The technician did a great job of explaining what he was going to do, and did an excellent job with the entire house including spot cleaning of stains. My experience is the same as most other's who left bad reviews. I hired them for a four hour clean after our tenants moved out. They sent multiple people and then charged me for 10 hours. After 10 hours a house should be sparkling clean. the kitchen cabinets were not even touched. The backsplash was still dirty. The appliances were not cleaned. I'm not sure what they did for ten hours but it wasn't clean. It's clear they pay for good reviews. I would avoid at all cost. read more

Hired them for a move-in clean, primarily sanitizing in kitchen and bathrooms. 2 hours, 2 people and all they did was the kitchen which would be fine except it's a very tiny kitchen, the oven was already clean, it didnt include the fridge and with 2 people it's pretty ridiculous. I would've even understood if they only got to one bathroom. Then went on to have a bad interaction with the owner. It was a waste of money and I wouldn't recommend them. read more

I just moved to the area and I called cloud 9 for a move in clean, went online to fill out the form and requested a deep clean in the kitchen with the fridge and stove. The cleaning performed was a light dusting, and I spent two hours cleaning the fridge myself after they left. They didn't even wipe the fridge door handles. Eh, we paid a lot of money and they ended up not getting the best clean. We paid $150 for a move in clean and my husband later found things to still be dirty. When I finally came to see the house I felt as though it wasn't as clean as it could be. And here is my comparison. I hired an individual who has her own business, she and 3 other woman came and cleaned my house for $140 and the place is SPOTLESS. I've never been more impressed. The master bedroom feels like a hotel. But after the techs came to clean our house with cloud 9 the house felt like it wasn't cleaned well at all, my husband had to go through and clean the house after they left because he thought he'd do a better job. And it wasn't like this house was filthy when we moved in. The family actually kept it pretty clean. Regardless. Save your money and either clean it yourself or hire an independent person. read more

We hired them for a move-in clean, we wanted a deep clean of the house including carpets and vents. They were unable to remove the stains left on the carpet. For their deep cleaning service, they did not do a thorough job, it doesn't look like they cleaned at all, see pictures. There were cobwebs and dead bugs. My husband called and they wouldn't offer a refund, a minimal partial discount. I'm still requesting a full refund. I do not recommend them. From their comments, we did not do a final walk through. My husband was not there at the time. He returned and there was no one on site and our house was not cleaned. read more

I had a special cleaning request, for citrus pre-cleaning made by the manufacturer of a carpet shield product that left behind some residue. My first contact was by phone, and they were accommodating to provide the written estimate I needed to attempt reimbursement from the manufacturer. If you like to babysit the people you hire to clean, and you don't mind them doing a slow, crap job by all means waste your money on these cleaners. After reading other reviews I thought... hey, maybe they just didn't have enough time to finish the work people were asking. So, I asked for the whole (empty) 2000 square foot house to be deep cleaned, with no time limit. 15 hours later and I still have to go back and actually scrub the floor I asked to have scrubbed, dust shelves, window sills, baseboards, remove spider webs and clean cupboards that they missed. Pathetic. I would liken it to getting a "deep tissue" massage from someone with a duster. read more

I had to think long and hard about this review. I rely on YELP quite a bit so here goes: I saw a lot of good reviews about house cleaning plus a great new business discount. Techs were on time and friendly. Here's where the process breaks down. There is a checklist with certain expectations (e.g. deep cleaning) which sounds great but wasn't followed through even with a "walk through- you are going to mop that, right?" It didn't happen and even a week later I find myself wondering why I didn't stay with Merry Maids. My house (absolutely) was awful after this COVID mess, but I could have cleaned it better (and have) myself. Carpet cleaning is FANTASTIC, so please take this review as intended. read more

I have been preparing my house to put on the market and called Cloud 9 to have the place professionally cleaned, carpets and all. They were great as far as getting me scheduled quickly and explaining everything up front. They stated that they always recommend that you do the home cleaning before the carpet cleaning so I went with that recommendation. I was told the cleaners would show up between 12:30 and 1, but that I'd get a call ahead of time. I didn't receive a call and the first person didn't show up until nearly 1:30, then the second showed up at almost 2:30. They were nice and I was pleased with their work, although I was surprised by how long it took as I have a very small house. The next day the fella showed up to do the carpet cleaning and was on time, which was great. He was quick and I think he did a decent job. The reason that I am giving them two stars is that I now have to re-clean all of the floors in non-carpeted rooms and all of the baseboards in the carpeted rooms because the carpet cleaning kicked up a ton of dirt onto both. I would estimate that those two things took at least 2 hours of the cleaners time which equates to 66.00 wasted dollars and now my time in addition. Not the end of the world, but super disappointing. read more

We have our house professionally cleaned about once every two months to help the upkeep be easier the rest of the time. We tried a couple of the cheap Groupon/Living Social deals and found ourselves pretty disappointed with the work, even though we are not OCD by any stretch of the imagination. I decided to try Cloud 9 using an Angie's LIst deal - more pricey than the Groupon deals, but still very reasonable. Since then, we have ONLY used Cloud 9 for our bi-monthly cleanings. Our cleaner, Dana, can do an amazing amount of work in short time. We are always very pleased with the job she does. We also once hired for some upholstery and furniture cleaning from Cloud 9 and were pleased with that. So, all around we have no complaints at all. read more

DO NOT USE this service. Save yourself the grief! Alisha (Owner) was easy to work with in getting the appointment scheduled. We discussed what needed to be cleaned at the house. I thought it was pretty straight forward. The house is 1600 sq ft and completely vacant. The carpets had been cleaned already. We just needed someone to come in and clean all surfaces including the oven. We settled on the 6 hour package for $199.00. On the day of the service, I received a call from Susan (cleaner). She seemed to not know where to begin with cleaning the house. She needed a priority list. I instructed her to clean the kitchen and the bathrooms and go from there. I stopped by the home later that evening to check on the work. The entry way and kitchen laminate flooring were still dirty, the sink was full of residue, the cupboards and closets were still dusty and all the window sills were dirty. The house is being listed for sale in 4 days, so I will be scrambling in the evening this week to clean what wasn't completed. Needless to say, I expected more for my money. When I called Alisha to discuss my disappointment in the service, she stood by her employee's work and stated that since I didn't specifically state to sweep the kitchen floor or wipe out the sink, that it is subject to the interpretation of the cleaner. What part of clean the kitchen doesn't include the floor and sink? I gave Alisha the opportunity to "Do the Right Thing" and come back to finish the job, but she proceeded to quote me additional pricing for more hours of their cleaning service. No Thank you! Jeremy followed up with me very quickly and scheduled a time that they could have my carpets cleaned the next day. The cleaning tech showed up to clean the rest of the home the same day and saved the day! The carpets had not been this clean since they were new and they removed a stain from my daughters crayons that I thought could not come out. We have used Cloud 9 for 2-3 years and they always do an excellent job. We just moved into a new townhouse and had them come out to clean our carpets. Our entire house is carpeted with the exception of the laundry room, entry hall and kitchen, which amounts to over 1,000 sq. ft. of carpeting. I hired the team to come by before my parents came to town last minute style. They guys showed up right on time and were in and out within an hour. I have cats and there were some challenging areas that needed to be cleaned. I didn't know my carpets could even look that good. I was very impressed with the speed, professionalism and communication throughout to help get the best results. One room of full carpet including closets and three large area rugs were cleaned and looked brand new. The scent that they used was eucalyptus and it was not too overwhelming. A local company. I called based on high rating on Angie's list. They responded to my request for quote the following business day due to calling on the weekend. We required house window cleaning inside and out prior to putting house on market. Two story house with windows in every room. Quote was based on number of windows within certain size. Due to having a high number of windows I recieved a discount per window that made the quote very reasonable. I booked immediately and they arrived within 2 days and exactly in the time specified. The 2 techs Jay and Uriel were very professional and polite. They were efficient in making the count to confirm the number of windows and the price quoted then got straight to work. I forgot to count the garage doors and the skylight but those were easily counted and added on. Very straight forward. Following the work we did a walk through together to make sure everything was addressed and look great. Paid and out the door. Perfect! I strongly recommend this company! read more
