We signed up for the Salmon River rafting trip. The communication is beyond poor. We are spending…read moremore money on travel than the actual retreat. We paid for a hotel room to be able to make the early morning flight, to be able to make the "mandatory orientation" in Salmon the night before the retreat. We paid for an additional "package" to cover all flights and hotels from Boise to Boise. After sitting in the Jet Port for 3 hours we were able to find out that the orientation is not mandatory for us. After reviewing all materials, it is clear there is conflicting information and lack of ability to talk to anyone in a timely manner. Can't comment on the actual rafting trip.

I joined this studio (mostly for Pilates) last week and have been to at least one class daily since…read morethen. The classes with Pilates reformer machines are $30, so if I go more than twice per week, I'm better off paying the $240/month membership fee. They have punch cards for other classes (15 for $225). Each instructor so far has been helpful. They know how to push our limits without causing pain. Two have given me their business cards for personal sessions or to get questions answered. Nice. Melissa and Kevin at the front desk are friendly. The women's bathroom has two toilets and two showers. Looks like their childcare center is fantastic. Parking usually isn't a problem. The main reason I waited so long to join was because I wanted afternoon classes--not morning or night--but I've been able to find enough classes for my schedule. After I downloaded their app and the MINDBODY app, I've been able to schedule and pay for classes online. Even at midnight. I needed to reschedule a class that had extra payment, so hopefully I won't get charged twice. I've been happy with this studio so far. It's ridiculously close to my home. I thinks it's ironic that it's next to a good hamburger/ice cream diner where my youngest daughter worked for several years. I wonder how many people work out then eat back all the calories they just burned. Ha. Or the other way around--people feel guilty for eating so much then they go to a fitness class. The other members seem to be from all different fitness levels, so it isn't awkward for this newbie who was out of shape.

Hotworx I signed up for hotworx with the sweat everywhere…read morepass in May. I was sold on the sweat everywhere as opposed to the sweat here for the benefits of being able to use any location as well as the guest privileges which are listed in the agreement as "Members may bring as many guests as they would like for any one single visit; however, a particular guest may come no more than three times total in a 12 month period and not more than one time in one calendar month." I have used these privileges as multiple locations such as Millcreek/Holiday, Draper, and South Jordan with no issues. Today I brought two friends of mine to the new Daybreak location with me to workout. From the second we arrived, the general manager Tara had extreme attitude and was rude and condescending. She said we did not come early enough to bring guests since staff was leaving soon which has never been an issue as long as we arrived during staffed hours. Then she told me since both of my guests have come at least once before it would be a $20 cost EACH for them to workout, which again has never been an issue and is not stated in the policy. I brought up the policy and she told me it doesn't matter and each franchise can make up their own rules. She asked for my information to look me up to list as a referral for my friends and I spelled my name multiple times and she still got it wrong. She started saying things like are you sure you are a member and asking where I signed up. I told her I signed up in Millcreek and she told me that doesn't include any other location and I cannot workout. She assumed that I did not have a sweat everywhere pass and was rude about it. I had to tell her no I have the sweat everywhere and I do have access to all locations and spell my name at least two more times. When I again pushed the issue of the guest rules being different than the agreement and any other location I've visited her and another staff member started saying weird things such as what if a guy member brought in random guests and that it wasn't safe and we could be attacked. When we pointed out that her assuming we would be attacked by any male to enter is extremely weird and that we don't think that would happen, Tara stated she's worked at the Tooele location and has seen it happen. They kept stressing how it wouldn't be safe for us to be there especially if other men were in the building which was beyond odd and disturbing. We ended up leaving without any workout and feeling totally confused. Keep in mind that signing up for the sweat everywhere does not actually mean you have the same privileges at every location and also keep in mind that it is apparently not safe to be there after hours as it has happened that females have been attacked by males as well as they believe every male is the type to attack if given the opportunity.
