We usually go to Buffalo Wild Wings because it's in a more convenient location for us. We decided to try Cluckers today and were super impressed! Our server was Shade and she was the bomb.com. We are from Texas but were visiting friends that took us here by boat. Probably some of the best docks on the river, easy in and out, very sturdy. We showed up on a Sunday afternoon with a party of 9. After a few minutes a customer offered to move to a different table so they could put two tables together to accommodate us. Service was good, but they ran out of clean glasses for drink refills so they used styrofoam cups. I had the side salad and traditional Buffalo wings, both were very good. I am giving this place a one star review because when I got home I had taken five wings with me and I took the sauces that were given to me. Cluckers had the distinct advantage tonight of being the only restaurant in downtown Jeffersonville that my boyfriend and I could find that was open on a Sunday evening. So, we headed in and sat ourselves at a table with an amazing river view. We started with a fried mac and cheese appetizer. The dish was tasty but dripping in grease. For dinner we decided to split an order of boneless teriyaki wings and fries. My boyfriend had onion rings as well. The wings were extremely unpalatable as they were drenched with a very very strong soy based teriyaki sauce that was very bitter. We gave up on those and moved onto the fries and onion rings. He liked the onion rings but we were both disappointed with the fries. They were clearly frozen fries that had been dumped in a frier and cooked until they were sort of dry then covered with far too much salt. Also pretty unpalatable. I'll give them two stars for their amazing location and view and for their very attentive waitress. However, the food was really underwhelming so I really wish I could give one and a half stars here. My husband ordered the boneless wings and he said they were a little dry. I ordered their famous chicken burger, I am not sure why they call it famous because it was extremely dry and tasteless. I have been to the other location in New Albany several times and it's ok for a chain restaurant so I thought I would give this a try when some friends wanted to meet up there. Started off with semi-cold beers, more toward the warm side but I will look past it. As I was looking past the warm beer a "beer tower" caught my eye, not because I have never seen one before but because of how incredibly filthy it was. I then went on to notice my friends knife had solidified cheese on it. The food was really not bad but nothing special at all, it got me full. Awesome Everytime! We always go there to eat and drink. We stay for hours!!! And they don't kick us out! Sometimes we are there so long that the servers switch shifts. Service is excellent! Food is great. I like the both the bone in and boneless wings. Favorite Sauces: Parm-Garlic, Hot and Sassy Garlic and Sweet Thai Chili. My mother gets the hottest of the hottest - Cluckin Inferno! She loves them. But be ready when they bring them to the table - everyone will have a clear sinus. We always get the Fried Cauliflower and Fried Aparagus. Both are great! And I prefer the Cheese Bites over the Cheese Sticks. But they taste just the same. Just prefer the bit size. I had my B-Day Party there in the private room upstairs and we all had a great time. This place was a bust. I can't tell you anything about the food, but I can tell you about the rude man working there. After speaking with a server who told us to set at any open table, we found the only empty (dirty) table and sat. We were informed the table would be cleaned and someone would be with us. We sat there for 5-10 minutes and a man wearing a gray collared shirt (I'm assuming manager because he wasn't wearing the same red shirts as the others), came by pointing and loudly spewing to us that we were at a closed table. When we told him we'd been told we could sit there, he casually replied, "Well she lied!" Mind you, he never approached us to converse. He never stopped walking. Just pointed and loudly spoke to us like garbage in front of an entire dining room full of people. Sure, they were busy and likely understaffed, but that's no excuse to speak to customers like that. First impressions are vital and that guy ensured we will NOT be able to review the food. Business lost! read more

My family and I have visited this location many times. We typically go on Tuesdays for the all you can eat boneless chicken wings. Our bill is usually around $50 to $60 dollars. During this particular visit, we ordered our normal fare, and then before leaving asked for a carryout box. We were informed that they don't allow carry out boxes for the all you can eat (mind you we had just eaten 15 wings per person in my party and had ordered another round). I mentioned to the server, who was very efficient and nice, that we had done this on almost every other occasion when visiting. She stated she would ask the manager again, several minutes passed and she returned and stated "The manager said No". (Evidently, the manager was to "busy" to come to our table to deal with the complaint themselves). I did inform the young lady that the chicken wings just ordered would remain on the table, uneaten, since would not be able to get a to go box. SHAMEFUL waste on Clucker's part. I also, asked her to inform the non seen management that no where was it posted that we could not get a To Go box for our un eaten chicken wings, the only disclaimer that I saw was on the website that stated "Dine In Only" (which as I mentioned we had ordered an appetizer, meals, and cocktails and Dined In). I will not be returning to this location until proper disclaimers are posted AT THE DOOR, ON THE WEBSITE, AND ON THE MENU. Shame on the manager for not having the guts to address the issue personally. Your server only makes 2.13 an hour plus a tip. She doesn't get paid to address issues like this with clients. read more
