Let's talk about the location first. They're located in the heart of Weston, which is pretty central for us on the west side of Broward. I live in Miramar so it was a 12 minute drive and my sister met me there from sunrise and took her about the same amount of time. This place is beautiful, inside and out. There is patio seating, which is where we sat for happy hour. I went inside to use the restroom and was impressed by the decor and size of this place. Very beautiful and very clean. I didn't order food, but did order mojitos on happy hour. They are known for their Negroni's so I tried my husband's and it was delicious! I'll be getting that next time. Prices are pretty reasonable and comparable to other similar spots. I'll definitely be back!

This is a nice spot in a great location in Weston. My husband and I came here for dinner. The service was okay. I feel like the waiter wasn't as attentive. We had to call out for a him twice when we needed something but it could be that it was a Friday night which is busy. We ordered the burger which was really good!

Great dinner for two last Saturday! Service was a little slow but not sure if due to an event they were a little short staff. Very lively ambiance but not too loud that you can't have a conversation. Food was great! Will return for sure. They have great happy hour specials if you are looking g for apps and drinks as well.

Came for Easter brunch, at first, it seemed hectic but everything was very well organized. The price is $35 for unlimited brunch, although it seems pricey for a buffet each station has something different to offer. From sushi, to salads, to breakfast options. For being Easter morning, the food was fresh and I constantly saw the employees switching out the food with fresher food. Very impressed with how well everything was handled and how fresh and tasty everything was. Our waitress wasn't as attentive as I would have liked. We had to ask for coffee and creamer multiple times, but given how busy everything was, she was doing the best she could. The music wasn't too loud where you couldn't hear the person next to you, but not too low either, the decor was a mixture of things which was suitable for the different food stations they have and lots of seating available. I will be coming back to this place.

We stopped in for happy hour and chose to sit at the bar for immediate service. Our order included two HH Pork Belly dishes, the HH Fried Burrata, an Italian Mojito, a Mediterranean Salad, Our Caesar Salad, and a Negroni Classico. The food was flavorful and well-prepared definitely the highlight of the visit. However, the service at the bar was disappointing, primarily due to the bartender, Pablo. He lacked friendliness, and when my drink accidentally spilled while still half full, and the glass broke, he cleaned it up without showing concern, or offering to remake it, or saying anything. Given that service plays a significant role in the dining experience, this aspect left a negative impression. While the food and drinks were great, the service brought the overall experience down to a 3-star rating. Improvement in hospitality would elevate this place significantly.

I enjoyed the baranzani and my enjoyed his pasta dish. I do recommend making reservations given it tends to get busy.

Fish was amazing! I had the baranzani and my husband had a pasta dish. We enjoyed our dinner. I recommend making reservations. It gets busy.

Impeccable service from my bartender Camillo ! I had a few special request and he was able to accommodate them all with wonderful service! The drinks were 11/10 & the food was as exceptional as always! Such a pleasure to enjoy the ambiance, delectable foods, and quality service all in one place!

Beautiful restaurant with a relaxing vibe. Lots of choices on the menu. Friendly servers. Delicious drinks! Tasty food!

Attractive atmosphere. However This is a dining establishment, not a nightclub -- yet the music was at a dance-club volume, with heavy bass that made normal conversation difficult. There is also no space to dance, so the volume felt unnecessary and out of place for a restaurant setting. Service needs improvement. Appetizer dishes were not cleared before the entrées arrived, leaving the table overcrowded with empty plates and food. We waited over five minutes for dishes to be cleared, and no one returned to check on us after the food was delivered. I had to flag down a staff member to request salt, bread, and extra napkins. Water service was inconsistent. Glasses were not refilled, and we had to pour our own water -- although a bottle was on the table. With the number of staff frequently passing by the table, it would not have been difficult for someone to notice what was needed or ask before walking away. On a positive note, the food portions were very generous, and the rock shrimp appetizer was excellent. I ordered the chicken parmesan and appreciated being able to substitute a salad for the potatoes. Unfortunately, table management was poor. I observed other diners moving used plates to nearby empty tables just to create space because tables were not being cleared promptly. Additionally, the ladies' restroom faucets are brass and visibly tarnished with green discoloration, which gives the appearance of poor maintenance and needs attention. Overall, the food shows promise, but music volume, service attentiveness, and basic upkeep need significant improvement to match a proper dining experience.

Went to Negroni on a Saturday night for the first time and it was perfect. It was not too crowded, we had a reservation but probably didn't need one. The Deadpool margarita was amazing. Excellent Hamachi Truffle Tiradito. I will definitely come back. I wish I could give 5 stars but the bathrooms were extremely dirty.

-- I would actually rate this as 3.5 stars overall. --…read more I've lived nearby for quite a while and didn't even know this place existed. It's tucked in the shopping center next to Publix and across from a school. It's in no way obvious from the street, and even the sign is obscured. The restaurant is kind of plain inside. Nothing about it stood out as being great. And they weren't too busy on a weekday at lunch time; that could be good or bad, I'm not sure. I think it's owned by a Venezuelan family, but it's definitely Japanese in its menu. And they have a whole vegan menu! That's pretty awesome. The waiter was very nice and fairly accommodating as we asked for a few things. We opted to go for the vegan menu, and because we were a party of 5, we took the 2 appetizer & 5 entrees option on the menu. The thing about it is that the entrees were all interesting and unique in some ways. They weren't regular sushi with some substitutions. They really made an effort. For the appetizers, we took the gyoza and the bao buns. The gyoza (5 in a serving) were very tasty and the bao buns were good but there were two to share with 5 people. We all got a taste but it was a little odd. It came with maple mustard, which was a great accompaniment, even with the other dishes. For the entrees, the standout was the ceviche. It was a clever use of fruits and vegetables in lime juice that certainly mimicked its fish counterpart. The "pizza" was interesting as they made use of the rice as a crispy base. The other three rolls we got had some nice textures and flavors, so we were happy with them. The reason I rounded down on the stars were two things: the atmosphere and the overall price point, which was a little bit on the high side for what you get. Otherwise, it was a good experience, and I would encourage anyone to check it out. Try the vegan menu, it's unique and pretty good.

There are so many options that we literally want to go back again and again. The portion sizes were good and the food was very flavorful. The Debbie Roll is very different than any other roll I've had and I loved it. I also ordered the Reef ceviche and it was excellent! The ambiance is nice as it's not too noisy, just right. And the service was very good as well, a big shout out to our server, Ivan!

New to the Country Isle Plaza on Weston Road, Kao is a sushi & ramen restaurant. I did think…read morethey'd have a little more raman choices on the menu, but today was our first visit and my daughter and I shared 3 rolls & my husband had a noodle dish. The decor is minimal, but nice. Service was friendly but with the restaurant being new to Weston it would have been nice to be told a little bit about the concept & maybe have some recommendations. While we were there, there was one other table & a to go order. We ordered spicy edamame to start. The presentation was pretty and the flavor was very good. My daughter had the miso soup. It had a nice amount of tofu, but she said it was a little saltier than she was used to, but she really enjoyed it. We shared the cream cheese roll (a little sweet and loved the texture of the nuts on top), the New York (standard salmon avocado & cream cheese) and the tiger roll (it had an interesting flavor due to the Tigre milk). The rolls each had unique flavors and we had plenty for my daughter to take home for next day's lunch. My husband had a noodle dish with chicken. He said the vegetables were cooked perfect and the bowl was filled with veggies and chicken. Most places you have to search for the veggies & protein, so my husband truly enjoyed it. They appear to have a bar, but sodas are served in cans and their was only pellagrino for soda water...so refills for drinks other than plain water incur additional charges. We ended with dessert. The 3 of us shared the chocolate ganache - which was basically a brownie sundae with a side of chocolate sauce. The brownie was good. It wasn't crazy sweet and we really enjoyed it. We enjoyed our food & look forward to trying some other menu items.

Kao Sushi & Ramen has potential, but it falls a bit short in some areas. The restaurant is cute,…read morebut the decor feels like something is missing--some wall art or added touches could really enhance the ambiance. For a ramen restaurant, I expected the ramen to be better; it didn't quite hit the mark. However, the volcano roll was phenomenal--highly recommend it! The bao buns were solid as well, making up for some of the shortcomings. The service was quick, likely because the restaurant wasn't busy, which was a plus. With some improved marketing and a few updates to the decor, I think this spot could attract a much larger crowd. I would definitely go back and try some different items from the menu.
