We were driving through the area from NJ and had a flat tire. It was a Sunday and nothing was open. We needed a new tire, not a plug so even AAA couldn't help unless we towed it somewhere closed and waited till the next day. Luckily my husband asked some wonderful ladies in the nearby gas station and they said to knock on the door loudly. Sure enough Butch answered. Not only did he replace the tire quickly, he gave us an extremely fair price and we were back on the road in less than 45 minutes. Butch was taking a Sunday nap and woke up just to help us!! I had went up to Clydes to get 3 tires 225/55/17 , we picked out the used tires and the tires we picked out wasnt the tires he put on my car , the tires he put on my car was all different sizes and drastically different size in the front when my car is front wheel drive , i think with the tires being different size on the front has potential of messing up my drive train if im not mistaken , due to one wheel spinning faster than the other, but anyways point blank i paid 150$ for 3 tires that are all different from what we picked out and agreed on. We can't praise the owners enough for the help we were blessed with this week. Starting out for a month long trip on June 20. We made it to Starke, FL when the brake pedal hit the floor. We called around to repair shops in the area and Clydes was the only one who could work on it that day. As many Toyota owners have found out there are not many used parts available and because of the connections on the ends of the brake lines it can only be purchased from Toyota. The whole process took two and a half days to get parts in and installed. During this time we camped in our RV in the parking lot. Using their electric and water. Ester and Akiz Ballack went above and beyond for us and we will always be extremely grateful they were there. We are continuing on our trip and with luck and Gods help we will have a wonderful trip visiting family and friends. read more
