My husband and I visited for a Saturday lunch. Seating indoors and on the patio, plus open windows if you want to pull up outside to the bar. We ordered the basic phillly cheesesteak and BLT. The cheesesteak came with cheese and the bread was soft, filled with meat. It was a bit too basic and bland, and I was disappointed we didn't add on more toppings for flavor. It came with a small bag of Lays chips. The BLT was the stand out. On a round bun it had a lot of crispy bacon. I upgraded to fries and was happy that I did. Service was friendly and we were well taken care of with timely orders and refills. We will definitely be back for another BLT and menu choices. read more

Food was your average bar food but I did eat all of my burger if that says anything. Fries was good. They don't really have a drink menu so I just drank draft beer. I liked that it wasn't jam packed with people and we could watch the U of K vs U of K game without having to fight for space. read more

We visited this restaurant late Saturday night to support a local business. I planned to write a 5-star review, but I'm sorry I couldn't due to the worst service. The food was affordable and tasty. The beer was icy, and the food was satisfying. The problem was the service. We treated the server as nicely as we could. And we drank quietly. However, every time she brought us food, she would throw it on our table without good manners. Google, Yelp, and Facebook all say this place closes at 11 pm. However, around 10 pm, she said this restaurant closed at 10 pm and told us to pay and leave. While we were paying, two groups of customers came in, and the server let them in. Also, there were other customers, but she told only us to leave. My friends and I felt her behavior toward us seemed like a racist--a bad experience. read more

Just wasn't great. Service was awesome though. Not big portions for the price and the ranch is bottled and hot and chicken tenders are concession stand quality but very pricey ($12 and no meat). Unfortunately it just wasn't good for the high price. read more

8/31 I've been a patron of About Time twice over the last few months. They have an outside patio are what I'd consider to be a step above a dive sports bar. The burgers and wings are decent, and their beer is priced well. Good place to catch the game and have good conversation. The main attraction is the outdoor patio seating and all of the televisions inside and out. Service is friendly and seat yourself. Pretty simple menu, semi loud atmosphere, and still family friendly I'd say. Open until midnight currently each night. read more

Great Food!! We were visiting from out of town and friends told us about this place. We were pleasantly surprised how good the food was for a bar and grill type place. We had the Italian Grinder, Bacon Cheeseburger and sample appetizers everything was hot and fresh. Our waitress Brittany was on it, never had to ask for refills and was super nice. If you're not a regular at this bar, and if you're just a single woman sitting alone don't expect to get service or even the bartender to give you any sort of eye contact. I've been to this bar plenty of times because I like the Philly cheese steak sandwiches, but I do not come here for good service. Whenever I go in there the men and people with families with them are treated exponentially quicker, kinder, and with more respect. Last time I went to place a carry out order I had to wait 40 mins when the hostess said it would take about 15 minutes and when I finally got my food she said "I'm sorry we forgot about you, this has been ready for awhile." Naturally, I knew it would be cold when I got home and it was, I just was so defeated I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. And while waiting that long is annoying, it's not what has compelled me to write this review. It's the way time and time again different staff members and bartenders have treated me there. I hate to jump on that it's because I'm a woman and I go there by myself... but that's how these interactions have made me feel. I always tip 20% even on carry out, I smile, and I never have taken it out on service workers doing their job. Again, this has happened enough times where I feel it's a workplace culture that I hope will change. I don't think I'll be back because it honestly made me more sad than angry. The service was questionable due to the fact that the two waitresses and female in the kitchen continued to talk about taking drugs and getting drunk while on shift because the "boss" was making them work on a day off. Disappointing visit tonight. My wife and I go here for the cheesesteaks. Normally very good. Tonight was miserable. Outside temp was 93. We choose to eat in the dining area. Inside temp was 84! Got loaded fries that were supposed to be queso but it tasted like a can of tomato sauce was poured on it. My husband had been coming to the resteraunt "about time" which may have not been the name when it was closed during covid. We noticed it had reopened and advertised philly steak sandwiches. My husband was excited that this place had reopened and thought he could get a real philly like we would get up north. He also would eat there at least 2 a week when he worked in the area. We ordered two cheesesteaks (side of fries and onion rings), a cheeseburger and fries, a kids meal, and drinks. It says online it's a $1 up charge for fries and $2 for onion rings. It's actually $2 for fries and $3 for onion rings. My husband received 4 onion rings. He wasn't pleased. Other than that the food was decent. It was just extremely overpriced. Coming to this restaurant I had a good feeling about it due to the fact that I can't had ate there before and said their food was expensive but good. I walk in and sit at the bar and wait for at least 10 minutes I end up getting my own menu and the bartender/ waitress asked me what I would have.
