I can't say enough about Cloud 9! I took my boxer there for a couple of nights knowing I had a long trip coming up. She was so happy there that I felt completely comfortable leaving her for a week. When I came home, she seemed younger and spunkier! They truly get to know your pet and love them! The facilities are super nice and the animals are treated like royalty with playtimes, "nightly turn down service" with treats, and a bath the day they go home. We have been using this business for a few months now after having a bad experience at another local kennel (that was supposed to be great) last year. Our Lab and Yorkie love this place and get a bath on pickup day. We pay $40 a day for both in one suite. The pricing is very reasonable, the place is clean and the personnel have always been nice to us and kind to our pets. There are brochures readily available describing exactly what you get and the web site also provides plenty of information. read more

I loved Cloud 9 Pet Resort! They watched my husky over the 4th of July weekend. It was a very neat place and reasonably priced. They gave him a bath before he left from his stay and he was so soft and smelt amazing. I will definitely use them over and over. Daniel is the best dog groomer. Be sure to ask for him! read more

This is the absolute most amazing place! We bring our fur baby here for daycare and boarding or whenever he gets restless. This review is long overdue. I used to take my dog here every time she needed to be groomed. I picked my dog up and she had a 3 inch gash on her back side and another small one close to it. We contacted them several times after taking her to the vet. She had to get on antibiotics and wear a cone for over a month. The owner proceed to ignore my calls then when I visited in person he told me, "there's no way that happened to your dog here." He kept implying I was lying, until I said, "so you're calling me a liar?" And he said, "well what does it sound like? We didn't do that to your dog. So you're the one who is hurting your dog." It seemed very unreal and super unprofessional. My coach took his dog there and he ended up with a gash and infection as well. Don't take your dog there if you care about them. ... also funny the owner replied to my review saying he'd never call a customer a liar and acted like I went to a different place. It's right next to a tattoo shop in wylie by Davis. I know the place. I guess I wouldn't want to claim that type of customer service either but yeah this owner is a liar and full of it. Posting this is a waste of time but I'm being petty since my dog was harmed and then accused me of it. read more

I am so pleased with everything at Cloud Nine! I had never left my "kids" before and was given a tour and personal cell numbers and told to feel free to check in any time. My dogs just adore their groomer, Daniel and are treated like family by everyone there. My boys cannot wait to go back and I'm so happy they have a home away from home! We took our dirty ol' English bulldog to Cloud Nine while we were away for a weekend. He came back to us as sparkly as he could ever be in both cleanliness and personality! He doesn't have a tail, so his butt wags when he's happy. His butt his been swishing back and forth for days since going there. He obviously had a great time and we can't say how much we appreciate their genuine care of our dog! read more

We took our small Yorkie here about 4 months ago for the first time to be groomed. They didn't bother to ask any questions about how we would like him cut or any special needs during his time there. When we picked him up they didn't even know where our dog was! It also made me uncomfortable that as soon as we walked in the door to pick him up the groomer slammed her door shut. We were the ones that finally located him sitting in a crate under the window. We did not even recognize him because he had been groomed so poorly and not at all the way you groom a Yorkie (he has been groomed several times at other groomers with no issue). He was not himself at all for about two weeks after that. Shaking and terrified if anyone came close to him, would not go outside, and just all around a different dog. I am not at all sure what went on while he was being groomed but I will NEVER take him back ever again. We just recently had him groomed at a different pet spa with ZERO issues and the groomer had nothing but wonderful things to say about him while he was there. STAY AWAY from this place. read more

I have taken my dogs to Cloud Nine several times for boarding or daycare. After today, we will not be going back. All 3 were covered in mud, one had diarrhea and it was all over her backside and it seemed like none of them had water for quite some time. I'm furious. read more

I would not recommend Cloud Nine to friends or family. Besides the pricing being a little high ($75 to groom my cat), the communication was absolutely unprofessional. Though the two men who greeted me and helped carry my cat inside were very kind and courteous, the entire experience left me feeling absolutely irate. To begin, I scheduled a 9:00 appointment over a week in advance to shave my cat's fur. I arrived ten minutes early, and was greeted and told to fill out a card (no proof of ownership or medical records were requested, so I can only trust that other animals were in good medical health and non-contageous). I wasn't given a chance to ask questions, and one staff member told me that she would give me a call when the appointment was finished. I told her that I had an appointment at 9:00, expecting that the entire process might be over by 9:30/9:45 and she replied that Saturdays were extremely busy, and there were 5 or 6 other dogs ahead of me: "She won't be finished until waaaay after 9:00." Personally, I didn't need to know about 5 or 6 other dogs: my appointment was scheduled at 9:00 and I was on time. Nevertheless, I left to run some errands while I waited. It was 10:00 when I finished, and I decided to return to Cloud Nine to sit in the lobby and wait for them to finish grooming my cat (I was assuming that 30-45 minutes was enough time to groom her). When I walked in, the woman who had spoken to me earlier looked at me and said that they hadn't even gotten to her yet. I was shocked- she has been in her crate for an hour and nobody's touched her? What happened to the 9:00 scheduled appointment? It was then that she told me that on Saturdays it was normal for pets to wait FOUR TO SIX HOURS to be groomed. I was absolutely FLOORED. My cat was expected to wait in a crate for four to six hours, even though I had brought her in on time for a scheduled 9:00 appointment?? I don't think so. What is the point of reserving a space in time if you won't be helping her for 4-6 hours afterward? I was pretty upset, and asked them to make her the next on the list. I went home to wait for the call, and was called by the owner himself (kudos to them for passing the problem onto a higher authority) who let me know that my cat was on the table as he was speaking, and they were working to shave off her mattes. I got a call at 11:30 that she was finished, and when I arrived to pick her up, the total due was simply stated to me: $75. No apology, no other form of communication. On my way out, I caught the eye of the groomer who had dealt with me earlier as she was taking care of another dog. She laughed and said very casually, "haha, sorry it took so long! Saturdays are so busy!" I felt that if it was a common occurrence for an animal to be caged for 4-6 hours, that should have been communicated at the time of the appointment. Another appropriate time to disclose this information could have been when I arrived with my cat at the designated hour of appointment. To tell me after she had been waiting for an hour already was well beyond the point of professionalism. I felt that my own time was disrespected; my cat was not treated humanely by being left in her cage for up to 6 hours; communication by the staff was unprofessional; the lack of apology or intent to rectify an obvious communication error was disrespectful; the fact that they were cramming 5-6 animals into an hour time slot, without actually offering services during the appointed times showed me that Cloud Nine was mostly concerned with packing in as much money-making clients as possible, and that the care of individual animals was only secondary. I definitely recommend avoiding Cloud Nine Pet Resort for other potential clients, and I will certainly never be visiting the center again. read more

Very unorganized and chaotic. When called to make reservation was told he was not at front desk, took dates, name and phone no and said would call back but never did. When showed up to drop off dogs, no reservation and everyone scrambled to make accommodations. Requested grooming for one of the dogs. Arrived home from vacation a day early due to tornadoes, called Cloud Nine at 9am but voicemail only so left MSG. Called again 11am, again had to leave MSG. After no call back by 2pm went to pick up dogs neither had been bathed and no grooming was done. Had to ASK for dog's belongings while gentleman stuffed his face with pizza. One of our dogs was brought to us with a BLEEDING mouth. Immediately took to vet who advised us they had 2 other such incidents from Cloud Nine with dogs having cuts, scratches, etc upon pickup. Those who gave such raving reviews must have dealt with different employees, the ones we saw were very incompetent and extremely uncaring of our pets! read more

Took both my little dogs in yesterday and it turned out to be a very sad day. They have a picture attached of how the Shih Tzu is supposed to be groomed with detailed notes. Yesterday, a different groomer I hadn't seen before, decided to shave all her hair off her ears. I can't believe a groomer could make such a mistake. When I had stopped by an hour earlier, groomer had just started on her but groomer was too busy on her cell phone to be paying attention to what she was doing. She never got off her cell to answer how much longer. #1 groomer should have been talking to me, not a third-party receptionist; #2 if groomer had a problem with the picture, then why not call me for clarification? Groomer never came out to say she was sorry or to apologize. None of the other groomers that have come and gone have had any problems. I wonder why there are so many groomers going through there? read more
