Cluckers is a sports bar/chicken establishment located just off the main Shepherdsville Kentucky expressway exit back in a shopping center. The original location was in new Albany and I guess they did well enough to open a second one at this location in Shepherdsville. Me and my family actual find ourselves coming to this location quite a bit. I am personally a huge fan of there chicken quesadilla. Maybe my favorite current one in the Louisville and surrounding area right now. Good chicken and cheese ratio and great tasting salsa. Our favorite thing to get when go as a family is the mozz bites. They are amazing and everyone we have told to try them has loved them. A must veg app for us. Other items we have sampled and liked is the max and cheese wedges app. My wife is a bit fan of there chicken salad wrap. The kids have sampled everything from nuggets, max and cheese, chicken wings and other sandwiches. And everything. We have footed here has been pretty good. The decor here is very fun and light hearted. They have taken a lot of famous horror film movie titles and made the titles into poultry and chicken puns on posters. So we have fun checking those out. Inside is very spacious with a bar and nice outdoor patio area that is covered. Overall a nice cheap and enjoyable American establishment environment. It isn't gourmet of classy food but it is very good and tasty and a fun atmosphere to take your family and enjoy a nice lunch or dinner. When I first ate here I thought "this place is cool and I can see us coming back". Since then we have been several times and it is a popular dining spot for us to hit up especially when near the Shepherdsville area. read more

I had been to the Jeffersonville location before and wasn't a fan. After passing through Shepherdsville looking for something besides fast food, we decided to give Clucker's another shot. It's located in a fairly new strip mall across from Walmart, which has been a nice addition to the once empty area. I like this location a lot better because it is smaller and way less chaotic. Everything from the service to the food was good, and I really enjoyed their wings. It's really one of the only sports bars in the area, so it seems to be the popular place to catch whatever game is on. read more

It was our first time at Cluckers and we will be back! We started with the pretzels and beer cheese which came out in no time and was fresh out the fryer. Beer cheese was some of the best I've had! For dinner he got boneless wings chipotle jalapeño style and I got the mini chicken sandwiches with a side of their seasoned chips. Everything was delicious and we got fast friendly service. Very affordable too! My only complaint is that the mini chicken sandwiches are just boneless wings on mini buns, so there was a lot of bread for not a whole lot of chicken. I was at cluckers tonight and I was underwhelmed with the food and service. I came here religiously when John was managing the place. Tonight I ordered Tony wings with the Hot rub on them like I always do. The waitress (RileyV) brought me out plain wings with no sauce. I explained that these were not right and her only offer was to bring me a side sauce out. After going back and forth she said she was sorry and walked away. I would think any server at cluckers should know that Tony's come with a rub and not sauce. I did not see any person I deemed a manager so I paid my $63 bill and went home. General manager refuses to follow covid guidelines. Kitchen staff do not wear gloves, masks, or hairnets. Kitchen has dropped food on the floor multiple times, and nothing was done about it. So my wife and I actually got a babysitter on a Friday which is a miracle in itself but that's another story. we decided to try this new sports bar in Shepherdsville that we've been wanting to try for a few weeks now since it opened. I've read a few other reviews on here and for some reason it's getting some bad publicity 1 * 2 * this and that and this and that well let me tell you I really liked it and I'm very happy that it's open Shepherdsville needed something like this good sit down sports bar or I can get some beer and watch football and I don't have to drive to Okolona or Fern Creek to do it so I'm so glad Shepherdsville there's a place like this. The wait was about 25 minutes so not too bad for a Friday night. We were seated in the bar area at a high table with a great view of all their many TVs they have surrounding the place. I can't wait till football season so I can go watch games up there and they serve $2 pbr's and Miller highlights love that I will drink a lot of beer up there I'm excited. my wife always enjoys getting fried cheese curd things everywhere we go she likes cheese she likes things fried so she enjoys that so we ordered the appetizer that knows about 7 Bucks and they were really good I'll give them a 3 out of 5 Stars not bad I mean what is it's fried cheese can't really go wrong to be honest so we ordered also there hen hot and it was really good. Had a good spice to it and I will get it again. My wife got an $8 rum drink and she seemed to be a big fan of it. Overall I'll give this place a 4. I have been here three times (as of this review). So far the experience has been great. The people are on top of things and the food is so very good. The fried cauliflower is on point. The Trio appetizer is equally amazing. I highly recommend the beer cheese burger. It was the best burger I've had in a while. Last Sunday 08/12 the wife, daughter and I went there around 12:30 for lunch. They were busy, but we were seated in a couple minutes. As we sat there I took in the sites. I like the environment, and they had a lot of TV's with games on. We gave our drink orders and asked for an appetizer. The appetizer was brought out by another waitress before we even had our drinks, if that tells you anything. She even said "you haven't got your drinks yet?" We weren't real happy about it because we had sat there for a bit waiting on them. A lot of people came in while we waited for our food. They seemed to get people seated quickly, but they have a wasted area inside the door with no chairs. With as many people as I saw come in, they should have a bench around the wall inside the door, or some chairs. Again, they have space for it there that's just wasted. We had the cheese balls as an appetizer. Not the best I've had, but they were descent. I also had the chicken parmesan sandwich with fries. I didn't finish it, and will never order it again. I guess I should have went with their wings. Nice environment, slow service during our experience. There was another couple near us that you could tell was perturbed with the delays as well. Try it out, and I hope you have a better experience than we did. I'm hoping things improve. read more

Cluckers... more like fuckers. I came here thinking I was about to devour some delicious chicken wings, boy was I wrong. I had asked for bone in medium wings and the disappointment was immeasurable I received chicken tenders with franks red hot sauce drenched on top. This is a new restaurant in our area and of course I waited a while before trying it out. The interior is decorated in a lovely fashion which reminded me of the old Chi-Chi's decoration. They have an extremely large menu with a variety of options. Everything I have tried thus far has been as listed and very good. My only concern is that a few of the servers do not speak English, but they are rather quick to get someone who can help you. It will remain a periodic place to eat for me. read more

Cluckers is a fantastic addition to Shepherdsville. A little bit of a takeoff of Hooters and Roosters with the chicken wings all the flavors and boneless wings. If you want something different that you really can't get any other location try the Tonys wings. They are grilled and fried. A taste that you can't get anywhere else. Clockers also has a location in downtown Jeffersonville Indiana. We dock our Boat at the front of the restaurant and eat there quite often. read more

We have come to cluckers many time since it's open and enjoyed it always had a good time good service but today was a different subject we went in and we sit there for roughly 10 minutes which total it our waitress would be with us in a minute as we sit there with no drinks and no waitress while three waitresses were standing behind us at a table just talking to each other no customer there three waitresses at the bar talking with the manager no communication there with us we get it up and then left and went to a different restaurant to spend our money very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and courtesy very disappointed in this restaurant doubt if we will ever go back.
