This is still one of the best places to get a meal while charging my Tesla. It is also very popular with the locals and the ordering desk is quite busy as well as the drive-thru. The mushroom swiss burger I ordered was huge and incredibly flavorful and super juicy. The fries were are very good. They have an extensive menu and it would take multiple trips to try other items. I do recommend they make permanent fixes to their booth seats as duct tape does not really work. A nice dining area will make it better. read more

Yum! We ordered the sausage burrito on Grubhub on our way up north and it was surprisingly good! The breakfast burrito was better than most down in LA. The three stars are for the great customer service and how quick it is for when you are on the go. The $18 burrito was a rip off, It didn't come with a drink or side. What a great spot! All the food I've tried over the years here has been pretty good. Hot and fresh. Pretty big menu selection and they have good milk shakes and root beer floats. Burgers are pretty big. I'd recommend the chicken and waffles here. Also the pancakes are fantastic! Service is usually pretty good. Friendly staff. Two bathrooms outside and easy parking. We visited the Red Rock Canyon State Park on memorial weekend and we stayed at the area near highway 14 and CA-58, this restaurant is the only one that has everything we wanted, simple dinner after a long day driving and exploring. This restaurant is a self serve restaurant, you order and pickup your food and bust your own table. Quite convenient and quick. It serves breakfast all day and I wanted some pancakes and eggs. The works breakfast $14 has everything and huge portions. My wife had a works burger that she said it was the best one, and she only eats in-and-out LOL. The burger is big and really feed both of us with everything on it, even avocado. My breakfast plate has pancakes that so fluffy my wife ate them all. The hash brown was so good, I haven't had this for a long time. Sausages, ham, bacon cooked perfectly. Scrambled eggs is excellent too. The only thing we wished the batter was better is the onion rings, it's tastless although the onion is sweet. Regardless, It's amazing restaurant. On our way up to June Lake we stopped here to have lunch. Kids had the burgers and chicken tenders from the kids menu, we also had a regular burger and I had the BLT with the garden salad. Food was good, my salad greens were a little brown looked like they had been chopped for a couple days. But overall the food was decent, nothing spectacular. We didn't eat there but the interior is simple and clean. Staff was super nice and the food was out very quickly. If you're heading to Vegas and passing through Mojave this is the best burger in town. "The Workz Burger" comes with two 1/4 pound patties, cheeses, tomatoes, onions, and avocado. I can't quite recall if it had bacon but I do remember just how good it was. I was in such a rush that I did not have time to take any pictures but know that it was a massive burger both in size and flavor. It reminded me of the old drive through places that were very popular when I was young ( think like a foster freeze or the old A&W restaurants from years ago with more modern look and fresher food. A typical drive through restaurant with walk up counter service that is friendly and professional. The interior offers a variety of tables and chairs, similiar to a taco bell or wendys feel. After giving the menu board a ince over I opted for three eggs over medium with bacon, crispy hashbrowns, a shortatack of platesize pancakes, with a strong cup of coffee. The food was prepared quickly and served to order piping hot. The cook staff here are hustling, it wasn't 5-6 minutes and my food number was called. Plates are reuseable but plastic utensils? seems odd but okay. The eggs were cooked medium and the bacon was done well, the hash browns were crunchy and also good, the pancakes had a nice texture and consistency and again also good. This place can't be beat! Excellent value, quick service, and great food! We've been eating at the Workz in Mojave for a number of years. Unfortunately we only stop here on our way from the San Fernado Valley to Mammoth, which is "only" 8 to 10 times a year. Almost always stopping for breakfast. Very convenient with Tesla Superchargers now within steps of their door. (up until a couple of years ago we "had to" walk about 100 yards. Still very close!) Bathrooms are always clean. We always see hard working construction and utility workers eating here. No wonder because of the tremendous value and quality plus you could easily order your food and eat in less than a 30 minute break! read more

I'm a breakfast traditionalist so I ordered eggs, hash browns, bacon sausage and a waffle. The service was prime and quick. If it wasn't so far I'd definitely be a regular.
