I had a group of ten and when we asked a wait time they told us 30 minutes if that. We let them know also if they needed to split up our group that was perfectly fine because it is,only 11 degrees outside. They left us standing outside for 45 minutes as we watched at least 25 people get sat. Not only did he seat 4 people at a 6 top table but anytime he would seat someone else he would look at my group and then invite the other in. When we said something to him stating again we would split up he said I know but I though and then stopped speaking. When I asked to talk to his manager he told me he was in the back and blew me off. Absolutely DELICIOUS sushi. SO fresh and just yummy yummy yummy! Kind of a small restaurant. There was very little room between the tables and the bar area, so be prepared to get close to your neighbors. I had the spider roll and it was wonderful. My friend had the C9 Supreme and it was ten times better than mine. I highly recommend that one. Yum yum yum. So the food was about the same as Ichiban which is a good sign. The rolls were large, the prices great, the nigiri was delicious. What really did it for us over ichiban was the vibe. Where ichiban was this weird mix of packed-house yet dead-vibe, cloud9 felt intimate, perfect for sushi. Went to cloud nine sushi tonight 12/04/2019 About 9:05 pm, they said there were a lot of people waiting (there was no one waiting) so I wanted to sit in the 4sester by the window so I could watch TV, no sports. The restaurant was half empty I just wanted to watch TV while i was having dinner, not sports. there was a show and the greeter ask if I wanted to sit there, but the man server would not let me sit at the four seater, he came over to me and said to me, you got a go order I said no well you can't sit here you can take a bar seat or wait till there's a seat empty there were 30 seats empty 25 chairs and 5 barstools, they need to fix the seating arrangement, not to many people in there at the time I was there, why can I sit where I want? there were 5 four seaters empty and then two empty seats right next to a 4 seater, when it comes to seating these people have problems that guy was very rude to me. I did not say their food was not good I just don't like to be treated like garbage I went in there to spend money, this is not the first time this is happened to me I went there during Oktoberfest and there might of been three tables being used they seem to want to cram you with everybody whether you like it or not, sometimes you just wanna sit by yourself not crammed with a bunch of other people, well they won't let you sit where you want No matter how few people they have there as read more

Very cheap and very good. Open super late which is very convenient. With an extremely casual and lively atmosphere, this is a true hole in the wall. The quality of the food is consistent and tasty. Made fresh to order, the sushi comes out lightning quick whilst the other menu items such as the Pad Thai take much longer. That is my only complaint. When eating with friends they have all finished there sushi while I'm still waiting on my entree. I was told by our server that "the kitchens work individually and do not communicate with each other." If they would make an effort to fix this then they would get a full 5 stars from me. I came back for dinner, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Everything was a great deal, including large bottles of sake for $2.50. I had the Alaskan roll (sooo good), crunchy tuna and firecracker rolls. I would definitely come back. My fiance and I visited at 1 in the morning and they were full- this is definitely not what you'd expect for drunk people fare. We split four rolls and two slices of sashimi for under $25. I am absolutely dumbfounded by this place. A friend and I decided to check it out last night after going out since ichiban (our favorite) was closed. We sat at the sushi bar for 30 minutes without being acknowledged despite asking several servers what was going on. Then when we went to leave after giving up I told the host and said "just so he knew we waited forever" and he literally looked at me and said "if you don't like it there is the door." Okay, I get that they have to deal with a lot of difficult drunk people late night, however I was not one of them and the lack of service and extreme rudeness was unacceptable. Completely obsessed with this restaurant!!! We moved out of town, and every time we come back, we have to go....multiple times! If you love sushi, you should try could 9. Half price...you can't beat it. I have a hungry husband who can eat 6 rolls himself...so needless to say, sushi dates are expensive. But with cloud 9, we can have awesome sushi and not lose an arm and a leg. We do eat a lot of sushi, so we have had our fair share of bad and good. It might just be my taste, but this place has the most delicious crave-able sushi I have ever had. This is truly my favorite restaurant. I recommend the C9 Supreme, the Red Double and the Sunday Morning. Those are my go-to rolls to share between 2 people. Another great roll which isn't on the menu is the Phoenix (it's huge). Also good is the crab salad. Get there before 7 for half price beers every day. They have large bottles of Sapporo and Kirin for 7$ full price! Cloud freaking 9! Oh how you have made me hate other Sushi joints, growing up I had such an uneducated opinion about Sushi saying things like "eeew raw fish" "who would eat meat that isn't cooked" "its so little you would have to eat twenty". Well now I eat raw fish, I then learned its not all raw and yes judge me but I eat at least three rolls. Who do I have to thank for now often indulging in this wonderful cuisine? My Cambodian friend (hilarious right) one fine evening she talked both myself and my now ex jock turned farmer friend into visiting this delicious establishment. I've never looked back. I still have a hard time trying new things due to the fact that I love the C9 and Eel Roll, but I have had all of the basics. It is all wonderful, I have visited a good amount of Sushi joints here in Cincinnati, Florida and in Missouri (bad idea). Cloud 9 will amaze you, even when busy (99% of the time) the service is still scary good. The Chefs (I don't know the technical name if one) are top notch and very friendly. The Calamari is second to none that I have had and is piled a mile high for less than $10. The Beer selection is okay, the only bad beer I have ever had by Dogfish Head I had here, so bad I forgot the name. Plenty of other good ones though. If you like Sushi and you haven't had Cloud 9 then pop in and love Sushi when you leave. read more

I'm not sure I understand the whole "sushi is always 50% off" gimmick-- why not just change the prices on the menu?-- but questionable marketing tactics aside, it's cheap and tasty. One thing I do not understand which seems to be a common practice with sushi places is "Half Price Sushi" all the time (Cloud Nine Sushi participates in this trend). Is "Half Price" the new "Low Price"? Personally, I believe it devalues one's brand, etc, but I regress. I only give them 2 stars because the food was great. I didn't like the experience at all. One employee was constantly complaining out loud which was annoying. Complaining about door dash runners.... Other employees didn't even really talk to the customers; didn't smile. Basically it felt like they wanted to hurry up, do their service and get you out. I felt bad for the employees that we're making the food because the waiters were mean to them. Then the employee that was complaining about the door Dash runners was mocking customers laughs.
