I took it upon myself to ask the server (after i had paid already and after SHE had asked if I wanted ketchup) i said yes and asked for extra sauce (cause i knew they charged n yes i felt entitled because of wait time) that a simple request would make up for bad experience. Upon arriving home none of our orders had sauce or even ketchup!!! My wife claims cashier just pretended to grab condiments instead just moved receipts next to her and handed us bag. The macaroni tasted too salty. This place is over priced I recommend trying the nearby canes or daves hot chicken nearby. So upset with our Family Pack tonight! I have been in the restaurant and I have never had an issue. But tonight we ordered Clydes for delivery. In no way is the delivery service at fault for the entire order being wrong. Anyone with kids, you know how F'in hard it is to please everyone. So we ordered the easiest way. A family pack with Pickles on the SIDE, NO Cole Slaw, and 2 separate Little Cluckers PLAIN with NO PICKLES. We paid a premium to have it delivered, only to realize the wife and I are going to pull and all nighter eating all of this ourselves because none of the kids would eat what we received. We got a family pack with cole slaw on every sandwich, pickles on every sandwich, and those 2 plain ones? ya they came spicy with pickles. None of the kids ate the food, so we ended up cooking anyways. So pissed off that I thought anyone who wants to have Clydes delivered better think twice. read more

Their prices are way too high now. There's your usual $1-$2 price increase but these increases are straight greed. Replying to every person on Yelp who mentions your prices with the same copy and paste response that you're dealing with WEEKLY price increases from your suppliers is bull. Also, the quality of food is way too inconsistent for what you're asking people to pay. They aren't affected by the $20 an hour fast food wage increase either so don't be fooled. To be considered a "fast food" place they would need to have at least 60 locations nation wide which they don't. read more

When I pass this place by work I always see a big line at the drive thru. I had to try this place out. It did not disappoint. The staff was really busy at work always making sure the orders get out on time. The chicken was really good. It left a mark on me because the chicken is nice and juicy not dry. There is the right amount of hotness when you get the original spice. The waffle fries were crispy and salted perfectly. One thing surprise me was the lemonade was freshly made. It was really good. During lunch time, the drive-thru can be packed with vehicles, so if you plan to park in the parking lot, be warned that you might be stuck for a while. Because of COVID, the bathrooms are shut down and you cannot dine inside. However, there are benches and tables outside where you may enjoy your delicious lunch! It was a warm day, but shade is provided by the umbrellas located at each table. My husband and I ordered the special (2 chicken sandwiches, 2 tender pieces, 2 sides, 2 order of fries for $25). Fair warning, the food can be pretty spicy - so be mindful of that when you choose your spice level. The chicken was crispy and flavorful! I really enjoyed the sandwich and tender pieces. I'm not a fan of macaroni salad in general, so it's difficult to comment on that. The fries were fresh and crunchy, but were overshadowed by the tasty chicken sandwich and chicken tenders. Just left Clydes. I use to come 2-3 x a month since the beginning of the year as my friends would rave about it. My first time having Clydes was amazing. Today however, they have just lost a customer. First of all, the breading was falling off the chicken as if my chicken was sitting there for a couple of hours, the toast was rock hard and stale. Service here is pretty good and the food comes out in decent time are they are fried to order. Now the food is pretty darn good. You can adjust the level of spiciness and of course I had to try the 1930. Surprisingly, it wasn't as spicy as imagined but it still had a lot of kick! The strips are huge chunks of chicken breast and I ended up using a fork and knife to carve it up. The chicken sandwich is pretty huge and taste great! I recommend if you're in the area. 3.5 stars if rating only on food but the fast and friendly service bumps it up to a 4. I got the lvl 3 spice on the tenders and lvl 2 on the sandwich. The sides I picked were mac salad and fries. I thought the lvl 3 spice had a tiny, peppery kick to it but was also sweet (didn't expect that). The level 2 barely had a kick. The chicken was crispy but wasn't as tender and juicy as I would've liked it to be. The sauce and sides were good though. My post-quarantine tummy is going to be in full view post-pandemic when places like Clyde's offer insane meal deals. We've been fans of the chain for a bit, but were super stoked to see on social that they had a $25 family meal that included two sandwiches, two sides of fries, two orders of chicken tenders (4 total), two pieces of Texas toast and two sides of macaroni salad. Not only that, it's housed in a catering tray to stay warm until you get to your final destination. One thing to note, you can only choose one heat level for the entire meal, so you can't mix and match - probably to keep things streamlined. We hit the drive-thru around 5PM on a Sunday and it wasn't terrible. However, within the next 10-15 minutes, the line started to get bigger. If you can, please figure out what you want ahead of time (check the website for a menu!), especially if you have a full car. It really helps keep things moving so everyone can place their orders in an efficient manner. The person in front of me was taking their sweet time and that derails the whole process. Though it's not the same as getting the food hot from the fryer and eating in the restaurant, this definitely hit the spot when we were craving some of their chicken sandwiches. Another plus, because it was an insane amount of food, we had plenty of leftovers for the next day. Will for sure be back for more value eats! read more

I love trying different Nashville hot chicken restaurants, and this one definitely did not disappoint! We came here on a Saturday in the afternoon, and the drive thru line was long. It's not very convenient because the drive thru line takes up the whole parking lot so if you're picking up food and going inside, park on the street and not in the parking lot. We conveniently ordered online on their website, and the food was ready on time! The chicken sandwiches were a good size and they gave a good amount of fries. We got the hot as click sandwich, which had the perfect amount of heat. It was spicy but not too spicy. And the seasoning was delicious!! The only thing that takes away 1 Star is that there wasn't enough coleslaw and sauce on the sandwich. I need some texture and sauce to make it a perfect sandwich. This spot was amazing! I had the Clydes Original sandwich in the "Hot as Cluck" flavor, and it was delicious! Ill probably get the spicier one next time. Their fries were also really tasty, Which I'm pretty sure it was the seasoning- perfect for dipping in their sauce. I asked for some extra sauce since I added it to my sandwich and used as dipping sauce. They were able to have our three meals ready within minutes from ordering, and they had a nice area outside of the restaurant set up for us to sit down and enjoy our meals. So my initial review for this place was not so good, but we've been coming here allot more recently and the food has gotten god tier. The food is also very fairly priced. I recommend the tenders since it comes with a side of toast which you can wrap around one of the tenders to make a sandwich The wings are also amazing! The waffle is also a nice treat it comes fresh and warm with butter and syrup. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is some of the employees can be very snobby and rude. For example we came 30 minutes before they closed one night and I guess we came on a night they were having a Christmas party for the employees and after we got our orders we proceeded out the door. One of the female employees yelled out in a very sarcastic tone "HAVE A GREAT NIGHT", as if we were a massive inconvenience to them. Even though they were still open for another 20 minutes. Unfortunately half the staff here always have a shitty 16 year old teenager attitude. Another example is there is some employees who get frustrated when they ask you what SIDE, When you mistaken the question for what SIZE. Since we have to wear masks it's so hard to here what the hell is being said but since I come here allot I always know what they mean. BUT every time I see someone else ordering they always mistakes it for SIZE instead of SIDE. Easy fix would be to ask if they want fries or macaroni salad. There are some gems though! So if you've followed my other reviews as a local I had to compare the three competing for the throne Jaxon's, Clydes and Holdaak. Unfortunately , while they are amazing , they do not take it. The chicken is a dry seasoned spicy rub. We orders a wrap spicy ( hot as cluck) and it wasn't spicy either they forgot or their hot as cluck isn't hot * Asian Zing at BWW is about as spicy as I go , my eyes water and mouth burns*. The Mac salad was amazing 10/10 none of the others have it. Their slaw was unique and delicious with an orange citrus base that definitely pairs well. Their unique sides set them apart from the others. The bread could've been toasted. But it wasn't bad on its own. The fries seemed like any fries so I didn't order those. They're Apples, while the others are oranges and pears. But in comparing the chickens ... they are great but in their own special category. read more

It was on par as the spicy chicken from Chick-fil-A, which to me is very tasty but not spicy. I will opt for a higher level next to get some spice. The girl at the drive-through read or order back exactly right . There was one truck in front of us. We had to wait about 15 minutes for their order to be completed. Then we waited Another 10 to 15 minutes for our order. When we got home, we found there was only the combo, which was not made naked style, pickles were not on the side, and NO NASH WRAP! This spot is amazing!!! The customer service is TOP TEIR. Betty Boo and Ethan we so sweet. When we let them know it was our first time they walked us through the menu. They're both so sweet and lively- even ordering was enjoyable. We ordered the OG Chicken sandwich, an Early Bird, waffle & crinkle fries, waffles and a shake. If you come with someone I highly recommend getting the OG sandwich and early bird and asking them to cut in half for sharing. Betty recommend pickles on the early bird and I recommend ordering on the side to give it a try. The food was amazing.
