BELIEVE THE MULITPLE NEGATIVE REVIEWS - STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! This company is one of the most unprofessional companies I've ever dealt with. Where do I start? On the day of my daughter's birthday party, it was pouring rain. Obviously very frustrating and not ideal for an outdoor party under a pavilion. My guests all stayed in their cars while I tried to see if I could move the party inside due to the weather. The start time for the entertainment was 1:00 pm. When they arrived, they called and said they would stay in their car for a few minutes until the rain let up. Then at 1:06 pm, I got a phone call from someone at the entertainment company demanding a mandatory tip because the party didn't start on time. Despite the contract saying that the tip was completely optional, I told him that I had planned to tip them regardless, so why was he suddenly badgering me about a mandatory tip at the start of the party? He said that we didn't start on time so they needed their tip or they wouldn't perform. When I reminded him that we were still within the start window, he agreed and hung up. He then called back 2 minutes later to say he spoke to "management" and the entertainers wouldn't start without their tip. I told him it was incredibly rude and unprofessional to be trying to extort a tip due to a rain delay when they had already been paid in full. Mind you, the tip was supposed to be $30 for the 2 entertainers at the party - I had actually planned to give each of them $50 cash. I went ahead and paid the tip because otherwise they said the entertainment would leaving - but I reiterated to the guy on the phone how horrible their customer service was, and told him I'd be leaving a negative review. Not to mention, despite me asking beforehand, the person playing Moana was an extremely pale freckle faced white women that slapped on an ill-fitting wig, dirty black and white sneakers, and didn't sing a single Moana song or even act like she had seen the movie. I really wish I had read these reviews before! Save yourself the time, energy and frustration - if you want a great party you should definitely book elsewhere!!! read more

I just wanted to say how extremely disappointed I was with their service yesterday for my daughters 2nd birthday. We had them scheduled for 5:30 but due to traffic, the clowns couldn't make it until 7pm. That was the time our party was supposed to be over. Granted the party was at my house not a venue, but we had guests come from far with young kids, on time when the party started. 7 kids had already left by the time the clowns arrived. I know traffic is out of their control, but I just feel like the planning could've been better in terms of distance or location from one party to the next and the placement of the clowns. When the clowns got to my house, they started right away but even so, I was extremely disappointed. The service was underwhelming. Though Skittles and Pickles both had great personalities and made the remaining kids laugh, the service was mediocre. I'm not sure if Skittles just started to learn how to face paint but that's what the art work looked like. It looked nothing like the art work on their website. Parents were literally asking their kids what they were supposed to be when she finished on their face. She was very sweet but we were left unimpressed with the face paint. Pickles was hilarious and I really enjoyed him but the kids balloons kept popping, almost as soon as they got them. The magic show was really cute and the Cotton candy was delicious and the kids did enjoy this part but there were no temporary tattoos, no bubble show, no interactive games as advertised. To top it all off, we were only compensated $40 for the extreme lateness! Because I really wanted the clown show, I accepted this low offer. Had I known that the performance would've been sub par (you have to pay before the service starts), I either would've fought for more compensation or just not wait for the late service. Again, I am extremely disappointed with Clowns.com. It's unfortunate because I really expected good things from what I saw on their website. read more

I sent this company a doctor's note to give evidence that I had the flu. They had already charged our card for the full amount. THE WORST! THIEVES! Absolute theft! They did not show for my daughters first birthday. The COO (John) said we "canceled" and that "we called off the party". When my wife and I asked to replay the phone conversation, they did and at no point were any of those words spoken of. When I explained that to the COO, he told me I should just submit a ticket. He flat out lied about the conversation and if we did not ask to replay the conversation he would of continued to try and use the excuse of us "cancelling" as a reason for not showing. The next day they offered us 50% credit, which is an absolute joke and would not even entertain the idea of a refund, even when they took our money and did NOT SHOW UP! This company is horrible. Every last worker, down to their COO are a bunch of Clowns. At least, they got the name of their business correct. Their customer service is horrible & unprofessional. They speak over you when you are trying to talk and do nothing but argue back with the customer. Their clowns & magicians did not show up to my daughter's 1st birthday. There are no managers to speak to on the weekends, so it leaves the customer at a loss for answers. When speaking with their COO we were told that we cancelled the entertainment & that we were also cancelling our party according to the voice recording. When told to play back the recording...nothing of the above was mentioned by us; the customers. We have spoken to multiple agents and each agent has given us the run around that they would be reviewing our request for a refund. Anytime we want answers, we've have to contact their company as not one of them has tried to reach out to us to resolve the issue. They're a bunch of thieves at this company & would never trust their service even if our issue was resolved at this point. tldr: Don't trust this company to do anything other than create chaos and disappointment at your event. This business is super-sketchy, there's a reason they don't take credit cards (they don't want the chargebacks). details: I booked Clowns.com for my son's 10th birthday party - bouncy house plus entertainment package. The drivers showed up with the wrong bouncy house just over 1 hour before his birthday party. We measured the courtyard again and - while the new bouncy house would make things tight - the dimensions on the website for the wrong bouncy house were small enough to fit in our building's back courtyard. The drivers refused to unload the wrong bouncy house and even give it a try, despite having seen us measure the back yard and prove that - if the website was correct - it should fit. At that point, it was 45 minutes until the birthday party. The drivers told us they'd spoken with "the office" and that the correct bouncy house could be delivered in 90 minutes. While a 1:15pm arrival was not ideal for a party that officially started at 12:30pm, it still could have worked. I reiterated my request for them to try inflating the wrong bouncy house they'd brought in error. They told me to call the main customer service line, which I did. I was shocked to learn several minutes later that the two delivery men had driven away, without even taking the wrong bouncy house off the truck and into our yard to make a good-faith attempt. Zero effort was made, even after we'd demonstrated that the back yard measured several feet more than the dimensions stated on the website. The office later told me that delivering the correct bouncy house was impossible. They also said it was impossible for the drivers to bring back the wrong bounce house (despite only ~15 minutes have passed since the drivers snuck out without saying they were leaving). So we had no bouncy house for my son't birthday. The clowns still showed up. The refund process was abysmal. Clowns.com required a detailed write up, despite the extensive day-of phone conversations. They then issued a refund that still would have had me pay taxes & tolls for a bouncy house that never got delivery - absolutely horrible! My position was that they should refund everything, as a free clown show would be the least they could do for creating so much disappointment at a child's birthday party and failing to do what I'd hired them to do. They refused, and only grudgingly refunded tolls & tax. This company takes zero pride in its work and no one should hire them. read more

The man yelled at my nephews and my daughter several times to sit down. There is a way to speak to children and he just doesn't have it. This is the second time I seen him. I hired entertainment from Clowns.com to go with the Sonic theme for my son's first birthday. They did not disappoint! Our entertainers were Alyssa V. & Julian. They were so friendly to everyone and were so much fun. I did not have many children (only about 8 that were really able to participate) and they managed to stretch it for 2 hours! It was my biggest worry because I thought I didn't have enough children to pass time. They really worked magic and entertained them the whole time. They did everything from face painting, to cotton candy, to balloon animals, to a character appearance, to games and music, and ended with a fun magic show with a live bunny. They allowed everyone to participate including adults in all activities. I would definitely hire them again for future parties! read more

Terrible experience with this company. They did not show up for my niece's birthday party due to what they claimed was a result of an internal issue with their systems, then offered to send the entertainment later in the day. They arrived very late, after the party was over. They entertained the birthday girl and 3 other children who were still at the house and the performance was okay, except for their very dirty costumes and materials. We made several attempts to speak to management about at least a partial refund and they would not provide customer service, instead sending the same canned email reply offering 20% off the next time we book. Eventually we were able to get a human being on the phone by contacting the sales department. This resulted in them saying the problem was resolved, they would not do anything further, and to stop calling. They take absolutely no pride in their work or services and we would hate for any other family to have the same experience. There are much better options than this awful company. read more

An awesome showing by Peter & Nikki. This was a crowd of 150+ adults and 50+ kids. Peter and Nikki just captivated the children and (adults too.) There was plenty of room at the venue and they managed to have all the children gather around while they entertained them. The children loved them and you could see them being totally captivated. They entertained trough out the entire party. For the record.. This had always been an adult evening out and this year the event was held on a Sunday afternoon and designed to be "kid friendly." Peter and Nikki certainly did what they were supposed to do which was to keep smile on the children's faces. I especially enjoyed watching the children with the face painting. Was nervous picking a clown/magician out for my daughters 1st birthday party as it was my 1st time hiring someone. So hard to choose with mixed reviews but decided to go with them as a coworker used them in the past with success. Let me say both jean and Tyler did a great job yesterday. They showed up early and got straight to entertaining the kids. They did great job with face painting and balloon animals. Didn't even complain when the kids popped some of the balloons and then requested another one. They showed up as Elsa and Kristoff and they stayed in character the whole time. Contracted them for their Halloween package and got nothing of the sort. I added a Spider-Man character to the package and his ill fitting costume made all my guests uncomfortable. The performers tried to make cotton candy in dirty equipment. Not to mention they carelessly spilled piles of sugar all over my residence and told me to mop it up as the kids and pregnant guests were slipping. In conclusion the performers refused to leave until I tipped them even though I didn't get the package I asked for and they left a mess including intentionally spilling sugar all over the steps as they left. read more
