We were looking for a nice seafood spot in town and this was recommended to us. Walking in, it seems more of a lounge/restaurant. Bar in the middle and tvs everywhere. You can come here to watch the games while enjoying your meal at the same time. Staff was friendly. Even the owner came up and greeted us. (Even threw in comp'd desserts for us) We went with the special beef pho and seafood tray (It's al a carte). Most of the seafood will depend on market price when ordering. Seafood tray we went with the mild garlic butter. And for the pho, it pretty much had all the works. Broth was a little light in my opinion and I wasn't a fan of the noodles that they used. Wish they would add more meatballs as well. Overall we had a good experience with the staff and would definitely go back for the atmosphere. read more

Pho was ok, but my friend and I now have awful food poisoning. I really thought I was going to have to get taken to the ER. If you want to eat here go ahead, but I can't guarantee that you'll be the same after eating at this restaurant. I know I won't. read more

The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and attentive. It is one of my favorite palaces to go near to my home.

Today my friends and I came for our ladies dinner. Robin the Bar Manager was so knowledgeable on the menu and made excellent recommendations. Tim, one of the owners came out and welcomed us. He informed us of what condiments complimented our meals. The food was absolutely delicious! I mean everything had the best flavor with amazing touch of spice! I'm from California... and I came to Lubbock for graduation and we came here ....and I swear they are the nicest & most hospital crew ever! The food is insane. The bar is so fun. And it reminds me of my hometown bar on the beach.... Every time I'm here I will definitely come by. Places like this deserve to be supported. read more

Unfortunately, our experience here was terrible. 1. They ran out of several items we wanted to order. 2. One of the items we ordered was the "Snow Crab Claws in butter sauce" for $16.75, and we did not expect this (see image). -The Tiniest crab claws! (We can go to the grocery store to get bigger claws and drown them in butter ourselves.) 3. We also ordered the "Asian Fusion Crab Shells appetizer." There was no Asian fusion about it, hardly any crab, and a lot of breadcrumbs. Also, served again in tiny crab shells. 4. Another item we ordered, they literally just put boxed crackers as a side. You can do better than that for the high prices. 5. Lastly, there was blaring loud country music and the waiter refused to turn it down. Therefore, the High Prices did NOT reflect or correlate with the quality or quantity of the dishes. The ambiance was uncomfortable and confusing for a seafood slash sports bar. read more

We went on the 2nd day of this restaurant being open and were not disappointed. They had live music going on Friday night, we were seated right away, and our server was very attentive. We ordered a couple of appetizers: stuffed crab shells and crab Rangoon. Both were great! We also got the pick 3 seafood boil and got shrimp, lobster, and crab. Everything was excellent! I am a crab fanatic so I was so excited to try the king crab! It was delicious! The only thing that was off to me was the tiny weird potatoes in the boil hahah! The fried zucchini was great as well! If you plan on getting the king crab I would plan on sharing it with another person or coming very hungry bc it is a lot of food! There were few customers. We were seated and waited at least 20 minutes before anyone even came to the table and they just brought two waters to our table of four. We then wait another 10 minutes to place our order and asked the pricing of the crab and the waitress went back and asked. The menu shows king crab and it's advertised but they don't even serve it. We ordered our food, then waited another 25 plus minutes for them to come out and tell us they arnt serving crab/steamed seafood right now. The reason being because they haven't turned the steamer on today so they weren't starving those items. We were not made aware of steamed items not being served today or we would not of been there waiting for an hour. They need to have their team on the same page and make changes know to them and customers so customers don't order and wait for items that are not available. read more

I ate my 71st birthday dinner here with my son. The shrimp, and Snow Crab legs were excellent! I poured some of the extra sauce over white rice. Yum! The owner Kevin was running around taking care of business, saying hello, and checking on everyone. We had such fun cracking the claws open. We also had cooked mussels and oysters. I found the music to be a little loud at times, but then I was sober. I would definitely go back as non-fried seafood is hard to find in Lubbock. It's a great place for a party as everyone gets to play with their food. lol read more

This is the wildest crowd / bar scene I've ever been to after 9pm this place is outrageous. They let under age kids drink as well as let drunks argue at the bar and let them drive home and leave. The food was overpriced and everything fried was burnt. Beers cold that's about the only thing that gives this place one star. read more

This is the best restaurant in Lubbock! I love this place, the food and the customer service. The bar tenders make some of the best tasting drinks using only fresh ingredients. Best watermelon margarita I've ever had in my life. The snow crab claws are to die for. I can't get enough of them. The flavor and seasonings they are using is just unmatched. Everything on the menu is good. The beef tenderloin and fried rice is always cooked to perfection. The orange chicken was amazing. The servers, bar tenders, cooks and owners will all stop by your booth or table and make sure you're having a great time and the food is to your liking. Your drinks will never go empty because the servers are constantly paying attention. If you want to take someone out on a date take them to District 1. I wanna like this place, but there's some things they need to work on. The service was very good. The vibe is good. Sorta like a dive bar. The crab was good, but there's too much clove in the spice. Also, when "crab" is in the name, the one thing you CANNOT be out of is crab. Bread should NOT be a side item. Bread should be served with butter, as should crab legs. The fried zucchini seemed to come from a bag. As I said, I wanna like this place, but they've got work to do. I will say this about the service...order beer. My son loves boiled seafood. I love Asian food. He and I have been to District 1 probably 10 times now. I can't recommend it enough if you like this kind of food. Always great service and food is unmatched. Give them a shot if you have not already. He loves the crab and crawfish w medium sauce (it is extremely hot even at medium. Go with mild if you don't like spicy). I like all of the fried rice dishes. Note only the crawfish fried rice comes with the crawfish mixed in with the rice.
