They tried to talk me out of it by telling me I didn't need all of it. I took my car to Famous and immediately I was greeted with a clear sense of what needed to be done and was given an exact quote of what was needed to get it fixed. It was extreme last minute notice and was taken care of without a second thought. I picked up the car the next day and it was over $600 less than the original shop quoted me on everything they wanted to replace. Famous didn't try to oversell me on anything or talk me into a service I didn't need. They gave me and my car the service it needed to run healthy.

I'm an aircraft mechanic and also work on cars. I purchased a kit and replaced my ac compressor, condenser, receiver, and expansion valve (all part of you car's AC system) and replaced o-rings and added proper amount of oil to each component. Took my car to Famous Automotive to have my car AC system leak checked, flushed and serviced. All i told them is that it was empty and what I wanted to get done, I did not tell them I replaced my AC components. After they are done the guy in the front desk named OZZY SEYAL as you can see in the receipt, told me that the reason my car was empty is because I have a "clog" in the AC system and it released all the freon and offered me to replace the "AC systems kit". That if I leave my car there today they can have my car ready for tomorrow and would cost me $1600ish. Obviously my car didn't need any of that to get done as it is literally the reason i took my car there to get serviced. So they blatantly lied to my face in order to get more money. THE REAL ISSUE IS THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM TO HAVE THE AC KIT PARTS IN STUCK FOR MY CAR SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THEY COULD OF DONE THAT AND HAVE IT READY BY NEXT DAY, BECAUSE IT TAKES A FEW DAYS TO GET THE PARTS DELIVERED. I've been buying my tires from them since, even when I've moved to different cities. The service and honesty I receive is always the same. They tell me when I need tires and when I don't. They have never tried to upsell me to something I don't need and have often told me when my tires are fine despite a big box store that did an oil change and claimed my tires were bad. I went straight from there to Discount Tire and they told me I still had plenty of life left in my tires. I got a new car and just replaced the tires on that after they were two years old and am so happy to have a set of tires from Discount Tires on my car. Knowing they will rotate them and check pressure for me anytime gives me peace and comfort. I find that prices here are always on par or better than competitors and that's important now more than ever.
