We have been customers for several years. We use Ma Magoo's for gatherings so that every one can pick something they like and the choices are extensive. Tonight, we had a big gathering and we had an order we picked up. Everyone got their orders but we were missing one salad. We called and let them know. Ummmm....... I've lived so close to this place for years but didn't try it until recently. I tried the chicken tenders with the honey mustard (obv the star of the menu) and I questioned why it was so expensive. When the food came, I understood why bc there was soooo much food in the tray. Like 20 pieces of chicken and a bunch of fries!! Chicken was slightly bland, but I prefer it that way so I can dip it into sauces. I eventually tried the pizza and that was equally as delicious. The pizza goes all the way to the crust with a ton of cheese and toppings. Overall incredible fast food place!! Sizable fingers, but this style I call tenders, and tender they were. Crisp, but delicate, very much like fried clams, and the chicken underneath was tender and very moist. Good stuff with or without the dipping sauce. - Sauces: The honey mustard was smooth, slippery, sweet, and tangy. Very enjoyable. I also liked their Buffalo (more like straight Frank's) and Boom sauce (ranch with seasonings). - Fries: Very solid. Not sure if hand cut, but if they were frozen, they were unusually good. Lots of long pieces, and they tasted potatoey, not like industrial starch. - Coleslaw: Little to no vinegar, predominantly if not entirely mayo, but a thinned-down mayo, so not too heavy. I discovered this place through instagram reels and that it's accessible by train from my job. I ordered the chicken finger plate dinner. The tender exterior coating was crispy and well seasoned, and the inside was savory, juicy and tender. Fries came hot and stayed good even when cooled down and reheated. The platter is a bit pricey, but also plenty of food for two. We ordered it with half fries and half onion rings, and thought the onion rings tasted a bit better. So good! I Heard so much about this place and I'm so glad I finally got to visit. It's classic on the inside with a small amount of high top window seating if you want to dine in. The menu had way too many options and I was overwhelmed even though I already knew what I wanted. I got the infamous chicken tender sub drenched in honey mustard. It was so tasty! At first I wasn't sure how it would work but I figured it out. Heads up it is a big sub. They are especially known for delicious chicken tenders, either buffalo, or plain with honey mustard sauce. I can also say that their salads are fresh. Tuna subs are top notch and Calzones; Buffalo chicken and Spinach Feta Garlic are my favorite. Ever since I moved out of the Boston area all I kept telling my husband was that I wanted a tuna wrap the way they do it in Boston. I've tried so many places in the Midwest but none of them have this ... oomph that makes the tuna wraps here so darn good! Of course upon visiting the city my first stop had to be for a tuna wrap. Ma Magoo's did not just deliver this dream sandwich, it COOKED. This place ate and then I ate! This tuna wrap brought tears to my eyes as I salivated. I ordered a tray of chicken tenders for my daughter's 3rd birthday very last minute. I had less than 2 hours, called here and they said they could make it happen. They definitely came through. I had never been there before so it was random but the tenders were so fresh and so good. They came with honey mustard which was also delicious. Wow can't believe it took me so long to check out Ma Magoo's! Ma Magoo's has such an expansive menu with plenty of subs, wraps, pizzas, calzones, salads, etc. Everything sounds so good! We got the chicken finger sub with honey mustard and pastrami sub. Chicken finger sub was loaded with chicken tenders that were moist and crisp on the outside. The honey mustard drizzled all over is so good together. The medium size was enough to share between two. We got a large hot pastrami sub was delicious as well! We got it with grilled onions and cheese. It also comes with mustard. Super yums! Definitely can share between 2-3 people. Also tried the chicken parm sub with the homemade cutlet. (You need to ask for the cutlet otherwise it comes with chicken fingers). It was huge and delicious! Enough for 2 meals. I tried this place because of the good reviews. I had sort of low expectations because it seemed like the subs were known for volume but not as much for taste, but man, I was wrong. The honey mustard chicken tinder sub was, quite frankly, amazing. I dont know how they managed to get the chicken so crispy, but it was. And the sauce was flavorful but not overwhelmingly mustardy. I did feel ike the sub could have used a little something else, even if just for color, like chopped up red pepper or something. The medium sub was enough food for two average adults. Finally had famous chicken finger subs from Ma Magoo's! I tried Large honey mustard chicken finger sub and medium barbecue chicken finger sub with ranch sauce on top. The portion is so generous, large sub was as big as my arm, I couldn't believe it. Trust me, you won't be able to finish large sub with one seating. I have a pretty huge stomach and my stomach got so bloated that I couldn't move after finishing it. Quality of chicken finger is awesome though, they are crispy outside and soft inside, perfectly cooked. Now I know why this place is always so popular. Ma Magoo's is not close to me, but it's well worth the travel. The sub comes STUFFED with chicken fingers, too many to count. They are delicious white meat and still juicy inside. The breading isn't overpowering but it is crisp. Now the honest mustard is the real star of the show. I always order extra and let my sub drown in it. I believe they sell it in store and I'm tempted next time to buy a gallon of it. I've tried the pizza which is also good and the fried fish is quite delicious, but I'm always sold on the chicken fingers.
