Vietnam Kitchen is a Louisville institution. If you haven't been, it is hidden in the back of the Iroquois Manor shopping center. There's plenty of parking, and it's also near the bus line (4). When you enter, you'll be greeted. I have called several orders in over the years, but I really enjoy dining in. Service is always pretty quick (my pho came out very quickly last night). There are many great options on the menu. I love getting an avocado milkshake with boba as a treat, and I usually get it with pho. But really, there are no wrong answers here. I love this place.

We've been fans for years! The food is fresh, and tasty. It is a small establishment so you can feel a bit crowded but I always thought the food was worth it. Visiting lately it doesn't feel the same and the lemongrass isn't as special as it used to be to me. Now it's still delicious but the egg roll isn't giving the same crisp and the fish sauce isn't giving that marinated in wonder flavor it used to. Not to mention the pricing has really risen. I hope it comes alive again soon!

I was wanting some authentic Vietnamese pho and came across this place on our way back home from our ski trip. It was easy to find. The service was good and fast. It was a little hole in the wall type of feel but the food was good. Definitely enjoyed my pho dac biet and ice coffee!

Ouita Michel recommrnded the Vietnam Kitchen to me years ago. Hadn't been in ages so thought I'd go for lunch while in Louisville. Ordered Pork Pad Thai, and it was delicious. Lots oz pork. Highly recommend. 60

The food was really on point the other night! We stopped by for a later dinner (8 pm) and were surprised there wasn't a line out the door on a Friday night! We were seated immediately and started perusing the menu. It's been a while since we have been there but I think the menu might have been slightly condensed. While seated, I noticed several specials on the table under the glass. We decided to branch out and tried the jicama spring rolls and cucumber salad. The spring rolls were delicious, slightly crunchy from the jicama and with some Chinese pork and egg wrapped in rice paper. It's a must try! The cucumbers were also very good - slightly spicy and refreshing. For the main entree we both ordered the Vermicelli bowls with lemongrass pork and egg roll. The flavors were sweet and spicy and we devoured our meals. It's so sad that it's closing but would highly recommend you stop by!

What a little gem in Louisville. Read the reviews and they were all great and I 100% agree. Broth was extremely flavorful and service was fast and extremely thorough. The noodles were a tad overcooked but how good the broth was I don't think I cared that much. With how busy this place was it's clearly a staple of the community.

I love pho. This place always has a great variety of pho dishes. The service is always awesome. The seating can be a bit cramped but that only because they have alot of regulars. Everything here is good.

Crepe is huge this was 1/2 the portion... yummy A17. Banh Xeo (Vietnamese Crepe)

Always wonderful meal. I've never gotten a bad dish here. Black eye pea pudding is great also.

No complaints -- friendly service, exotic dishes, great hole-in-the-wall local business. No reason not to go and explore Vietnam's cuisine.

From there it was like dining in the royal palace. The service we received was excellent. The meal pace was perfect. The quality of the appetizers and entrées was top notch. The results were mixed. We did the grill table and had appetizers. The apps were AMAZING! The pot stickers, the salad, the spicy edamame, all yum. The meat for the grill was basted in a wonderful marinade and you had a choice of having the kitchen grill it or doing so at your table. We chose to do it ourselves. The waitress brought us scissors with the meat...! The cuts were really too thick and/or wide and I was wondering why the kitchen would send them out so we would still have to cut raw meat with scissors at the table? Also, the only veggies that came with the meal were chunks of green peppers and a few rings of onions. We had asked about more but those were it. The dessert was shaved something in coconut milk. Not very memorable. They did hold the dairy for our lactose free person so maybe that would have made a difference? Because the apps were so good I'll go back and try their other items, but probably not the grill table.
