But the food was good. I ordered the shrimp with chimichurri and it tasted very well: the shrimp were very tasty and the chimichurri flavor came through very well, even if it didn't look like there was any chimichurri on it!! It was very yummy. On the other hand, ! I did not like that my martini was served in what looked like a whiskey glass- instead of a cool martini glass, but it tasted okay. Anyway: our group had plenty of time for some great conversation once we had finished eating since billing took so long! ;) So finally paying time came around, and then we were informed that they could not do individual checks. While this is not the only restaurant that cannot split bills by order, it was inconvenient. They did inform us that they could do 5 checks, so we had to figure it out... I did not have cash, and so I had to team up with one other lady to pay for her and she had to come up with the cash for her order and give that to me. This was not a good ending. Even at teaming up, so getting 5 checked for the table, it took a long while to get our checks. Again: the restaurant was maybe at 30% capacity, the bar area was deserted... I would hate to be here when full! So all in all the food was good, the service was polite but scattered, and the billing was very slow. Enjoy!

The fries were also good. My husband had a chicken sandwich. He opted for sautéed veggies. I knew he'd be eating some of my fries too. The veggies were very good. Just two tired adults escaping life for a couple hours. We walk in and immediately the place looked beautiful. Nice aesthetics, trendy vibe, dim lights, everybody dressed like they either own crypto or sell real estate in Brickell. I said okay this place got potential. Then the hostess sat me at the smallest table known to mankind. Ladies and gentlemen... I am 6'2. This table was built for borrowers from The Borrowers movie. My knees were touching the wall, the chair, the table, and possibly another dimension. I felt like I was serving detention for crimes I didn't commit. At one point I think my rib cage made eye contact with the candle. But I stayed positive because sometimes suffering leads to greatness. Jesus carried the cross. I carried cramped legs. I ordered the 14 oz ribeye medium well. The steak came out with three sauces like they were presenting evidence in court. This one is chimichurri. This one is peppercorn. This one is liquid mortgage payment. The steak itself was good. Tender, soft cut, flavorful enough... but not $110 dinner and hidden fees flavorful. Bao buns. Two sodas. And a random service fee that appeared out of nowhere like an unexpected tax from the Roman Empire.
