Food is really good but occasionally they don't answer the phone very well. Even after waiting and calling back a few times.

I love this location on the river! This place reminds me of Hooters and Roosters. Very similar food and concept. I love the outdoor seating with the river view. I thought the service was a little slow and I sat at the bar. My bartender definitely could've been more attentive. The bar has typical domestic drafts and bottles and a good liquor selection. I ordered the chicken quesadilla which was warm, and filled with gooey cheese. The highlight were the Buffalo wings, these had a good size on them and were tender with a nice bite! Mos Def better than Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings, but not Roosters. I'd love to come back and watch games here, they have ample Tv's with a nice open layout. Once you're done you can go for a nice stroll along the waterfront. read more

Honestly. Walking in here I was like ok, I don't mind 'hole in the wall' type places. But this was anything but. Exceptional service. Amazing food. And all the workers worked together to provide a great dining experience. It's nothing fancy but it's one of the best wing places I've ever been. I never felt forgotten about or without service. The entire wait staff and bartender helped each other out. I loved my experience here and I am super picky about service and my wings. They were large and meaty, not fatty, which I absolutely hate. I was favorably impressed with Cluckers when I went there recently. After walking across the pedestrian bridge, a friend and I decided to grab a bite for dinner. Most other places had a long wait (with one restaurant even having a line that literally stretched out the door), but when we reached Cluckers, we were just in time to snag a table on the deck. It was a warm evening, so it was very nice to be able to enjoy the pleasant weather outdoors. Service was prompt and friendly. Our server was well-acquainted with the menu and able to make suggestions on which of the famous Cluckers sauces would best complement what we were thinking of ordering. I got the Grilled Chicken Club Wrap with Thai Chili sauce and it was delicious! The flavored of the sauce, pickles, and bacon worked well together, and the house-made Ranch dressing on the side was perfect for dipping each bite into. Cluckers may just be my new favorite place across the bridge. Venture on over and you may just find a new favorite place as well! read more

Love this place. We go there to watch games, eat and drink. Bone in or boneless are great. You have to get the fried cauliflower. Best i have ever had. We also get the fried asparagus. Wonderful also. I like the asian spicey sauce, the parmesan garlic and the sassy hot sauce. My mother gets the hottest one on the menu and loves it. I have had two parties upstairs and that was well taken care of also. I have another party scheduled for october and im sure it will be a blast! Great service. Great fun place to hang out. Manager/owner is always there and he helps out bussing tables and even sometimes waiting on tables. You dont see that much for the owner to get his hands dirty but that shows a pleasent character about him and the establishment. read more

Decent food but horrible mgmt. The TV with sound was originally on the news. This was pointed out and they changed to Notre Dame game. When the Ohio State game came on we asked them to change to that game as did the table next to us (12 people total). Our server kept saying mgmt wouldn't change (we surveyed the bar and no one was watching Notre Dame). If you are not going to listen to your customers why be in the business? I feel bad for our server bc rather than stay for 3 hours we settled up and went to Buckheads. Won't be back. read more

Meh. After a hot walk across the Big Four Bridge, my husband and I were thirsty and needed to sit down. Tried Flat 12 first but they only served beer, no cocktails, which is what I wanted. Walked next door to what I though was something promising - divey, but busy. We were told to sit anywhere, then spent the next 10 minutes waiting for a server to come take our order. I didn't see a cocktail menu - unless I wanted a bucket o' rum, which I did not. However, I ordered one anyway because I was trying to be a trooper. It was busy in there but not wall-to-wall. Noisy, though, which was fine as that was the kind of place where you'd expect some noise. Looked over their menu just for funsies, and it was a lot of fried appetizers and chicken galore. Not a bad thing - sometimes you just want grease. We were seated right next to the bar and I watched servers whiz past me countless times without any acknowledgement. I could see the buckets and no one took one down to fill it with rum for me during the entire 15 minutes we sat waiting for our drinks. So we left, unfortunately. If we were locals, maybe we'd come back to give it another try. I don't know if this is typical of this place or not, but my first impression was not so good. read more

The wings here are fantastic and the location is great with all the Pokemon Go activity outside. The wings were crispy and the garlic chili and ranch dry rub are friggin lethally delicious. Competition wings should beware of the flavors they have here! The fried mushroom appetizers were good but a little bit too salty. The salad we ordered had a big ugly block of wedge iceberg lettuce that shouldn't have made it onto the plate. Now why did this place get only one star? The main problem is the service. Something is definitely plaguing the minds of some of the waitresses working here. They make little to no eye contact, but friendly words come out of their mouths. It's kind of strange. I really can't pinpoint the vibe here except to say that it is super weird. I didn't really feel like a welcome paying guest in a business. We were polite and pleasant and didn't feel like that was reflected back on us. We walked in and weren't sure if we were to seat ourselves or what. We tried talking to a waitress as she was walking by but she just waltzed right past us with no eye contact at all. We were finally told we are to choose our own seat and sat there for some time with nobody coming up to our table. We finally had a server come by, but she seemed preoccupied with thoughts in her mind and made little to no eye contact for the whole night. I think she was a good waitress having a bad night. Almost like a good worker with crappy co-workers and no means to vent. I was going to give this place two stars but as I write, I recall considering walking out without eating anything while waiting for menus but we were pretty hungry and it was past our regular dinner time. There were some technical problems as well... No utensils with the salad we ordered, unsweetened sweet iced tea when my refill came out, tables not bussed while employees were standing around in one corner. I also observed a receipt sitting in another tables pitcher of beer actually soaking up beer. The server removed the receipt and took the beer to the table. Not a huge deal but it gets me thinking about where the line is drawn where the beer is deemed unfit to be consumed. Something is going on with the staff on this Sunday evening that caused things to fall apart. Maybe the boss had the day off. The workers seem unhappy. Perhaps there needs to be a frank and honest meeting so things can be improved. Maybe we were unlucky and walked in after some unpleasant situation had unfolded? Regardless I won't be back to see if anything changes in the future. First impressions are important and there are great wings to be had elsewhere. read more

I am not really a connoisseur of wings but I do enjoy them. Decent menu selection of non-wing options if wings are not your thing but someone you are with wants them. Good selection of sauces or rubs for your spice or hotness levels. The service was nice and speedy. Nothing blew me out of water but they were a-ok wings. They have great spot right on the water with a nice patio. Had it been a little less hot, I would have really like to sit on the patio. I would suggest this to you if wings are your thing. read more

Went to Cluckers in New Albany tonight for dinner. We took our 2yr old. We also have come accustomed to waiting a little for food everywhere we go due to staffing storages everywhere. We got out appetizers and my 2 yr olds food pretty fast. Service was great. However the food took a bit longer. As toddlers do when he is ready and done waiting he is ready to go. So we told the waitress just to box it up and my husband was going to wait while I took my child to the car (for the sake of all us). We never complained because we get it. However the manager came out and apologized and gave a gift card for next time. Point to this. If someone complains and causes a scene do you really want them back at your restaurant?!? I use to work in the food industry and people can be very much a**holes. Luckily where I worked the owner would prefer for those to not come back. If you don't expect to wait now days then I suggest you don't go out to eat. I get it is frustrating but you don't think that server is frustrated and that cook that is backed up because he may have been the only show up to work. What a wasted opportunity...perfect location on the river in a great city but horrible staff both front of house and kitchen. There was no hostess to greet us, I had to walk around the bar corner to ask a waitress if we can get a table. She said good luck and just seat yourself. I did so and it took 15 minutes for a waitress to come take our order. After taking the order we were not checked on or updated for 30 minutes. We had to flag the waitress down to ask about the food and she seemed upset that we bothered her. She told us she is waiting on the cooks to get the food but had no idea how much longer it would be. We waited another 10 minutes out of hope but no food or sign of the waitress coming. During this we looked at a few of the items the kitchen did put out and they did not look or smell good. So, we left without eating. This is the second restaurant I've been to in Jeffersonville this month that failed to seat us or bring us food. I hope this isn't a growing trend and these restaurants can turn it around with friendlier and hard working staff that can give customers a great dining experience on their night out. read more

Don't waste you time at the Jeffersonville Cluckers, service is horrible. Today we ask to be seated outside since my daughter brought her dog along(they do allow pets). The waiter told us there were no seats and did not offer to put us on a waitlist. Seems time everytime come to the Jeffersonville location service or might I say the lack of service is horrible. We love the New Albany location. Service is so much better, and I believe the food even taste better. To me the view isn't worth the horrible service, there are several other options on the river that are happy to serve us. read more

Bottomless boneless wing Tuesday! Cluck yeah. (bad joke) Anyways, was recommended Cluckers by a friend when I mentioned I had a hanging for wings. And on a Tuesday! So we drove across the bridge and headed to Cluckers. Interior is your typical sports bar. The restaurant was pretty full (guess the secret is out). We were seated at a two-top near the bar. Cluckers is taking the proper COVID precautions with staff wearing masks and tables spread apart. We were greeted by the nicest waitress, who also was the bartender. She was super attentive, kept our drinks full and the wings coming. Since it was bottomless, I branched out and tried a few different flavors, including: Boom Boom, Sassy Garlic, Hot, and Spicy Thai. The standouts were the Garlic and Spicy Thai. Both full flavored, with the right amount of heat. We also tried the monster mozz stick, and it was just alright. They let us take the leftover wings home, which was nice, and made for excellent next day leftovers. Overall was really impressed with Cluckers, and worth a trip across the bridge. Being right on the river, they have an amazing patio and can def see me coming back here during summer! read more

If you're going to come to Cluckers, come to this location. It has a great view and it's quite nice to walk around downtown Jeffersonville. I've been eating here since high school, so maybe I'm biased in that way. The New Albany location (closest to my old neighborhood) just doesn't do it for me anymore. Too many teenagers. Listen, this place isn't special. You're not going to crave the food or the service. It's all pretty good, but that's about it. I'll eat here because it's cheap and there are some excellent specials during the week. Ballin' on a budget y'all. The chips are meh. The fries are good, but I'd recommend the potato salad as a side. Get some wings, too. The mozzarella bites are the one truly delicious thing on the menu I've experienced. In a great, greasy kind of way. That's about all I'd recommend. I'll keep frequenting this place when I'm visiting from across the river. However, it's usually at the suggestion of someone else. read more

I can't complain about anything at Cluckers! I came here because it was the only place open nearby at the time (things close early in Jeffersonville!) and me and my friends wanted one more drink & some greasy food! We were tempted by the Voodoo rum bucket, which was good, but obviously cloyingly sweet. I can never turn down a bucket drink, though! Me and my husband split chicken tenders with the "hot" sauce and some fries and my friend got the chicken wrap. Our food came out fast and was hot, and well seasoned. The seasoning on the fries was really really good, actually, and I'm not typically much of a fry person. The ranch was also the bomb, especially when used to dip them tasty fries in. The hot sauce was hot enough, but there are hotter choices available, as well as lots of other flavors. My friends chicken wrap was made with a vinegar based slaw, which was unique and pretty good. Service was quick & our waitress was very nice & accommodating even as I tried to order a "Cluckin lit" rum bucket, which is actually an LIT cocktail (that went totally over my head at the time.. I was a few margaritas deep tbh.) I can't wait to come here and over indulge once again when it's warmer! read more

The food and service was fine, however during this covid 19 pandemic, my waitress nor any other employee I saw had a mask on. One customer asked a waitress why she didn't have a mask, and she said it was too hot. It is very irresponsible not protecting the customers. I walked across the Big 4 Bridge twice to get to this place. The beer was ice-cold and well received after a hot walk across the Ohio. The menu had an assortment of bar-style grub, but the focus is on the wings. I immediately went for the top of the thermometer. Bad move. My suspicion about ghost peppers was confirmed by my server. They were indeed, the hottest wings I've ever had. I asked for it though, and I left sweating and full of endorphins. Next time, I'm going for a more moderate temperature. Great service! read more

Restaurant is located steps from the riverfront with a very relaxing river overlooking deck. Service was fast and attentive. Selection on menu is great. Wings were tasty with just the right amount of heat and sauce. Ordered a chicken burger that was very tasty. Drink specials are priced right and rotate through the week. Prices and value are very good and there is a kids menu. We absolutely will be back. read more

I've been coming here fairly regularly since it opened a few years ago (and came to previous establishments in the same building prior to that). A good place for a casual bite/beer. The wings are some of the best in Louisville, and the 'Ultimate Chicken Burger' is something that you'll find yourself thinking about well after the meal is over. Daily drink specials are pretty good, esp on beer. Great view, decent atmosphere (kind of sports bar-ish). Service can be hit and miss - not in terms of quality but speed. Sometimes it's hard to get your bill paid and leave. Another unfortunate thing is the upstairs area...the clearly superior dining/drinking space, is open inconsistently. Anyway, go and enjoy yourself at Cluckers, I plan on doing just that myself. read more

Stopped in here with partjer in crime for a early lunch as soon at it opened. Considering we walked over from the bridge (walking bridge) we where kind of hungry. I had the chicken strip basket with fries and ranch/buffalo sauce on the side. She had a house salad with fried chicken on top. Both where really amazing, we where really surprised how good it was. Also the buffalo sauce was excellent mix (vinegar base but not super deluded). The price point was amazing too, and I'd probably just come back for the sauce alone. As I continue to search for the best wing in Louisville, I must say that I have found a contender. The wings here are descent size, price fair, and sauce selection was wonderful. I had Spicy Garlic, Hen Hot, Jalepeno Chipotle, and Cluckin Inferno. All were good, but the inferno was excellent. It was Very Hot, but not overpowering. For my appetizer, I had the Fried Banana Peppers. They were excellent with the Spicy Ranch Dip. Service was good and view of the river is very nice. I may be back to crown a king, soon. read more

Food was the same quality as Roosters or Hooters, and probably most the ingredients are from GFS (Gorden Food Servises) just like roosters or your local school districts cafeteria. Other than the view outside and the proximity to downtown Jeff, this location is a bust. We ate here on July 3rd and had great outdoor seating. There were some issues in the kitchen which the servers were upfront about and it was obviously irritating to some of the patrons but as we were planning on watching the fireworks from the Bats along the river we didn't mind. They had super cheap pints and a decent selection of craft brews on tap (decent for cheap that is...). Their monster mozzarella sticks will ruin all others for you. Seriously, try them. Subpar salads. Good standard wings with some pretty tasty variety of sauces and a dang good quesadilla. The service was also very good and observing the other servers near us handling the situation in the kitchen was also rather impressive. The view is good as it overlooks the Ohio River it's downtown in the city of Jeff across from their amphitheater. It's also at the bottom of the big four bridge so during your walk it's an easy stop it's a casual easy-going place with a good beer and pretty good food s well. My husband and I decided to have lunch here while we came out to Pokemon hunt at the waterfront. They were not overly busy many open but dirty tables inside and the patio, but we decided to sit inside. We did finally get to order our food, we both got the Chicken tenders and fries. The portions are very good but the tenders were a bit overcooked it almost felt like eating part tender part jerky. Talked to the manager and he didnt really care at first but apologized when I asked for the owners contact info. Update: Tried to give this another shot. We came in and waitress said seat your self. There was really no table configuration that would work for 5 and a high chair. The staff watched us try to make it a small table work but it wouldnt. They said nothing and watched us leave.
