Their cheese slice is so good. Gooey cheesey goodness. Open late. Favorite amongst students for late nite pizza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Old school, no frills.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love it here

Still have a great slice that is somewhat "affordable" at $5 a slice for the square slice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A few tables are available and the staff are friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All pizza slices are served on paper plates and they have red pepper and parm available at the counter to add to any slice! They take card but as usual, cash is highly preferred!

This was my first time trying Sicilian style pizza, and I don't know if it was because it was 1am, but it was really good. I got the sausage pizza, which had a soft, fluffy interior and a crispy bottom. The sauce was slightly sweet and pretty tomatoey. I would definitely come back again.

First time I heard of this place was on "Suits," so you know you gotta try it if it's that famous. Their Sicilian pies are soft, super fluffy interior, with a great crunch on their crust. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's tucked away in a little alleyway, with limited seating, although I expect lots of people to buy and go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] CASH ONLY (card has minimum purchase, or fee) 1 slice sausage ($5) - Not smothered in red sauce, which really brings out the delicious bouncy bread. It kind of reminded me of Souplantation's focaccia bread - Crust is super crispy, not too oily, and quite enjoyable to eat (unlike other crusts) - Pretty filling for 1 slice of pizza, would get again

Ordered a steak , onion, cheese. I like the quality other flat steak, they toast the roll, grill the onions and abundant onions ,They melt the provolone . A bit pricey for sub at 16.35 with the add on of onions to the 14.50 steak and cheese. Need to drop prices a bit as inflation prices need to adjust back down . 4.75 for pizza slice ; but no one shy buying and thick crust style and many options . I consider this one of my best steak and cheese spots as steak isn't chopped up.

Pinocchio's Pizza is a true institution in Harvard Square, a no-frills counter-serve spot that's been serving its famous Sicilian-style squares and regular slices since 1966. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's the kind of place that's almost always busy, packed with a mix of students, professors, and locals who've been coming for decades.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We found it crowded when we walked in, but the system is efficient. If you're just grabbing a slice, you can be in and out in a few minutes. If you order a whole pie, be prepared to wait a bit longer, which is why we, like many others, opted for the ready-to-go slices. We tried both styles. The regular cheese slice was good, nice, straightforward New York-style pizza with a balanced flavor. The Sicilian square, which is what they're most famous for, was alright but didn't quite hit the mark for us this time. It had a good flavor, but we found it to be light on the sauce and heavier on the dough than we expected, making it a bit dense. However, this could just be a personal preference.

I ordered a slice of pepperoni. This is what I got ‍ Staff was unfriendly. I will be sticking with Joe's in the future.

This is what I was given when I asked for a slice of pepperoni. Pretty lame in my opinion. And a little friendliness would go a long way. Perhaps business is so great that they don't feel the need. I only went because Joe's literally had a line out the door and decided to walk to Pinocchios instead. I was able to walk right up to the counter. In and out in less than 2 minutes.

It's been many years since I've had Pinocchio's and I forgot how great it is! I got two slices for just under $10. One corner slice and one center slice, both delicious, surprisingly crispy and full of toppings. The service was friendly and fast. This was a good reminder that I need to stop in more frequently!

Pinocchios is a Cambridge staple. Anytime is the right time! Staff could use a bit of extra kitchen space- but the Sicilian pies are fat and loaded. Delicious pizzapies. Review: 5

Very good. Flaky crunchy crust wity fresh toppings. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy interior with pictures of celebrities and students who have been there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is always great!

Came here with my family while visiting Harvard and we loved it! The subs and pizzas were all very good, big portions and good pricing. I would say the baked ziti was my least favorite but still wasn't bad. The service was a 10/10! Everybody there was so nice. Definitely a good spot for a quick lunch/dinner!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Quick pizza spot next to Harvard. Cute with all the lights and decor inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is quick. They take your order and head it up and hand it to you. They have many options but we opted for the Chicken Pesto and Pepperoni! The pizza is crispy which is nice but there is nothing really special about it. It was just a normal slice to me. Good for a quick snack if you're starving.

Went on a hot day recently to grab a couple of slices. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place has no a/c or fans - it was pretty brutal in there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The slices were average at best. Can't see myself returning.

Not much seating inside, but there is a local park where you can go and have a seat and enjoy lunch

Our waitress was knowledgeable and gave good food and wine recommendations from the menu. Our party really enjoyed the octopus as it was a tender bite with freshness coming from the peas/mint/cilantro. We also enjoyed the juicy meatballs with tomato sauce and again a hint of freshness and nuttiness coming from the pine nut pesto. We were not crazy about the striped bass crudo. It just seemed to fall flat flavor wise for me maybe not enough salt or acid to really counter balance the other fresh clean flavors in the dish. That being said it was not bad just underwhelming. The pizzas were great value price wise and the flavor combinations were unique but also worked well with one another. I liked how they didn't shy away from using spicy peppers on the Nduja pizza. The Fennel Sausage pizza had that fattiness from the sausage mixed with acidity from the cherry peppers and some creaminess/extra layer of flavor with the green garlic cream sauce. I somewhat wish the pizza bottom was baked slightly longer for a less floppy center but that's just personal preference. They clearly put a lot of effort into this pizza recipe. The only critique we would have is the service seemed a bit rushed. We would have enjoyed a bit more time between appetizers and the mains. Even the check came pretty shortly after we finished which would be understandable on a busy weekend night but this was a Tuesday evening and there seemed to be plenty of empty tables around us. Other than that would recommend for an elevated night out!

I got the after school snack cocktail which was very refreshing and paired nicely with the meal. We split the Bucatini Verde and it was so delicious. I couldn't even pinpoint the flavors I was eating but it was amazing. Fresh pasta and just really good flavor. We saw a dish online we wanted, but the server explained they use that pasta for different dishes and change out the sauce, so I'm glad I got to try it. We then split the Pepperoni + Vodka Sauce pizza which was good. I'll be honest I was a tad disappointed in the pizza. It was flavorful but I think I was expecting the same feeling I got when I had the pasta. It was good, but just that, good. Crust was a little burnt. I did love the vibes and pasta and it's definitely known in Cambridge for a good reason. I'd recommend a reservation if you'd like a table as it does fill up fast.

My go-tos are the mushroom pie and clam pie, both of which are super flavorful and made with high-quality ingredients. The service was poor from the start. The waitress told us we would be seated at the bar. She rolled her eyes and appeared visibly annoyed when I asked if it was okay that my sister was under 21. She said it was fine as long as we didn't order drinks, then seated us at the bar. We were only given drink menus. When the bartender came over to take our order, I had to ask for a food menu myself. Our seating was also uncomfortable. We were placed right next to the bar/server station. My sister got splashed when drinks were being opened, and servers repeatedly bumped into her chair while passing. We ordered the Carnivore pizza. The pizza itself was quite salty. The dough was decent, but not impressive. I kept trying to convince myself it was good, but it fell short. Pizza: 3/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Would I return? No. Overall, I was surprised by the 4.4 rating. My expectations were much higher based on the reviews.

Picked the Salsiccia pizza to split between us (and a poached pear and cannoli for dessert). First, the atmosphere is great! Inviting, with great views of Ball Square and the amazing pizza oven. The pizza arrived at the perfect temperature and quickly (we learned later that a pizza spends less than couple minutes in the oven due to how blisteringly hot it gets). Great flavor and composition to the pizza -- the sausage was extremely flavorful and there was just enough cheese. The dough is top notch, with just the right amount of chew! The poached pear and cannoli were excellent. Not too sweet with sufficient complexity. Very, very nice.
