I hate to even have to do this but this has been the most unprofessional interaction I've ever had with club tattoo which is a shame as I've been going here since I was a teenager. We not only spend our money on tattoos here, but piercings and jewelry! I would also like to think I'm a good tipper cause I like to take care of people that take care of me. My daughter got her helix pierced here and the piercing was great. The piercer was great, but we invested an expensive piece of jewelry and the stone fell out. This was a minor frustration as stuff like this can happen, but unfortunately it was not communicated to us that they would have the jewelry for months. It was communicated to us that it would be weeks. They changed out my daughter's earring putting a non-gold earring in her ear, causing her ear to keloid. Upon calling the shop, they let me know that they didn't have any records of us, dropping off the jewelry. Again, a minor annoyance. But where the frustration begin is whoever the young lady was that took the call. I believe she said she was the shop manager. Argued with me up and down about the keloid accusing my daughter is not taking care of her piercing. I assured her that my daughter was taken care of for her piercing, that she did not have a keloid before changing the earring as well as keloiding is a common issue within minorities anybody with melanin that would come from changing the earring before the healing process. She insisted on arguing with me up and down and letting me know that this had nothing to do with the shop that their jewelry is body safe it was all about how we were taking care of the piercing and she went on and on. I let her know that I was the consumer and unfortunately, although she might be highly educated in some of these subjects, she does not know everything and if she doesn't have any melanin in her body, how could she possibly understand keloids and perhaps she should educate herself a little further on them. I told her I didn't wish to debacle with her anymore and if the shop director could just call me, I would appreciate it and I hung up. A few days later, the Director called me in which she was very nice very understanding and validated all my concerns. she told me that they were having an earring shipped to the shop to replace my daughter's. This was now at least 2-3 weeks ago, have not heard anything from the shop. I'm not getting return calls and still have no answers on where my daughter's expensive earring has gone or a replacement. It's super unfortunate because I really enjoy all the people at club tattoo. The piercers are amazing. The artists are amazing and quite honestly I've never had a bad interaction there up until this one. It's always very clean Smells great and is normally a 10 out of 10 experience unfortunately due to how unprofessional this experience has been I honestly am not sure if I will continue to use club tattoo. read more

I got a dermal 14 years ago and just went in to ask them what kind of metal they think it is cause I have to get an MRI soon. One girl was really nice but she couldn't answer what type of metal it was. So she asked the other girl, the other girl (the one with the piercings all over her face, including angel bites and snake bites) was pretty rude and did not seem to care or have time for me. When I asked her about how it would be removed, she directly told me that they would just "rip it out of my skin and it's pretty painful." There was about 4 people waiting that overheard and everyone's eyes got big and jaw dropped (even the other artist) when she said this. After hearing that, I obviously left. Then I looked it up, talk to a medical professional about it, and called other tattoo/piercing shops. They said that was extremely dangerous, would be painful, leave a scar and is completely unprofessional that they would suggest that way of removal! The other tattoo shops told me they remove it with a little tool where they gently scrape around it until the inner shoe part of the piercing pops out and it's pretty painless. I will never come back to this place. The way the woman was talking to me plus the inconsideration of yanking my piercing out of my skin is wild to me. I do not recommend this shop! read more

My cousin from Connecticut came in for a Memorial Tattoo after his girlfriend tragically passed away. He paid in full. Tony completed 1/2 the tattoo and Trystin has been trying to schedule the continuance to complete his Tattoo. He has been ignored & calls not returned for months now. The level of unprofessionalism astounds us. This was a tattoo to remember her by. Now he sits with a 1/2 complete tattoo and is out 1/2 his money too not to mention the bad memory he now has attached to the tattoo itself! Do better! Christina is a very cold and monotone piercer. I was very uncomfortable and felt unwelcome with my interaction and nose piercing with her. I recommend going the Tempe location! Very clean, and always polite and accommodating staff. Christina pressured me into a nose ring that sticks out when I specifically asked for a tight one. She then tells me no refunds after she puts it in and gives me the complete opposite of what I ask for. Then proceeds to tell me "maybe a hoop isn't for you." Wouldn't take accountability for her mistake! There was a smaller size but she told me she thinks I should do the bigger size, and then later on when I confront her and say that she told me to pick the bigger one, she claims that the smaller one wouldn't have fit. Amy at Club Tattoo is the only piercer I ever recommend to my friend's and anyone asking. She creates a fun and comfortable environment and does a very clean and quick piercing job. I have had three of my piercings done by Amy, including my nose twice, my conch and cartridge. My conch was actually a re-piercing from someone else's poor work and she was sure to be very careful of cartilage buildup or scaring. I have a love hate relationship with Club Tattoo. I love that it's a known name and you know you are going to be worked on by professionals in a clean environment. The professionals who are independent contractors are always awesome. However when Club Tattoo runs a special the promoters and the stores aren't on the same page. For instance every Valentine's day they do bogo free piercings, this year they did it, nowhere not in emails not in Social Media posts on any platform did it say you had to make an appointment, we called, scheduled with a note to please call us and then wound up calling again to be told you have to schedule an appointment for EACH piercing (ridiculous) and that they were making an exception for me, they also claimed it was on all the posts that you had to schedule an appointment, and that they don't read the messages sent with appointments(why have a comment box then?), also never received a return call to the voicemail. I double checked, there was 1 post with 5 people in it saying schedule an appointment, and imo it seemed to imply that all 5 people could get pierced during that appointment. Further on that I was told my jewelry was a set price but that's not accurate they actually charge for each piece so it's always more. I was expecting to walk out for around $120 ish since it was bogo and wound up paying $179 I like them and they're beautiful but it would be so much easier if when they said the nose piercing jewelry was $30 that the whole thing was $30 not an extra $12 for the post that attaches to the $30 stone you picked out, same with the daith I had $70 for the stones and $12 for the ring but I was just told $70. Plus it's also one of those things where you have to to have someone get a book and tell you the price of each one, rather then just be labeled. read more

The first time I came here it was Nov 2022 for my nose piercing. The piercer was absolutely wonderful. They recommended a place for me back home since I was visiting. Second time was most recently April 2024 and I met Christina! Absolutely incredible! Did my conch piercing and replaced my stud for my hoop jewelry! I brought my partner this time and they treated us beautifully by the staff up front. I've been to this place before and my experience was pretty good at the time but this time around I came in asking to be helped to remove a piercing that is causing me pain (and yes I do admit I did not got it done in this location ) but I've been trying to figure out how to take it off since it didn't heal properly I just wanted to be removed. They have all the tools and equipment to remove it without irritating my skins any more and the girl up front didn't even bother to ask for me after I told her I was in pain and just said "I don't think there's time " & " you can wait ... if you want " It would've taken 3-5 min max to help me out but this is how much this place cares and I was totally fine if I would've been charged I wanted to be relieved but couldn't even helped do that. read more

Not super impressed. The studio is immaculate. Spotless. So clean. Cleanest tattoo shop I've ever been in. The staff was meh. Whatever. They have you come in for a consultation. My appointment was scheduled a month out. Waited a couple weeks. No word from the artist. Emailed him. No word. DM'ed on Instagram. No word. Literally no word until the day of my appointment when I went in. I waited in the lonby. He picked up another appt so I had to wait. He didn't even remember who I was or what we had discussed. During the tattoo he left to go run an errand. Legit left me for 45 minutes chilling tattoo half done. Then rushed to get the rest of the tattoo done. Talked on the phone while tattooing. Chatted with another employee talking shit about stuff I shouldn't have been hearing. I'm not 100% happy with my tattoo. It's a shame. I had been recommended to him too. Saw the work.
