This review is long overdue but let me start by saying this is one of my favorite places in Lubbock. I often times find myself here when I'm craving a hookah or just want an incredible shawarma, burger, or fried chicken sandwich. I will admit, if you are ordering food the service is a little bit slow so come when you have around some extra free time but the ambience totally makes up for it. It's a very chill place where you can come to study, relax, or just hang with friends. Adam and Mo are genuinely some of the nicest people I have ever met and have helped me through many issues. They care about building a relationship with the customer and not only for specific people but for everybody. The hookah flavors are pretty good as well and the hookahs last a few hours. They also have specials mainly with Indian breakfast cuisine and African lunch cuisine. The gizzard, Jollof rice, and chicken drumstick are incredible and I definitely recommend asking about it when ordering. I prefer this place over Vizos not only for the service but I believe the food is better too. Next time you are in Lubbock I highly recommend you stop by the fantastic establishment. read more

Im not rating this place for hookah or the bar aspect if you want a review on that go look at another review. This place has the best and most authentic shawarma in lubbock, if you have never had it I would definitely recomend going. The place is a bar so as far as ambiance and everything goes expect it to be a normal college bar, not a restaurant. Service is a little slow but very nice and I would say once you have tried the food nothing else matters. read more

Amazing little spot! Was in Lubbock for a friends graduation and found this place. Not sure, but I think It maybe the only hookah spot in Lubbock but it was amazing. It is a BYOB which unfortunately my friends n I didn't know but we still had a great time on Saturday night! Hookah is amazing and lasts well over 2 hrs! Went back on Sunday as I awaited my flight n met Mo who I believe is the owner n he was phenomenal! Recommended a few flavors which were on point! Hookah is well priced! Restrooms r ridiculously clean n just a great chill vibe overall! Was there well over 5 hrs as I awaited my flight n only had to get a refill once. A customer and I spontaneously decided to hit up this Hookah spot! We went in with confidence when we saw the 5.0 review on Yelp. Well the reviews were spot on! I want to say from the moment we walked in, Moe the owner was very inviting and was so passionate about Hookah. He took his time and allowed us to smell samples of the flavors he recommended for our taste. The vibe was so chill and the 90's R&B music really hit the spot. Moe also allowed us to sample his homemade tea and I will say, as a hot tea lover, this was the BEST hot tea I have ever had. Some of the customers were ordering food which smelt and looked amazing so we were disappointed we had eaten before we came. Because we are world travelers, Moe spent some time talking to us about the Middle East and we shared with each other some of the adventures we have experienced. This place is great, and it's a surprise it's not much more popular than it is. First off, whether you're a hookah smoker or not, it's still worth a visit. The vibe is great, and you can get either a table or a couch, meaning it's a great place to hang out with friends. Plus, it's BYOB. The food is excellent. Each time Moe adds something to the menu I try to get it, and every time I have been very pleased. The shawarma and falafel are great, but if that's not your speed the burger is one of the best I have had in Lubbock. Best mediteranian food in town. Mahmoud is an amazing cook with great people skills. My favorites are fafel, Shawarma salad or sandwich and kafta salad or sandwich. First of all you can tell that Moe (owner) put his heart and soul into this business, and that on it's own sold me. I'm by no means a hookah connoisseur, but when you come check it out ask for a grapefruit head, it tastes amazing! I've tried about 5 different items on the menu and haven't been disappointed. My latest meal was the chicken sandwich on a ciabatta bun that was to die to! Huge portion so I packed it up to go, but I ended up eating cold after a while (tastes just as great). If you're looking for a chill place to work/study at during the day this is it! If you want to go on a date or out with friends this is the perfect spot. I had the burger with fries and fried pickles --- loved the fries, burger and pickles...very happy we tried it, I'll definitely be back.
