was unsure what lemonade to get but the worker( david) was very kind and recommended me the kumquat lemonade. They should pay the person more they were extremely friendly and nice.

Rosemary fries $5.25

Interesting layout in that their sandwich menu is on the opposite side of the seating area from the cafe menu. Super fast service - I ordered rosemary fries ($5.25) and got my order within 2 minutes! Sadly, by the time I sat down, the fries had cooled down. The seating area is huge with lots of natural lighting, but it might be difficult to find a spot to sit. The short benchlike tables along the window are next to wall outlets. I wouldn't say Clover is the most student budget friendly restaurant. Their menu is unique and tasty and definitely worth trying, but on the rather expensive side despite the convenience. A cup of coffee is super strong but also over $3.

Loved this place near Harvard.. organic and very unique we had soup and rosemary potatoes along with El Salvador coffee .. I love this place a lot and with many vegan options for my daughter.. I really commend Clover efforts is being environmentally conscientious.. the fact that everything handed to you is either biodegradable/compostable is completely awesome .. It is a busy place so if you are in extreme rush, go little bit earlier. This place serves Kosher food ,.

It's been years since I had Clover from one of their food trucks (that egg+eggplant sandwich left quite an impression!) and was excited to run across this new location while visiting a friend on the Harvard campus.  This location is on the bottom floor of the Harvard Science Center and replaces the cafeteria that used to be there.   I love the fresh taste and how filling the meal is (sometimes an issue with vegetarian options) - the sandwiches are huge and my sister commented that her chickpea fritter sandwich could have served as two small meals.  I opted for the mezze platter (a sampling of 4 of their side salads + hummus.. apparently they've gone through 60+ variations/iterations of hummus).  I love how colorful both options were! Like other locations, there is a large electronic menu posted in front listing the wait time for each item and self-serve sparkling, 42F, or 64F water! There is outdoor and indoor seating options but even during summer break (albeit during peak lunchtime) it was hard to find a seat for more than 2 people. Bonus: to-go packaging is compostable!

This isn't very hot at all but it packed full of flavor

It has the aspiring hipster aesthetic you find in many coffee shops in many cities. I say "aspiring" because it isn't quite there yet. It's a little rough around the edges and doesn't quite seem to have something that sets it apart. I was underwhelmed by the rosemary fries. They were greatly improved by adding their jalapeño oil. The other good looks good but I can't vouch for it. I was surprised by the coffee. It honestly looked too watered down when I got it. It doesn't taste watered down. It's got good flavor. I like that it's pour over -kudos for that. The space is very open and seems relatively clean and the staff are pretty neutral, neither rude or overtly friendly. I think this place is worth a try for those who are curious.

I love the chickpea fritter sandwich, but the seasonal Japanese sweet potato is tasty as well!

Would come back just for this cruller, and am willing to try their other items now that I know what they're capable of. ------ FOOD: 1. [MUST TRY] MAPLE CRULLER (5/5) As good as everyone says it is. The exterior is so satisfyingly crispy, but the interior has the exact right soft, eggy consistency that defines the cruller. The maple glaze is definitely very sweet, but somehow it actually works well with the fried dough such that it's not overpowering. Maple is their most popular flavor, but they also have other flavors and monthly specials to try. 2. DRIP COFFEE Perfectly fine drip coffee. The mugs they give you are smaller than their to-go cups, so probably opt for your coffee to-go, especially if you plan to go on a little stroll after accidentally eating 6 crullers for breakfast... ------ ENVIRONMENT / AMBIANCE: * A large, spacious cafe that had a NY, tiled environment mixed with a more laidback Tatte vibe * More seating inside than I thought there would be (though a mix of individual tables, a communal high top, counter seats by the window, and tables outside) * One design issue though is that the ordering counter is right at the front door, meaning there's actually very little space for the line and so on bad weather days, you might be caught waiting outdoors under the elements vs. indoors. I'm sure there are some days where the line naturally forms inside, but the way the space is designed does not make that easy

The interior gave me diner vibes - very laid back and comfortable. At 11:30 it was pretty much empty. It seems like most people get their food to go. Service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Tofused Banh Mi - tofu, pickled veg, basil, cilantro, and a fried egg on a brioche bun. Definitely not a traditional banh mi but very tasty nonetheless! The teriyaki-like glaze was a little sweet for me and I would have preferred some more spice to balance it out but all in all I was very happy with my visit here and would definitely come back.

Chocolate Croissant: A simple and straightforward croissant with a chocolate stick inside. Using dark chocolate prevented it from being too sweet, which is a plus. Right near Harvard cafe this is a very spacious cafe with lots of space to sit / work. They also have free wifi. I was here on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed! From students to uncles having business meetings (iykyk). I really was expecting for them to have some type of chai (Yemeni or some sort). But the only chai they had was Egyptian black tea or chai latte. I settled for a chai latte with coconut milk which came to around $6. This price is on par with the cafes in the area. The chai was very sweet and had a strong spice taste which tasted like it was made from a syrup. Not the best cup of tea. Their menu has a lot of items.
