So many People put their chairs up to save the slot & walk away for quite a while. And not just here & there. I've never seen it done as much as it was here. And that's saying something. The music was very loud but fun. It was definitely a vibe. I can see where some people go to just mingle & enjoy that. The bar was packed & seemed to be moving good. I just went for a night cap to end my Birthday. I went home with extra so yay for that lol. In the future I'll go during the early bird hours. SN: It might look smaller but there are 200+ more machines here than at the Caesars across the river.

The amenities are nice and there are complimentary water bottles in the fridge and coffee en suite. There unfortunately is not complimentary breakfast, but there is a la cart paid food as well as a 24/7 convenience kiosk. The parking lot is well lit, spacious, and there are plenty of security cameras and the occasional patrolling security/police officers (it is a casino after all). We had a lot of luggage in the car but felt fairly safe keeping it parked overnight. If you're passing through and looking for an option that won't break the bank and offers good peace of mind for safety, I recommend stopping here.

I was really shocked by the negative rating. Going into my trip, I was a bit irritated with the…read morehotel because they wouldn't let me modify my reservation to a group rate even though the rest of our team did. We got in late on a Friday night and could quickly tell there were a couple events being held. We were tired (close to midnight) but check in was a breeze. Staff very friendly. We picked self park. I drive an SUV and the low clearance was rather frightening but worked out just fine. Room was spacious, but the AC didn't work well at night. The view was beautiful. Amenity options for food and drink were great. Location was perfect. The only negative was an event being held resulted in fireworks at midnight. We had to be up at 5:30 the next morning so it was a bit much. (Gosh I sound old). Overall, I'd stay here again and again.

The hotel could have been a 4 or 5 but:…read more The TV set had no external connections, and not even a headphone jack, so there was no way to attach any of my hearing assistive devices. (I have stayed in over 50 hotels and this is the only one I have EVER encountered that had TVs with no available external connections.) Not only that, but the TV channel guide is incorrect. Like Channel 39 should have been COZI but came up as BRAVO. And several channels came up as unavailable. So not only couldn't I hear the TV, but I couldn't find the programs I wanted to watch, even with closed captions. When I arrived, the A/C was set at 66. The wall A/C - heater was efficient though and warmed up the room quickly (although it took a while to warm the shower area). And when I arrived and found the light switch, it turned on a dim night-light luminescent panel near the door. I had to feel around the room to find a lamp, and then feel around some more to find the switch. And there were only 2 lamps in the room near the beds, so working at the desk was nearly impossible after dark. Many of the aforementioned hotels welcome their guests with a free bottle or 2 of water. The Galt welcomes them with a $7 bottle of Smart Water which costs around $2.50 in stores. I couldn't find a luggage rack. All the other positive things others have mentioned are reasonably accurate, but I didn't use it's dining establishments. But the cold, dark, room welcoming me, and pretty much useless TV, and hardly any lighting were a disappointment. I've been in 2-Star hotels which were better.

Great professional staff and safety is their #1 priority. Located right in the city, just a short drive to get there. This is the most open cavern I have ever been in and you almost feel like you are in a dark warehouse, it's so big! No "tight" spaces of any kind. Heights might be your issue if that is a concern. If you have any climbing, repelling, spelunking, or exploring experience, this is a "walk in the park" for you. No experience is needed and they take care of everything. All you have to do is zip when you're told. Have fun! Shoutout to Bethany M., an excellent staff member.

Online booking mentions that it is a 2.5hr experience but with a smaller group of 8, it only took 1.5hr for all the zip lines. Overall a very fun experience and great with big groups! The Bad: Do not get the picture package!! The picture is taken at a standing platform after one of the zip lines, not an action shot!! The Ugly: It felt a little sketchy going down the barren hallway. It was a 5 min walk that felt like you were going through an industrial hallway and it just felt out of place to keep going if the signs were not there. On to my next adventure....

An usher approached and offered the option of a complimentary upgraded ticket closer to the stage, which was a nice surprise. Truly feel there are no bad seats in this venue and sometimes bring my small binoculars to see if I'm missing anything (typically I'm not), but usually just sit back and enjoy the great audio quality with no complaints. My only grievance is toward fellow seemingly entitled, self-absorbed, impolite patrons who arrive late for the shows, typically with phone flashlights turned on bright who clumsily attempt to find their seats. They seem oblivious to stomping over other patrons in their quest to access seats they had selected in the middle of the row, loudly talking, and flashing blinding lights around. Rude, Rude, RUDE. I wish theaters would institute holding patrons at the door for specific entry into the theater as a group, perhaps 15 minutes into the show. Also, if you're 30 minutes late to an only 1-hour show, it'd be nice if it was either denied entry or perhaps directed to the back rows of the venue. End of rant. :)

Everyone mentions the ceiling and the faces, which are incredible, but there are so many more details to take in: castle-like doors and faux fireplaces, tile work, angelic statues and a starry sky ceiling in the main theater. We had a gorgeous shower and bathroom, which I absolutely loved. We had a nice view. The minibar was well-stocked, though we did not partake. I would appreciate a few more wall hooks, but that's my general pet peeve at most hotels. The location is great--very convenient and walkable. Plus, you can't beat being attached to Falls City Market. There are restaurants, stores, and bars in the hotel, along with the market, which is really helpful. The lobby bar has great drinks and is very relaxing. We ordered breakfast via room service and enjoyed our pancakes, chicken and waffles, and coffee. However, the walls are thin and other visitors lacked proper home training, so that somewhat impacted our stay. Also, the climate control system is loud and did not work properly, as I could not get comfortable and the room was humid. I'm guessing this hotel is very old, due to the poor climate control, and worn chairs and carpeting in the room. The room is great but the furniture and accessories need updating. While Louisville is remiss in truly upscale lodging option, we overall enjoyed the stay and would absolutely stay at the Omni again.
