We stopped to charge the car. They were closed inside so we went through the drive through then ate while parked and charging. I got the chicken sandwich. The chicken was amazing. I had been wanting to try this place after I saw them featured on Instagram. I live fairly close by so I finally decided to try them out the other day. Let me tell you this place did not disappoint. When you walk in, the employees greet you with a smile. It was so cute and organized and clean. We proceeded to order our food and we sat down. The ladies here are great they brought out the food to our table. The burger was so huge and super flavorful. Had my fries with some ranch and loved that they had yellow chilies. I heard good things about this place so I decided to check this place out. I placed an online order and I drove 15 min to get there. when I get there the worker tells me that the receipt didn't print on their end so she has to start marking the order at that moment. I wasn't upset because I know mistakes can happen. So I still waited even tho I had placed an online order. When I get my order, I then drive home to find out one of my burritos is missing. And one of our burritos had little to no sour cream. I called the restaurant which they told me to call a third party. The call took like 15 minutes all to see if I can "qualify" for a refund. And even though that call took 15 minutes I had to wait till the next day to see if I can get a refund or any type of reimbursement. They offered me a freaking taco, A FREAKIN TACO. And what I ordered was a burrito. They can't even reimburse me the right item ??? I wasted so much time there and on the phone it's not even funny. My experience was just terrible here. In the past I would always purchase the 3 street taco meal and the tacos were fresh, tasty and a drink was included from the Lancaster restaurant. Today I went and was hugely disappointed as the chicken taste as if it was left over from another day and had no charbroil favor. I was also told that a drink was not included and made to feel as if it had never included in past. I know what I previously experienced and the person that waited on me was not pleasant. I also have experienced a negative response from the Workz in Mojave. I asked for the manager and a woman reluctantly said that she was the manager. The "so called manager" hung up on me when I asked for the Corporate office information. When I called right back she would not pickup. Very poor business practice. This place is awesome! I had the pastrami sandwich a couple times. Then I changed gears and had the pastrami fries which had chili on them as well...WOW! Those were delicious. And the small is enough to feed a family. It was huge. Lastly, before I went back home (TN.) I tried the pastrami burrito. It was SO good I had it two days in a row. Holy smokes. If you have a bottomless gut, this place is for you. Portion sizes are share-worthy. The service is great. I got the skillet with country potatoes. The potatoes were really good. Soft but also fried nicely. The eggs were cooked right but ask for sunny side or over easy because the skillets come with scrambled eggs by default. This is a must try. I used to stop when this was Primos and most always got their chicken gyro pita with tzatziki sauce. I noticed the place changed hands so we thought we'd try it. Sad to say my old fave was not on the menu, but they have other good choices. Got two chicken clubs with one order of fries to split. The sandwiches were good and the fries crispy and tasty. The service was excellent and fast. I noticed the new owners (they also have a place in Lancaster) have one upgrades. It's very clean and has new landscaping. My husband noticed several charging station next door which must come in handy for travelers going through Mojave. So my daughter ordered chicken and waffles from the workz. But with the name like The workz they probably make a little bit of everything .I didn't know they even sold chicken and waffles. Her meal came with two large round fluffy waffles and around four pieces of chicken that was fried to perfection. Everything was delicious but she said she enjoyed the waffles more. I'm a pescatarian and only eat seafood but I did try the waffles and they were scrumptious. All in all it was worth the $16 and enough to share. read more

Placed a to-go breakfast order at 8:47 AM. I ordered a steak, sunny side up egg, and cheese sandwich and a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on sourdough with home fries. I arrive home and the steak sub has copious amounts of tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, and no cheese. I call the restaurant at 9:11 and they say bring it back and they will remake it. On suspicion I check the other sandwich. Same thing. My BF finally comes back at 9:42 with the two sandwiches. They apparently told him that they wanted to put his sandwich together himself so they don't "mess it up". I wish I had pictures of the sandwiches from the first go around, but I am extremely livid at how long it took to get this pile of garbage. Please see photos. Also, the home fries were cold and hard and not palatable either. Look at the amount of egg they put on, and the sausage is only on one side, just egg on the other. And also- no cheese!!!
