This place has to be one of the best places I have ever been. 100% recommended they have such good customer service. I ate my food in like 10 minutes flat it was so good. It's a cute little shop and it's not too overwhelming!

POV: you didn't know Korean fried chicken could be this good. This is CM Chicken and I'm telling you right now -- the crunch is unreal. Like... actually crispy, not greasy, not heavy, just clean crunchy chicken. Every box hit. No skips. Also, they just renovated and added a private seating area, which is lowkey perfect if you're coming with family, kids, or a group and don't want to be all up in everyone's space. It feels cozy but still fun. The vibe is chill -- TVs on, people hanging out, no pressure. This is the kind of place where you open all the boxes on the table and everyone starts grabbing pieces like "wait which one is this??" 10/10 would come back and p.s. I over-ordered so I can have some the next day. Just put it in the air fryer for a few mins.

We recently had an incredible dinner at CM Chicken Norton Commons that I am excited to share! We started with Japchae, which are sweet potato starch noodles stir-fried with veggies and meat. It's one of Korea's most popular dishes, and for good reason. It's a great dish to share, and it's now one of our favorites too. We ordered the Japchae without meat so we could also enjoy the Korean fried chicken. I ordered drumsticks with the Hot Honey sauce. It was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked crispy and juicy, and the Hot Honey sauce added a nice spicy kick. If HOT isn't your thing, they offer many other flavorful sauces from mild to hot. CM Chicken offers many other dishes worthy of your attention. They also have lunch specials which I plan to try very soon. Check out the attached menus. CM Chicken is delicious Korean Fried Chicken and so much more. Open 6 days a week. Closed on Mondays. Located next to Karems, in the previous Tea Station Asian Bistro location. We'll be back again very soon. I'm craving that Hot Honey Sauce on my CM Chicken super thick crust juicy fried chicken!

CM chicken again does not disappoint. I was in the mood for some Korean chicken and I knew that CM chicken had just finished remodeling their business. So I stopped by and ordered the Snow chicken drumsticks which I've never had and turned out to be so delicious that I hated to stop eating, but I was too full. I had the beef dumpling and fried tofu with a lightly spicy sauce. It was so delicious. you have to experience it for yourself. It made me do my happy dancing in my chair. And I've been enjoying this pair of tea from them. That doesn't need any sugar to feel the beautiful flavor that comes from The tea. It's a soothing hug in a cup. It makes you smile. I like their new design and it's very wonderful to see that they're opening their space for more business because they really deserve it so you can take groups or a date or just wandering around and wanting to have a small space to yourself. This is absolutely a great place to go eat, and the staff is wonderful and attentive so please if you have an opportunity to go by there give them a try you will not be sad and there are so many different options that you can. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen for making my lunch so wonderful.

Y'all know I'm a CM fanatic by now. Came to Nortons Common to check out the new location. It did not disappoint. I would recommend coming during the daytime hours avoiding lunch. Seating is limited. 18 thumbs up!!!

This restaurant is a newly opened branch of CM Chicken, but it has also added a Korean bistro. When I visited this restaurant, it had only been open for a week, so it can be improved in the future. Service: I was there during off-peak hours, but my server always responded quickly. The food was served quickly, and she was friendly enough. Atmosphere: The restaurant was newly opened, so everything looked clean. It felt like I was in a Korean chicken restaurant. Food: They give you a side dish when you order Korean food. The side dishes were neat. We had bulgogi stone pot bibimbap. The bulgogi was flavored like it was cooked on a grill. We tried two types of chicken, one spicy and one sweet. The sweet chicken was a bit greasy if you eat only this. But, with the other chicken, the spicy chicken made it taste better. I recommend ordering two types of chicken dishes. It was a pleasant enough experience. I will revisit this place in the future. Recommended.

The results were mixed. We did the grill table and had appetizers. The apps were AMAZING! The pot stickers, the salad, the spicy edamame, all yum. The meat for the grill was basted in a wonderful marinade and you had a choice of having the kitchen grill it or doing so at your table. We chose to do it ourselves. The waitress brought us scissors with the meat...! The cuts were really too thick and/or wide and I was wondering why the kitchen would send them out so we would still have to cut raw meat with scissors at the table? Also, the only veggies that came with the meal were chunks of green peppers and a few rings of onions. We had asked about more but those were it. The dessert was shaved something in coconut milk. Not very memorable. They did hold the dairy for our lactose free person so maybe that would have made a difference? Because the apps were so good I'll go back and try their other items, but probably not the grill table.

Milkwood was our anniversary go-to; tonight Nami picked up that role. Our server Jay was incredibly friendly and helpful. He explained everything on the menu, giving us recommendations and guidance, and then left us for a bit to think it through. By the time he came back to check in, we were ready to order our whole meal. We started with a complimentary champagne toast for our anniversary...always a lovely touch. Then we had our two cocktails, the wasabi margarita and the lychee martini. Both were so delicious we couldn't choose, and ended up sharing them both entirely. Next came crispy chicken dumplings (that we ate before I could even get a photo) and the amazing ponyu, a thick scallion and vegetable pancake (got a photo of the last slice. We couldn't stop eating it!). For our mains (most of which came home with us, tbh), we ordered the crispy skin snapper with delicious fried rice and the Kalbi beef short ribs from the bbq menu. The bbq comes with 2 sauces and 3 housemade banshan side dishes. Everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. There's nothing on the menu that I don't want to try. We love sharing so that we can taste it all! This will definitely be our anniversary spot...but I don't think I'll wait a year to return.

We shared japchae, tteokkbeokki, and one of the beef soups on the menu. Plenty of food for the two of us to share! We also didn't wait too long for the food. It's run by a husband and wife team. The wife was mostly running the front of house. It didn't get too busy and she checked on us a few times. They do offer some unique items I haven't seen at other Korean places in town. It's definitely a selling point to coming here. I did feel like the food was a bit bland. But I know we love our salt in America so maybe that's how it should taste. We were greeted warmly by the owner. I was excited to try the Sundae Gukbap: sausage soup. I'm not aware of any other Louisville Korean place that has it on the menu. Hubby ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork. I also got the grilled rice cakes as an appetizer. Everything came out pretty quickly. The rice cake sticks are fried to crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They're so good w the sweet spicy sauce drizzled on top. My soup was a bit of a challenge to me due to the abundant mix of pork "stuff": liver, blood sausage...etc. we both liked the delicious SS Pork. But I do wish this one had more stuff in it other than battered pork strips. When I return, I will try something more vanilla than the Sundae Gukbap: but more exciting than the SS pork.

The host places a paper liner on the grill and oiled it - said we had to keep it on and she would change as needed- it started burning prior To getting food, we asked to change prior to eating and she never did. Our first set of food took 15 minutes, as other tables around got their food after being seated after us. Only 1/2 the order was received- we got shaved chicken, small shaved steak, pineapple, zucchini.- mind you we were a party of 3. Paper still burning and peeled off on food. Fried rice had a weird sweet corn flavor which did not pair well with the food. Over 20 more minutes host had yet to get another order as she helped tables all around us- we were out of drinks and missing food items. Dishes were also piled up as other tables had staff clearing theirs ours remained and space is tight as is. We had to ask for manager- some staff came out - we got some food out and then they started just bringing random food. No apologies and for the wait and issues with the grill, small fire and wait times- we will not be back. Much better hot pot places that I will spend our money.
