Not what it used to be but still better than nothing. Ive been coming here since 2012. I will admit they have good Ceasar salads. They dont have the salad bar anymore but you are able to sit inside again. They do give a lot of food. read more

I've been a Club MuROCK devotee for over ten years now. Back in 2008, I was merely a single lieutenant all alone at my first duty station, but I felt right at home the minute I met Heather, the best bartender next to Florence Lowe "Pancho" Barnes. Heather has met everyone in my family from my dad to my husband to my in-laws. She is absolutely amazing. If I could give her a commendation medal, I would. She is friendly, efficient, and she remembers your drink preference! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. Fast forward 10 years and things are still muROCKin' here--the menu has improved and the service is still as great as ever. Zach (hope I spelled that right) is awesome. You'll meet him if you sit in the bar at lunchtime, where he takes your order and doesn't have to write anything down. He's funny and personable and when my inner klutz managed to come out and gloriously rain french fries all over the booth, he was right there to help me! (Yes, I talk with my hands, hahaha. And I swear I was not drinking...yet.) On another occasion, I needed a quiet place to sit for a work project and he graciously hooked me up. He also deserves an award! I was a Club member for a while, but honestly, unless you live on base or come here frequently, there's really no point in spending $15 a month. The occasional perks were nice, but I found I just didn't make it here as much as I would have liked. One perk that was fabulous, however, was when I needed to borrow about 30 wine glasses for a promotion party, I was able to "rent" them for free! Another nice perk is free coffee, which is great after morning PT in the desert. I've been here for Roll Calls, crud tournaments, First Fridays, parties (happy and sad ones), karaoke, game nights, graduations and other special events, and office lunches. Don't believe what anyone says--the Club is still the heart and soul of Edwards and I hope it stays that way forever, particularly to honor Pancho's memory. It's alright. If you come before 11:30 it's not busy. The burger is pretty flavorless. There is a (whatever they have that day) soup and salad bar and a pretty limited menu. The two best things I have had were the hot wings (you really have to emphasize that you want them tossed in the sauce if that's how you eat them) and the BLT. Normal bases have really good clubs where you can go get a steak, hang out, and have fun. This is not a normal club. Their lunch is ok but leaves much to be desired. It's ok for basics but is nothing special. Their salad bar is pretty good and on the occasion their meat loaf is edible. Night dining leaves much to be desired and their menu stays pretty much the same. I wish they would have a stark room for dinner or something more upscale like other clubs I have been too. This place is pretty overpriced for sub-par food. It's crazy busy during rush hour lunch and everything is pretty much self serve. They used to have sweet tea, but replaced it with a machine that has tea made from concentrate, which really bummed me out. They do have a decent coffee/hot tea selection , but that's not really good for lunch. Basically, I only come here to have a sit down lunch that isn't in the food court. Don't come here if you are looking for a meal that matches the prices. Or a quick lunch. Or sweet tea. Oh, and they changed their steak to some crazy choice of cut that I've never seen for steak and is always either over cooked or undercooked. So if you like it will done or super rare, you have a fifty/fifty chance of at least getting it cooked right even if it is still a bad cut. read more

A long time ago Club Muroc was the Edwards Officer's Club. Now it's a combined officer/enlisted club, but some of the traditions, like steak on Fridays still hang on. The food here is pretty good. Nonmembers can eat here--members get a special, faster line for ordering. You order at the register and they bring it out to you. You can sit in the dining room or Fogleman's lounge. In the lounge, they have TVs going all the time. The dining room is a little quieter. Sometimes they have problems getting food out quickly. For example, on our last trip after 30 minutes our food still hadn't arrived. I complained. We got the food within a few minutes. But they made it better by giving us a coupon for $10 off during the next month. My favorite item is the spicy chicken wrap. Otherwise, the spicy chicken sandwich is pretty good, as is the tri-tip they serve on Thursday. A lot of people like the "tempura" chicken, which actually has a thick, beer-batter kind of coating on it. The Friday steak is so-so--it's always cooked medium, even if you request rare. If you want steak, be sure to get to the club early because they fill up. The best place to sit is in one of the round-table booths on the east side of the dining room--a carry over from the old days of it being the base officer's club. They're pretty well insulated for sound. Finally, a packed parking lot doesn't always mean the place is packed. Anytime they have an event going on, the lot is full, but the dining room isn't. read more

I give this establishment a 2.5. Great friendly service. I ordered the calif club. Nice looking sandwich, good Mayo, Swiss, ham and turkey tasted blah like cheap meat. You also get bacon and avacado on it, ok tasting. Fries are yummy, pickle tastes good. Comes with a drink for $11.00. Other people's salads look yummy and good size. If I ordered something else I'd probably go to 3 stars. read more

Terrible hours, overpriced food. I'm giving it two stars for the cleanliness if the club. The missing stars are because of pricing, hours of operation, location and club discounts. Club members should receive a minimum of 10% discount on all purchases. Hours of operation should be open until late, to allow the dormitory residents a little variety at night. The location of the club is so far away from all the airmen, that there isn't any chance that they will go. 50% business lost right there. 412 services needs to reevaluate quality of service to Active Duty members and club members. Take a lesson from the other services squadrons throughout the Air Force. I'm sure you can branch out and learn how to make money and give back to the community. read more

Wait staff is friendly, but service is consistently very, very, VERY slow. It takes about 30-40 minutes for the food to come out and this is when it isn't even very busy. Have had to ask multiple times to have food boxes to go while waiting in the dining area because there isn't enough time to sit and eat lunch because it takes so long to get two meals to the table in a decent time. If you have 1.5-2 hours to eat lunch then go for it, but even then you shouldn't have to wait that long for your food. I won't be back. read more

Food is decent but the menu is small and the hours are terrible. For being the only sit down place to eat on base you'd think it would be open better hours. However, the pancakes are some of my favorites and the staff is overall very nice and usually attentive. read more

Club Moroc is good food and affordable. Not many choices on Edwards AFB so this has got to be one of the best choices.

Been here since the late 90's. Club Muroc used to be a normal base club with pretty good food and the one sit-down restaurant that one could go to without having to drive 45 min to Lancaster or Palmdale. Not anymore. It's a glorified, overpriced chow-hall where one is handed a buzzer to pick up their own food at a counter, drinks at a soda machine (maybe like 5 choices), find your own silverware, and even take your own food tray to the trash/tray location when you're done. The food is sub-par and very hit or miss. Sometimes the wings are decent, sometimes they are more like dried pigeon legs. The last time I had their salad bar, I was violently ill within a few hours. The staff can be friendly at times, so I guess there's that. Honestly, the chow hall is a hundred times better (and cheaper!) Unfortunately, we are pretty much stuck with it as it's about the only place that orgs use for "official" lunches or ceremonies where eatable things are involved (not palatable). read more

I eat breakfast here when staying at base lodging. It would be nice to have a larger and healthier range of options other than oversized omelets. Basics like fruit, oatmeal, and a la carte items such as single pieces of toast (instead of the only option of 2 slices) would help those trying to eat a healthy lifestyle. read more

The club has gotten a lot better. They just remodeled and are now better than ever. A few days ago I had a taco salad at lunch and it was quite good. The bar area is nice and the main bartender (I think she's Korean?) is friendly and is a great bartender. I really wish they would have the bar open on Saturdays. There is also a pool here that's open in the summer and they have a lot of events monthly as well. read more

I have been going to the club for a while and in the past the food has always been "Crap" and overpriced, but you know me I just keep going back. I like the punishment. But now they have seemed to have cleaned up their act. The wings that I had were really good, served with sauce on the side. My daughter had a grilled cheese w/ fries and she said that it was good and she ate it all. The bar is very nice and friendly, fair selection of beers on tap. There is a new guy in there and he seems very friendly. They have Sunday ticket and a pool for summer time, which is a plus. read more

As previously stated by others, the price doesn't match the meal, especially for on base. And the chicken thighs and rice they serve isn't even close to bulgogi... I was moderately displeased with the dinner. read more
