I have been wanting to try reformer pilates for a long time. I am so happy they offered a complimentary 30 minute intro class and my instructor was with Kayla. She was informative, helpful, and motivating. Brittany and the manager, Priscilla help me with sign up with the app, etc. It has been good but scheduling has been making it tricky for me to pick classes but the studio itself is in a busy location. For a new-comer I just watch others on setup of the reformer since there isnt always clear directions. But the entire exercise itself has been great. read more

I love Club Pilates. And when I say love, I mean LUHHHHHHHVE. But I didn't capital L-O-V-E love this location. It was located in a rundown strip mall that appeared unseemly for a Club Pilates, to be perfectly blunt. Also, the instructor's negative energy disguised as "fun" wasn't really my vibe at all. When you have to keep insisting that you're being fun, perhaps you're not being so successful at it. I'll try another instructor's class, but my one experience here doesn't exactly have me running back. I had the worst experience at this studio. I have been doing pilates through my pregnancy and no studio has ever escorted me out of a class. As a Fitness Instructor, I was shocked to be escorted out of class as it was already beginning and in my years of coaching I have never escorted a pregnant woman out of class despite how hard the class is. read more

Dimitrios is not only not helpful but rude I understand everyone has different teaching methods however he definitely targets certain people (especially if your new), not with the intent to help or adjust form but to ridicule. If you've ever wanted to feel like a majestic gazelle while simultaneously realizing you have the core strength of a wet spaghetti noodle, Club Pilates is the place for you. I waltzed in, ready to conquer the reformer like a Pilates god. Ten minutes later, I was reconsidering every life choice that had led me to this moment. Enter Johanna--the instructor, the legend, the woman who somehow convinced me that pain is just weakness leaving the body (or maybe it was my soul departing, TBD). She has the perfect balance of encouragement and "I know you can do better" side-eye that makes you want to impress her while questioning whether she's actually part drill sergeant. The class was an expertly choreographed symphony of stretching, sweating, and contemplating my own mortality. Muscles I didn't even know existed are now filing complaints. But somehow, between the shaky planks and "Are you kidding me?" core work, I felt... dare I say... stronger? Or at least less likely to cry the next time I have to lift my grocery bags. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I regret it the next day when my abs feel like they've been in a street fight? Also yes. But that's the price of greatness, my friends. So if you're looking for a workout that will humble you, energize you, and possibly make you reconsider how often you use your core (spoiler: it's all the time), book a class with Johanna. I love Club Pilates Fullerton!! It's amazing! The staff is great and the teachers knowledgeable. Many have over 20 years experience. I went years ago and stopped. I wish I hadn't. I can really feel a difference when I go consistently. Here are a few of my favorite teachers. Rhonda, Dimitri and Melinda. But honestly they're all good. Be aware they will turn you away for being just 2 min late and this is NOT disclosed under their policy/waiver or even on their website or social media. Mind you this was my first time here and I'm pregnant, so I was driving slower than usual being cautious as I tried to find the location in a parking lot that had common areas closed off. Us pregnant women are already dealing with bad symptoms, hormones, etc. and don't need this extra stress. The fact that not even letting them know that made them show an ounce of sympathy to allow me to stay is all I need to know. So disappointed. Please do better and at least update your policies stating the same like every other business does. I will be giving my business elsewhere. Edit: There was no requirement "clearly stated" in any confirmation nor was there an arrival policy, which is the entire reason for my review. I hope this business can learn from this and take action to fix that in order to improve their services, instead of overlooking someone's experience. read more

I've been going to Club Pilates for about a year in a different part of CA. Johanna was unlike any instructor I've had before. She was so calming, supportive, and hands-on. Her adjustments worked amazingly every time and she was able to describe what I needed to adjust in my body so accurately. It was like everything clicked into place. My first time at the in studio class, took the demo class with Kayla. I got to say it was a great class intro! 30 mins was definitely enough to get your body moving, my body was sore the next day which means that it was worth it! Visited the studio as a drop in, took a Flow 1. Front desk ladies (i remember Priscilla) were very nice and informative. Grip socks are REQUIRED for class. They have a huge selection of TOE grip socks. If you aren't a fan of the toes, you should be, grab a pair before coming into the studio. Awesome instructor- Rhonda? :( so good i forgot her name. Great class! Abs were on fire. Focused a lot on breath and control. 50 mins was not enough! Will be making my way back into the studio when I am in town. Studio was clean and bright. No wall separates the private training area or the class front the lobby area. Not really a fan of that, but the studio is fairly roomy. read more

After one year, I decided to leave. The main reason was that I didn't feel challenged enough and I didn't see any results while I was a member. It was also hard to find consistency within the instructors at this studio. Often times it felt as though some instructors weren't prepared while others were. There is a level 2 class but it's not open to everyone understandably. Secondly, it was difficult to book a class. Most had to be waitlisted and even after being on a waitlist, most of time I found it hard to get in. These two reasons made it hard to get a good workout. I would recommend it for older adults though. read more

First time trying reformer pilates and i loved it!! I've only ever done mat pilates bc I was too intimidated by reformer machines. But the instructor Kayla was SO great and made it so approachable and I immediately let my guard down! I didn't realize the instructor would actually showww you how to use the machine, and because there are springs in it its just like bouncing in a bounce house while laying on your back. You're like a buff ballerina building your thighs and core and legs and whole body, because you can adjust the tension. I will definitely be back. read more

Love this studio. I've been going here for the last 3 years and have the unlimited membership. Some classes get filled up quickly but if you're waitlisted 1-2, you will normally get in class. Lots of different times throughout the day to make sure you can make it work in your schedule. I've taken a few instructors. Kayla is great and has great ab and glute workouts. She will also give different spring recs in case you want to make it more challenging. Dimitrios has great energy and will keep things fun. Renee will get you sweaty and you'll shake in her workouts but they are so worth it. I think she only subs for Fullerton? But when she's there I will always try to take her! Overall the entire staff there is super friendly and makes sure you feel comfortable! read more
