I tried to go but they made it impossible. Each time I registered for a class, I was double charged but still couldn't book the class through the app or web site. CP charged me over $200 in a month even though I only ever took 2 classes ($35 each). They just kept charging my card. I emailed the silver spring location and the corporate office multiple times but they refused to refund the extra charges and even added a "late fee"!! They either didn't respond at all or would dismiss me and try to justify the charges (why would any business justify charging a customer$200 for a $35 single class???) I've never in my life witnessed a business turn away new customers like this. Horrible customer service and I'm still filing didoes with my credit card company. read more

I like the spacious layout of the Silver Spring Club Pilates and while the instructors are proficient, some are uncivil, egotistical and unwelcoming. When I needed to take an emergency medical call before the start of class (which I explained to the instructor), I was met with a disdainful stare and no empathy or query if everything was all right. I don't expect grandiose acknowledgments but for a practice that's based on breath and flow, some instructors have no idea how to give such energy or encouragement. read more

Between poor management (and excuses for such), staff turnover (leading to member turnover) and lack of responsiveness to concerns led me to terminate my annual membership after four years. Go to Riverdale Park. Go to Wheaton (which will open soon) or Bethesda. Go to Pure Barre. Just don't go here. read more

Enjoyed the 30 minute intro class. I learned a lot about the basics of Pilates. The studio is s but pricey $129 for one class week with restricted times new Pilates members can take class. Plus they stated it is $15 fee to freeze a membership since memberships are 3months minimum. read more

I shared my concerns with my membership via email to the owner for charging me a bogus $30 fee to use credits I already paid for. The owner never responded and I am extremely disappointed in the lack of support and care. Update.. Gave them a second chance and they did honor my appointment booked through class pass. Wow the reviews before me are looking very crazy lol but I can say from my personal experience that 1. Pilates is changing my life in the most healthiest way possible. I am able to move my body more then I have before and I can not only see it but I can also feel it. It is truly a game changer. The studio has been nothing but amazing. I am very much on the quiet side, I don't really talk or interact much because ~anxiety~ lol but they have always made me feel seen even in my quietness. I even have a person at the front desk who knows my name and when I come in she check me off for class like what?! Customer service 10/10 The instructors, ALL OF THEM ARE AMAZING! Each of them have their own skill set in what they do. If you want a laid-back more chill vibe class, Javier is your guy. If you want an intense and exercise focusing class that is going to push you a little, Marcia and Damon are your people. If you want a happy middle of both relax and a little intense Katherine, Debbie, and Misbah are your woman. (Again all my opinions lol) But each and everyone one of them bring that to the table which I like. I do wish there was more time availability in classes because I am a teacher so other classes aren't as available to me but again but that makes sense because of the amount of instructors they have, you don't want to over work them. So planning a head and picking classes to fit your schedule is best. (I'm a planner so being able to know my month of classes is nice) It is pricy, but it is worth it. read more

I got unlimited membership. Not worth it, bad customer service. Never pick up the phone, they don't care if you are sick or got Covid. You will be charged for any missed sessions even if you tested positive. They auto charge credit card, and you won't be able to change your billing info. read more

It took me a while to get in the rhythm of the policies and procedures at Club Pilates but now I'm so happy with the results. I have improved my bone density as well as my posture and strength since I began 2 1/2 years ago. I have an unlimited membership so I take 3-5 classes a week. I usually go to Javi's classes. He gives very clear instructions and is especially good at explaining how to adapt the exercises for weaker, beginner or injured students. read more

Very unprofessional! The staff is very nice in the beginning...... I signed up for unlimited classes membership. Big mistake!!! Can never get the class reservation you want, always full. The worst communication with the staff, they never answer phones or emails. I sent emails 2 months ago never answered, numerous phone calls never returned. But they do know how to charge your credit card! Then when you do get some one they say never received your emails and act clueless, with excuses of you have to give written 30 day notice (which is standard) but when you do they say, sorry never received it. I love most of the classes and most of the teachers but the rudest management around. They are constantly changing their rules on membership and fining you for made up infractions. They don't care if you have Covid, they will fine you for missing a class. Look at other reviews -- all state how terrible and rude the management is. Marcia in particular treats you like a child and lies to suit herself. They also have some inexperienced teachers that should not be teaching yet. Very displeased with the management staff and the regulations of this studio. If you are thinking of becoming a member, be sure to read all of the fine print and details because some are extremely unreasonable. They make you commit to a 3 month membership, and even after the 3 months they make it extremely difficult to cancel your membership. We are living in a COVID world right now and things come up and are not always stable, but they are extremely unaccommodating to this. The phone is also very rarely answered... The pilates instructors are mostly all very nice, but the manager is very unpleasant and made me feel less than because I was not paying for the premium membership. This place is such a rip off. My wife signed up for a month. At first, she was very excited to have a structured way to work on her fitness. She even met some friends. However, they will charge you for missing a class, and auto charge for an extra month, if you don't remember to cancel. You can still cancel but they charge $100 penalty. My wife went from being happy to depressed. Now she hates working out at public spaces. She has decided that home is better. Club Pilates has a bad business model. Very hard sell after intro class. No one answers phone or returns calls. The class schedules are booked weeks in advance with no chance to actually take classes. I would like learn more and to sign up, but I feel that if the customer service is this bad before I give them any money, it will only get worse after! i had a bad experience at this location. i do not recommend going here!!! i was five minutes late to my session (which is completely my fault) but the instructor was very rude and condescending. i have been charged a late fee and the instructor brought up the fact that i was late multiple times in front of the entire class. i got a good workout in but it is not worth the treatment i received. read more
