ATTENTION PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING HERE!!!! If I could give this a negative star, I would. After my mother in law was admitted to the hospital down the block, we came to this Cluck U to grab food for her, my parter, my mother in laws boyfriend and myself. In the process of ordering the food the gentleman from the back came up to look on the screen to see what we were ordering, I'm assuming to prepare the order. While looking at the screen, standing right in front of us he proceeded to cough in his hands and then wipe his sweaty face, returning to the kitchen without washing his hands, to prepare the order, touching the corn nuggets with his bare hands. My mother in law has cancer and a low white blood cell count, her body isn't strong enough to fight infection. This is completely unacceptable. After making the manager aware (he was the gentleman ringing us up) he took him to the back to have a conversation with him. The employee washed his hands, dried them and put on gloves. I still noticed the woman in the back not wearing gloves. Once the order was prepared, the gentleman from the kitchen brought it out to us, sarcastically telling us to have a good night. Once we arrived back to my mother in law, we realized one of the things we ordered wasn't in the bag. After all of that.... we called back to let him know the order wasn't completed and asked them to deliver the sandwich that was missing. His response was "our delivery driver is out on 8 deliveries and won't be able to deliver it" Frustrated, I asked to be refunded. His response, "you'd have to come in anyway, we don't do credit card refunds". Even more frustrated, I told him to keep the $8 and I wouldn't ever be returning to a Cluck U and will inform all of my family and friends to steer clear. The professionalism is non existent. Their procedure of assuring cleanliness, non existent. I wouldn't allow my dog to eat here after seeing how this was handled and the lack of care for my mothers in laws life. She didn't wind up eating the salad and the rest of the food went in the trash. Thanks Cluck you for a wasted $30 and leaving my sick mother in law (who finally had an appetite) with nothing to eat. I used to love ordering food from here. They always gave so many wings and the food was great. Tonight I ordered and the food took an hour and a half to deliver. I ordered 15 boneless wings and couldn't find 15 tenders in the order if i tried. Unless I counted the crumbs. Bummed because I used to always get large orders for parties from here. These guys have no idea how lucky they are that there are so few cheap options for a fast dinner for retail workers in Red Bank. They can never get an order completely right. Duck you chicken is the best damn wings I'vel ever blown a hole in my belly with. Those wings are so damn good you wind up eating more than you want to one then any human should what you have to do and you'll be happier for having done it. The food from this location is always good. Hot and fresh. The service is very friendly and prompt. I prefer it to the other Cluck u stores in the area. The only downside here is delivery times can be a long wait, 45mins to an hour. So if you live nearby and are in reasonable condition to drive, you're better off picking up your food. It's usually ready in 10-15 mins for smaller orders. And once in awhile the order has mistakes so it's best to double check it before leaving the store. But consistently great food and friendly staff easily trump the negatives. read more

Been coming to Cluck for as long as I can remember, but over the past couple years i've noticed some inconsistencies in quality. I don't normally write reviews and I want to make it clear i'm not trying to talk shit since all the guys behind the counter are good guys and I only want to see the business thrive. Today I ordered cheese fries and they always used to come in a styrofoam container, this time they came in a paper sack and were just a soggy mess, like come on guys lol. The other thing is sometimes the wings will have next to no sauce on them, to the point where i'll do a double take because I thought they were just naked wings or a dry rub. Then other times it'll be swimming in sauce (fine by me). Also sometimes they'll forget my blue cheese. Like I said before i'm not trying to talk shit or be knit-picky, but maybe more time should be spent on quality control than on making instagram videos (which are FUNNY AS HELL by the way) and I mean that in the nicest possible way. read more

Service here is always with a smile and served quickly. I think that I just got one of the worst value for money meals I have ever had. $9.60 for three stringy peices of chicken that took me three bites to finish. They had twice as much batter as chicken! When I called the restaurant to see what happened, the person on the phone said "You need to call the Eatontown branch ". When I asked "Why would I call the Eatontown branch?" The person on the phone said "We canceled your order, you're too far away". I live less than 3mikes away. When I asked "Why would you cancel my order and not even let me know?!" Cluck U Red Bank owns me. I have been obsessed with their wings for over a decade. I have never been disappointed with an order from here; it's always fresh, delicious, and bountiful. I recommend them constantly and continue to make trips there despite moving out of the area. My order is always ready fast and ahead of time. Delivery is speedy. There's usually bonus boneless wings in my order, and the chicken is nice - never weird, gristly, fatty or over-breaded. Cheese fries are da bomb. Cons: no celery, carrots or blue cheese dressing unless you order 10 wings of each hotness (or, presumably, ask for them and pay a separate charge). Click-U- Chicken is a late night treat, surprisingly they delivered to Middletown one night while I couldn't find anything else opened so I was really pleased with that, I needed help picking the perfect temperature for my large order of wings (over 40) and they helped me pick atomic which was perfect a very in between mild and hot, the staff was helpful and attentive ! Good food! However be careful about this particular location. I think they make up their own prices just to pull one over on customers. I have ordered here a few times and had to look over the menu prices every time they gave me a total. One time they were literally 10 bucks off then they tried to make up some mysterious charge which is not on any of their menus which once I asked for the manager then they magically made that charge disappear. The last time I ordered was the last straw. I ordered delivery and when I was the phone guy and again asked him about the pricing he had no excuse at all just a chuckle and an oops. Really? I have been a regular at this location. Generally friendly staff. I used to look forward to eating their fried chicken until my recent bad experience. I received very undercooked chicken pieces to the point one was cold and completely raw in the middle and the leg was oozing red blood. Concerned for my health and the health of others I called and let them know. They offered a refund or more food. I took the refund because my appetite was shot after the raw chicken. They didn't seem to sympathize with the health risk this poses. Reading through articles on the high prevalence of salmonella bacteria in chicken these days I a just praying there is no gastrointestinal troubles to follow. Will not return. read more

Let's see ordered food at 6pm tonight, finally after two hours, called to see where it was, I was told he was on my street. I figured we would check and see if the food was remotely hot. Well, they still didn't show. Finally fed my family something else. But decided to call to see what happened (45 minutes later from when I was told the driver was on my street). They tried to tell me that they were here knocking on the door for 7 to 10 minutes. Let's see, my two kids waiting by the door seemed to miss him and my dog didn't hear a thing, I don't think so.
