needed another coat of Polish, another coat of touch up paint, and a final wash. When I looked into the inside it turns out they hadn't even started steaming my carpet at all. So at this point I have no choice but to sit there and wait for my car to be finished since I didn't want to leave til the job was done. I finally was able to leave with my car at 11:20 p.m. This was absolutely the WORST service I have ever received, I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to this detailing shop for any reason whatsoever. read more

Do not waste your time with this yokel. He is a young kid that not once followed through on three scheduled appointments. He canceled all of them via text at the last minute. I should have figured he was sketchy just by the insistence of only cash during the one time I did speak to him. Which means insurance will not cover his work. What an absolute joke. I purchased the Gold interior and exterior package. It was supposed to take about 8 hours. Dropped off vehicle at 9am friday morning. No call/text or anything to tell me it's finished. Saturday - no call or anything. I had to call him Saturday afternoon and he still was not finished, so made an appointment to pick it up Monday morning. They open at 9am. At 10:15am He still was not there, and my truck was sitting outside still not finished. At about 10:45am when he finally got there he said I had to come back so he could finish. I came back and there were still stains on my cloth driver seat and cloth center console, and I didn't even look anywhere else, because after 4 days I absolutely had to have my car back, regardless of what it looked like. He is a young kid who runs his "detailing business" out of mommy and daddy's carpet cleaning business. I had no idea or else I would not have used Cloud 9. He does not even have legitimate invoices/receipts. He had to write me a receipt on a piece of "scratch paper". What a joke. Never, never, never again. read more
