I didn't expect this place to be more of a bar than a deli but it is. It's a huge place with ample seating and a separate deli counter and bar. I didn't have any of the alcohol but the food was very good. I had the Fender Club and it was delicious. My only complaint was that it was too tall. How are you supposed to put a sandwich like that in your mouth? The real star was the potato salad, which was fantastic! The service was quick and efficient and the staff were polite. We decided to split the Full of Bologna sandwich. Each sandwich comes with a side salad. When you split a sandwich, you can purchase an additional side salad for $2.95. We did that, so the bill came out to $21.98 ($10.99 split evenly). I got a pasta salad, which had an Italian dressing sauce. You can order sandwiches inside near the door to the large patio. They have a food menu hanging up high near the ceiling, so it's a little hard to find at first. After ordering, we got the sandwiches immediately. There was no need for the staff to bring the food to our table. They had a Dodger game playing, so the outdoor area was quite lively due to fans watching. It was more relaxed and quiet indoors. The sandwich consisted of several layers of bologna and a few slices of cheddar cheese with mayonnaise. Looking back, we could've ordered a more interesting sandwich. It was still solid as all the ingredients tasted fresh, but it didn't feel exactly worth its price point. The pasta salad tasted adequate. I was told to go here by dear friends who I consider family since they know I love deli food. Easy ride from Long Beach and parking behind the business and on the street. When I walked in, I was transported to Ireland. The decor is Irish all the way and the selection of Whiskeys is awesome. They were out of my Tullamore Dew, didn't carry my Stella but had Redbreast. I had Redbreast (neat) and an 805 chaser, with a large water and lemon. I ordered the Pastrami on a roll with mustard and Swiss cheese. A pickle slice on the side and potato salad. The bartender/server was friendly, and I hate that I didn't get her name. They have a Touch Tunes jukebox and that was fun as well. I've been to Roscoe's in the evening for drinking and partying; it's a great venue for that as it's so open and spacious. This was my first time coming here for lunch. We came here around 2PM on a Saturday and there was no wait. I ordered The Italian Job, which was around $20. TBH I don't think a sandwich should be that pricey--but I did get two meals out of this since it was so large. It came with a side so I chose pasta salad, which was good but a bit salty. Overall, the sandwich was pretty good. I really liked the pepperoncini, which added a nice crunch and tiny bit of spice. The initial part of the night was great, 10/10 no complaints. When we got back to Roscoe's towards the end of the night, part of our group was inside and a couple of us they wouldn't let in because it was past 1am, cool, no worries. We're obviously going to try to talk our way in bc we're drunk and part of our group is inside. That's kind of part of the deal when you become a bouncer/security guard for a bar....youre going to interact with drunk people. My friend and I are talking to the actual bouncer trying to convince him to let us in, he didn't, but that was fine, everything was chill until this weird (third party) security guard named Zac, decided to tell my friend and I we couldn't get in bc we were fat and ugly. Huh? He was clearly projecting by the looks of him and he decided to escalate a non-problem. So, I asked him his name, he didn't want to tell me bc he knew he was in the wrong. I'm not sure why (I do know) this miserable, 50+ year-old with a napoleon complex decided to pick on two drunk (I'm sure annoying) women patrons to make himself feel better, but I'm sure he continues to make his mother proud. /s read more

I came here to watch the World Cup I ordered a beer and after a hour later I get ID by a person that works there which was fine then he proceeded to tell me do you have another identification like a credit card or something like that basically (double checking me ) I had asked around if people got the same treatment as I did they all said "no that's weird" because right after they checked my id the started asking/ checking IDS but none had the same experience I had . The BLT doesn't skip a beat; background: I used to frequent downtown Fullerton as a 21 y/o out on the town, but would always manage to make my way here for a nightcap of sorts.. Fast forward a decade and some change and I came randomly today, knowing exactly what I wanted.. As nostalgic and enjoyable for the reputable early memories, 'twas just as inviting in the daylight with a lunch crowd.. Friendly service, the cutie blonde behind the bar gave me "monkey brains" when I told her to surprise me on my side for a MUST HAVE BLT. Secret menu unlocked, and exactly why I leave it to the staff to decide- being in the service industry prior, there has to be a back staff concoction that's an oddity but absolutely works.. This is the first time we've tried Roscoe's in Fullerton and it's a bit of a disappointment they don't have the curly fries here =( Called in to place an order for pick up - quick, easy, and food was ready on time! Fender Club ($18.95): Sliced turkey, bacon, capicola, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo on toasted sourdough bread. Was looking for something on the "lighter" side and opted for a turkey sandwich - Price is a little steep as half the sandwich is stacked with veggies compared to the SOCO (basically all meat) for the same price. Soco ($18.95): Corned beef, pastrami, swiss cheese, and russian dressing on toasted rye bread. This is the clear winner EVERY TIME and truly a perfection of a sandwich. The layered corned beef with pastrami - absolute chefs kiss. Each sandwich comes with a side "salad" of choice (macaroni, pasta, potato) or coleslaw + a slice of pickle. Potato salad was decent but the macaroni salad was a no-go - very "wet" and tangy/sour. Great spot to visit if you're craving a sandwich. read more

Roscoe's Famous Deli -- can I just start by saying this place is AMAZING. The service is phenomenal, the food is incredible, and the staff is beyond attentive. There are a lot of younger servers, and honestly, they do such a great job. Even when the place is packed (which it almost always is--especially when there's a game on), they never miss a beat. Beers and drinks are constantly refilled, and they always make sure you have everything you need. I love coming here because my kids can run around, have a great time, and I don't have to stress--I genuinely feel taken care of. The food is outstanding, the portions are generous, and the flavors are on point every single time. Their sides deserve a special mention: the salads, macaroni pasta, potato salad--everything is seriously delicious. This is hands-down a fantastic place to spend your money. I'm giving four stars for something I would normally rate much lower, because I'm not sure whether this issue should be directed at the venue or the band. We saw Rockstallion perform last night, and during the show an older woman came up to our table with a bucket asking for $5 "for the band." The way she presented it made it sound like a required fee to watch, not an optional tip. It also seemed like she was targeting specific patrons--she approached us (an older couple) but did not make any effort to ask younger, college-age attendees nearby. When I declined, she became pushy and attempted to shame me in front of my companion, still implying that the payment was expected. I explained that tip jars are usually placed near the stage and that I prefer to decide for myself when and how much to tip. At that point, I asked her to leave us alone. She then approached the person I was with, who also declined. Although it was loud and hard to hear everything she said, her reaction appeared visibly displeased. I later noticed her approach another table with a similar dynamic, where she was ultimately successful with him. I sincerely hope this is not a standard practice of Roscoe's, as it's otherwise a great music venue with excellent food--which is why I didn't rate it lower. Rockstallion is also a very talented band, and I've always enjoyed seeing them perform. However, if this kind of aggressive tipping approach is being encouraged, it would definitely affect my decision to return or continue supporting them. read more
