Its a love hate relationship with this place. There is one lady who is amazing and another who does your nail like with anger. My mom went to go remove her acrylics and the lady literally yanked a nail off. My mom told her to stop bc it hurt really bad so she left and laughed at my mom. This is why she sticks to her usual. Used to go here all the time for my pedicures. The last few times I've gone haven't been the best, but this most recent time was most disappointing. The pedicure was alright, but when it came to polish I asked for gel. There were at least 5 layers of gel polish on my nails and not even two days later the polish on a few of my toes just fell/peeled off. I will not be going here again :( read more

My mom wanted a pedicure and she went first and she said it went great. Moving on to me, I was next and I sat in the chair and asked the lady if she can do a soak off because I was going to do a different shape and I had coffin on and the person that did my nails before had my nails lookin crooked so I wanted fresh nails but this lady didn't want to do it. This nails shop has been in Av for way to long. I ran in here for a quick pedicure because I had been here before years ago. When I walked in they were fast to get me in the chair BUT this place has a lot of problem! It's run down really bad, there is no vibe no spa mood going. It's just weird silent and the ladies are talking about the people in here. They literally have a AC unit in the front. The waiting chairs are all beat up and push to one corner. The lady who did my feet was nice she was old she was doing an okay job. She was very tight on product she used on me. Felt the clean could have been better but it was okay wasn't mad because I came in just for that. When she was asking me if was regular or gel. I couldn't understand her I said what? She just hold up the box of polish. The other lady yelled over to me gel or regular and rolled her eyes. I told her something that was rude of her and she didn't have to roll her eyes. I wasn't yelling at the lady I said "what"in a soft tone. The owner if that who she is was rude! Than they start talking amongst themselves. Let me start by saying the actual pedicure was not bad. It was a little rushed but she did not do a bad job. HOWEVER this is what the paint job looks like. When she was putting the polish on I felt like she kept looking at me but when she was "done" is when I really got to look at them and this is horrible. Never Again! I went to this place because I was in desperate need of a fill. My regular nail tech. is out of town for a couple of weeks & I figured this place is near by & how bad could they screw up a simple fill? Well I sure found out! 1.The lady was super rough & careless when drilling & filling my nails, so much so that she cut me TWICE. The second time I complained & said I needed to wash my hands & she said "no I'm not done filling" I repeated "no I'm bleeding I need to wash my hands" & she just said oh ok then smacked the nail file on the table & said "bad file, bad file". How do u blame your tools instead of taking responsibility for your actions! Afterwards she just rushed through everything completely ignoring my cut finger. The final result was unevenly painted gel polish, fingers with stuck on polish & rough unfilled nails. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. To top it all off she took my payment & walked away without even trying to give me back my change. Do not ever go to this place for acrylic/gel nails. The environment was positive at first and the lady who did my nails was nice and funny. But the funniest part was the way my nails turned out. If Ashton Kutcher popped out and told me I was being punk'd I wouldn't have been surprised. My nails are lumpy and bumpy. One is not shiny at all. I asked for one rainbow nail and now it looks like tiny little people can play twister on my nail. I asked for coffin shape, and I think she misunderstood me. Maybe she thought I wanted nails so ugly that I'd want to die and be put in a coffin. When I asked for my nails to be fixed the staff refused and called me crazy. I took my 6 year old daughter with me and even she was unhappy with the polish job they gave her. She asked for one rainbow nail and when it came out ugly she told the nail artist that it didn't look like a rainbow because the colors were wrong. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ACRYLICS. if I could give this place no stars I would. as soon as I got there I asked for coffin but the lady gave me some weird hybrid or coffin and stilleto? definitely not the shape I asked for. Then I had to continuously tell the lady to fix the crookedness of my nails. She ended up filing them down so much because of how many times I had to tell her a nail was slanted. She seemed annoyed and told me to "calm down", even though I was more than calm. Along with that she somehow got the glue all over my fingers and it was uncomfortable to say the least. If I could give zero stars I would. For one the lady who was doing my pedicure she cut me and I started bleeding and she would wipe my blood off with that blue towel which I hope they threw away, since my blood was on it. I got a french tip pedicure and it was terrible. Very rushed and uneven and it burned when she reached the toe that she cut. Each time I come here it's never consistent work. Home boy cut my freakn finger and instead of wiping off the blood, he kept using the nail polish over it so it's possible my blood is in one of those bottles. 3. I have been a faithful customer to club nail spa getting my nails done every 2-3 weeks for the past two years. And let me tell you, they are amazing. The nail techs here are sweet and listen to what you want. I use Nina, the owner, for my acrylics and she always does a fantastic job. Lena and Lynn are sweet and do great work as well. Prices are unbeatable for quality work. I love that there is never a wait when I come here like at Sunny's. I would make appointments with him and come on time and still ended up waiting an hour to be serviced. Came here because one of my friends said they didn't a good job. Wouldn't recommend this place one bit, as soon as you walk in it's dirty and gloomy we were waiting for an hour and a half. There were no other costumers, the ladies were just sitting around. I asked for a pedicure with massage didn't get any of that. The lady cut both my toes. She walked away halfway through and left me sitting there for 20 minutes. She clearly didn't want to be there nonetheless be working on me. When I went to the chair to get my full set the lady was rushing through, she burned 3 of my nails with the machine the nails are not painted well at all it looks like I painted them. No one from the salon acknowledged or informed me of any delays or estimated time I would be next. I ask the first man how much longer. I should have looked at the reviews. They cut my nails way too short. I asked the man that did the pedicure to please not clip the side of my nail since I am prone to ingrowns. He says "ok" and proceeds to clip the nail. It took me a year to grow out the side of my nail from previous pedicures and not knowing better. So extremely frustrating. Of course I corrected him too late and he apologized but now I have to wait for it to grow out again. A paper towel was placed in between my toes before paint? And he was pinching the fat pad underneath my toes to paint them. The experience was odd and I'd laugh if he didn't just hack my nail off. Polish is lumpy and sloppy. I was skeptical about reviewing this place. After reading these reviews I am relieved I'm not just a picky person. First of all, I should call state board because they do a lot of unsanitary things. (Eg. After they finish applying acrylic they try to soak the brush in the bottle of monomer that they then pour the same monomer in a DIRTY dappin dish to do the next clients nails.) Do they know they're reusing SOILED monomer & monomer containers ? Or do they just not care about sanitation?! Wow. Second, yes so rude!! The older lady messed up my moms nails and in the middle of my mom getting her nails done 2 people. TWO. Came up to her and told her that they got their nails done by her a few days prior and now they're falling off. My mom wanted coffin nails and idk what that hell that was that she has on her nails, but coffin nails is not it. Then got mad when my mom told her a nail was crooked. Brought my mom in for a pedicure and unsatisfied with the level of service. The gentlemen that did our pedis were friendly and nice, but were completely unfocused on our pedis and honed in on the football game on tv. I paid extra for the hot rock massages which were terrible because the men were watching the game and barely touching us with the rock. It wasn't a massage at all. The guy who did my moms french tips dipped the brush tool in the acetone each time after touching her toes and I wondered how many other people had contaminated that bottle. I've been there several times and have had an ok experience. Went there yesterday, since my normal nail shop was too busy. My nails look like crap, the guy who did them, didn't really understand what I was trying to say, which is fine, but when I asked him to fix my nails, he just laughed and brushed it off. I will not be returning. And now I have to pay double at my regular shop to get them fixed. He knew he did a horrible job, he didn't even bother to ask for a tip when he ran my card. I tipped him anyway, because that's just how I am. I was very angry and he knew it. The majority of people who work there are rude, not all of them are tho.
