Most of these reviews are outdated. There is a new gym owner TJ who has really made a great community here. The staff genuinely cares about you and your fitness goals and will help you achieve them. It's been getting newer equipment and is getting a remodel. Not your typical cold-hearted mega gym experience, come here, achieve results, meet and make new friends and have a good time doing it. I am still a member after four months. I see new faces, but not many. This is not a social scene so for those of you who wear your make up and splash on perfume when you go to the gym, please move on. Many of the reviews given are not an adequate representation of this gym. There's new owner/leadership in the gym that is not the same as what was written previously. I joined the gym as a part of their 6 week challenge, but I will continue being a member once the challenge is done as I've really enjoyed coming here. This gym is not a huge chain where the faces are unfamiliar or you feel like you're just another member. The trainers and other staff members take the time to get to know you, and it has a very supportive atmosphere. At any given time you can see people of all ages and abilities working out, and no one is made to feel as though they don't belong. The trainers have helped me to restart my fitness journey and have made the beginning as "easy" as possible. They are very knowledgable and don't mind answering whatever questions arise. I love Legend's Gym. It is a great gym. The best thing about the gym is the staff. They really do want to help you reach your goals. I joined as part of their 6 week challenge. Thanks to Brandi, Brittany, TJ and Emily I exceeded my goal for the 6 weeks. The trainers are real professionals. They have a program that can help anyone reach their fitness goals. I will continue my membership at Legend's because of the atmosphere there. Everyone from the staff to fellow members is very encouraging and complimentary. It is more like a family there. read more

Not happy at all about their contract. Basically you sign up by paying first and last months membership dues. Sounds simple enough. They also ask that you provide a 30 day notice as well.....which I did. They will however charge you an additional month while you're still inside of that 30 day window.....fine I can understand they want to make a creative way to still get some money from you. However the part that is crappy, is that you don't get prorated for those days within the 30 days. They charge the full amount regardless of when you give your 30 days. Mine just so happened to have been a couple of days after my last monthly dues. So I basically paid an additional family monthly dues after my decision to stop going to this gym. They'll sell you on the idea, "but sir you can still use the gym for the next 30 days after your last monthly payment".......who is going to use a gym once they've made a conscious decision to stop going? I will not be returning to this gym with policies in place like this, and I suggest you consider it as well before you enroll there. My situation could have been handled better by them prorating the amount, because that would have been the sensible thing to do. I guess keeping my small amount of money was worth it to them to have a negative review written on a website for their potential customers to see. I would be willing to edit my comment if I'm contacted by the gym to work things out. read more

Update: The new owner, having seen my posting, came to my boss and asked if he could apologize to me. He did apologize and I believe he means it, although I still find him rather gruff. I know a number of people who are very happy at his gym and he has made many improvements since purchasing it. I am not sure if I am willing to get a membership there again though...we will see. At least he apologized. read more

This gym has really improved with the new management! They have put a lot of work into updating the facility in a short amount of time and even added a supplement shop. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I really enjoy the classes they offer too. It's a good family friendly atmosphere!! read more
