Food was cold, many trays were empty or left with just small amount of sauce remaining. We had two people check on us while at our table and explained we were waiting for hot food (after explaining that what was out was cold and empty). Absolutely horrible. We went for their lunch buffet just after 1pm. The food was cold, almost all of the pans were empty or empty, and so we were told that more was getting made and after 45 minutes we left having rice, some naan, and 3 bite sized pieces of chicken. read more

The dosa was hot, crisp, and super fresh, and the toppings were flavorful and filling. The lassi was creamy and sweet and cold, perfect accompaniment! In the old Namaste spot, and some signage is still up. Freshened up inside, very welcoming, and very friendly service. I went at noon on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. The buffet is weekend only. Got some veggie pakora to start, and wooo, it was huge, and very good. Crispy outside, perfect, fluffy inside, with a couple of sauces. I should have just gotten that- a big enough portion for a lunch! Lots of interesting stuff on the menu. Momos, curries, and much more. But with dosa in the name I figured I should try a dosa. I did not know what they were, but the menu pictures made me think of a wrap or a gyro, decent-sized, maybe build it yourself. I got a marsala dosa. It came out and I was floored. Huge, and if it had been a filled thing like a burrito just massive and startling. It's actually kind of like a crepe, huge, rolled up. As long as my forearm. Thin and crispy and nice to eat on its own, but you can tear off pieces and dip in the chutney and sauces that come with it, on a large platter that still can't quite contain it. Went here recently for an early dinner mainly to try their South Indian food. Food: we got the masala dosa, rava dosa, medu vada, and rassam. Portion sizes for the dosas are pretty big but the food was good, we were hungry, so we ate it all haha. The potatoes for the masala were very flavorful! We thought the sambar was a little bland and had to mix the rassam in it (which helped). The vadas were fresh and crispy! Service: a little slow. It a took a while for the food to come out even though the restaurant wasn't full at all. The staff was friendly and attentive tho. Would I return? Sure. If you're craving some South Indian food, this place is a good fix. PS: we asked about their buffet and they do not serve dosas as part of it, which I think is very disappointing. If this is cumin and curry's "dosa kitchen" dosas should def be highlighted as part of their Buffett. Hopefully they can hire enough staff (or wtv they need to do) to change that! read more

Ok, really don't want to pst this BUT! I dined in at Dosa Kitchen 1/22/2025 around 6:30p. Very nice place, seemed clean, service was good, food was very good. I had leftovers that I packed, potato dosa, garlic naan and the yellow lentils and rice. I go the warm my yellow lentils for lunch and as I was eating, I bite on something weird. I take it out of my mouth and it was a small piece of wire! Thank goodness I didn't swallow it! Very leery of returning! It was my first visit and disappointed by that. Dosa Kitchen delivered several meals for the wedding of our son for 100+ guests at Hilton Easton spanning over three days. Their food quality was truly remarkable. They offered a huge variety of food, e.g., South Indian, North Indian, Indo-Chinese and even item outside of their menu, e.g., poha and scrambled eggs. Their Staff was present to ensure that food was setup on time, kept warm and the quantity was enough. They provided their buffet station to display food for each meal which truly shows their professionalism. Several guests told us personally that the food was very tasty. Dhiraj was very accommodating in adjusting the menu and quantity as needed for the head count given for each meal. Their proximity to Hilton was also very beneficial to ensure timeliness of the food delivery including delivering breakfast by 9am which was truly exceptional. The overall food price was also quite competitive. We'd highly recommend them if you are hosting a such event at Hilton Easton or in Columbus. read more

Full disclosure I'm a foodie. I love Indian food and am very critical of a dish. With that being said I ordered the lamb biryani yesterday and it was so delicious! Up there with the best biryani I've had in Columbus. If I had to nitpick a bit...I would see people saying it was slightly salty but I have a salt-tooth and loved it. I was looking forward to having a different weekend buffet option for Indian food. We had a party of 5, of which no one had a positive experience. I did not eat lunch and ended up going to Qdoba afterward. The food pans were empty, it took 25 minutes after our arrival for them to fill the Biryani and Naan. They had no Tamarind option, which is unheard of at Indian buffets. They brought out warm tap water and offered no other drink option. We are in America, 90% of people want ice for their drink!!!! We asked for ice and were given 2 meager cups for 5 people to share. According to my friends, the food was just meh. MANY people came back with empty plates on their second trip to the buffet. Some people just left, as you could just tell it wasn't going to be a good time. Due to lack of food and general setvice, they missed out on a great opportunity to wow their clients and set themselves up for word of mouth new business and repeat visits from those in attendance. I will not come back. Save yourself from an empty belly and go to Doaba in Powell. TheIr buffet is incredible, with tons of choices. read more

I had an initial visit at lunch time to learn about Dosa and was welcomed warmly, the server explained how Dosa are commonly eaten and then I just dove into the most delicious crispy/moist (it sounds like I am contradicting myself- right?) enormous pancakes with flavorful chutney and potatoes masala.
