Today was my lucky day. I actually had an appointment somewhere else this afternoon. But this morning I was called and told the stylist did not show up. Panic mode set in and I was in the hunt for an appointment. I called Cloud9 expecting to have to wait a few weeks for a weekend appointment. Fortunately for me, Thea had a cancellation and I was accommodated right away for an all over color. I was going from super blond to brunette. Thea was wonderful; typically I don't talk much when getting my hair done and she added the right amount of friendly, not forced conversation. The salon atmosphere was also fantastic. All the staff was friendly. Music was playing but it was not so loud that you couldn't hear conversation like it is at many salons. Because of Covid-related and maternity absences from my two previous stylists, I was paired with Lanae, a very easygoing and wonderfully talented stylist who immediately made me feel at ease! I told Lanae my hair goals and she AMAZINGLY executed it while also maintaining the integrity of my hair. Alright. I don't even know where to start. They were able to get me in for my initial appointment (through text communication, which I loved!) and took so many details from me while getting scheduled. My appointment was kind of last minute for a busy salon, but they offered me my choice of time slots, with a choice of stylists and gave their skill levels to me as well. Scheduling and communication is freaking top notch. Coming in I chose to work with Jaki. She was amazing from start to finish. She consulted with me on what we can, can't, should, could and wouldn't do on my hair which I really loved that she took the time to do. We combined some inspo pics I brought and went over in such detail what to expect. She exceeded expectations. While I initially booked for a detailed color and cut, I definitely screwed up on my end with time coordination on a prior engagement that same afternoon and after she gave me some options to save time, we decided against a cut to save some time. She KILLED it on my color and they were able to book me for my next day off for the cut and style I want. She was super friendly and relatable and even came up to the front desk with me while paying to remind the coordinator I didn't get a cut and not to charge me (which she hadn't, she was on top of it yall!) I cannot stress how picky I am about my hair and I am just so pleased that I found a holy grail near me that was so honest and upfront and skilled. 10/10 recommendation! read more

Let me start that my facial and massage was great. My skin looks refreshed and my massage therapist did a great job at releasing tension. What really bugged me is I paid for a 3 hour package and only received two hours. I started at 1:05pm and ended at 3:10pm. It should of ended at 4pm. I asked the front desk why it was shorter than was expected, and the reason was they "round up". And the scrub is 15min. If you know the scrub is 15min, then why advertise as a 3 hour service. I am a licensed esthetician and LMT. I do these exact same services at my place of work, I usually have the client the full 3 hours on table. I have never ended early, especially not by an hour. They also don't do intake forms or any consultation, which is usually a reason less time on table but none of that was done. I feel a little cheated. Almost as if money was taken from me. Our friend also ended an hour early, as she was already in the waiting room when I came out, and she was the bachelorette. I don't blame the employees, I blame the company for false advertising. I was going to book another spa day for my bday in August and decided not to. read more

Beware of this salon!!! I have been to a number of stylists there for hair cut and color. Some were not bad, but some were not great. The good stylists all leave within a few months of working there. The management of the salon over books the stylists. All appointments start late. They even booked someone over my last (and final) appointment due to illness of another stylists. Didn't have the courtesy to call me to let me know of the delay and/or offer reschedule...I'm done with this place read more

I LOVE this place. Every service I have had as been stellar. Lee has been cutting my hair for almost 2 years now and I love everything she does. I go with a picture and come out with the cut that's almost identical. She also colors my hair and I have never been unhappy. I go to Nikki or Abby for my nails. They are both fantastic and give great manicures and pedicures. I wouldn't go any where else. Wow. I'm impressed. Had a hair emergency and Cloud Nine Salon and Spa was able to get me in the same day. Tina colored, cut and styled my auburn hair and did an amazing job. She only did the roots, and was able to match the color perfectly. I've already made my next regular appointment in 4 weeks. I went to cloud 9 and was very nervous. I was going from really dark to wanting gradual lightning. I explained to Tina what I wanted and she nailed it. I was nervous about the cut and it was apparent she knows what she is doing. She told me she was from New York and has been doing hair for 27 years. She's awesome! Nikki was amazing at massage and Ginger as well at facials. However, the manicures/pedicures here are terrible. The girl I had did exactly what I would have done at home and when I asked why she didn't use the dry skin pincher thing she said "it scares me." I received the worst shellac manicure of my life, so bad I had someone remove it 5 minutes after I got it. Go here to be pampered but go somewhere else for mani/pedis. read more

Also the owner is giving (more like showering upon) me soooo many ways to thrive in this industry. I have been going to Kylie once a month for a year now and she is fantastic! I have thin dark hair and she bleaches it to a light blonde every time without frying my hair. My hair still shines which it has never done after highlighting. Kylie is very professional, friendly, and very talented. The salon is beautiful. They will offer you coffee and water in the grotto where I usually wait for my hair to process. It's usually very quiet and relaxing in there. Their prices aren't too bad either. I really don't see myself jumping ship any time soon. I love this place. read more

The only reason I did not go 5 stars was one staff member who seemed bored and complacent w/her job. She kinda ruined the end of my relaxing spa treatment w/her underlying negativity. However the rest if the staff were so kind and happy they really seemed to enjoy their jobs and made me feel very welcome. It was my first facial and they made it so comfortable. The massage wa so nice and it was pleasant to have a conversation w/out a child around just grown ups. The atmosphere was nice however they obviously don't enforce the no cell phone rule that's posted on their walls. Many ppl were on their phones or playing games quite loudly. read more
