This was the last Chinese restaurant I had not tried in the area! I guess you save the worst for last?! The owner is super nice, friendly as can be. There's probably 8-10 tables inside so it is descent size. I was dissatisfied with my Beef with Broccoli. Typically it is fried with oyster sauce as the main ingredient, I just felt like my beef was simmered because there was too much sauce and it lacked the fried taste. I was surprised it also had carrots and chestnuts in this dish. Overall the potential was there, the sauce was good though. My fried rice was ok, the portion is humongous but it does lack flavor and has an orangey color to it. This place also has seafood, so that is a pleasant surprise. With so many Chinese restaurants in the area, I'd like to come back and try the seafood someday.

Always smiling employees and good food to add to the happiness. I recommend the dumplings but not the crab rangoon (too much outer shell).

Clam strips, sesame chicken, and crab rangoon in the bag.

I've been a customer since this place was the seafood place, so I already knew I loved their seafood (the clam strips are my favorite.) I've been here twice since it's been the Rice Box, and both times I've gotten sesame chicken, which is delicious. Maybe a bit too on the sweet side, but I can deal with that by putting sriracha on it. Only drawback, I do not like their rice. It's got a strange chemical taste to it. But you can sub rice for lomein noodles, which are super yummy. The owners are also super friendly and sweet.

Good food, not the best or worst. Service was friendly, restaurant was clean. Four stars due to portion sizes. I will return.

Family dinners are available as well. I enjoyed my flavorful wonton soup, ate plenty of sweet and sour chicken, took bites of the Mongolian beef, and sampled most of the dishes around the table. I will never come back to this place…read more Let me start by saying I used to love this restaurant. It was one of our favorite. But now, it's on our list to never eat here again. It started with me placing an online order. This is new on their website while I was looking at the menu. I figured this would be best than calling the restaurant. How I was so wrong. I placed it with a 30 minute window. Ordered at 4:44 to be pick up at 5:14pm. I showed up to the restaurant at 5:03pm. There was about 4 other people at the counter. One person just placed their order, another person said her mom called to place the order but wasn't sure when it would be ready. They told everyone 20 min. I showed my ordered and they were going to be me 20 minute. I said I placed my order 20 minutes ago. Ok so I waited... Another lady came in and said that she placed her order around the same time online. Her order number was 140 and she had a long receipt with quite a lot of items. My order was 148, somehow. By the time I asked what's going on with my order at 5:15, they said they go by the order number and they're on 138. I don't think they processed my order until I arrived at 5:03pm. It took until 5:39pm before I receive the order in my hand. I only had very few items, one of which was an order for combination lo mein, plain mantou, shrimp tofu and wonton noodle soup. Mind blowing because I paid $50. The online system also charge a $1 fee, which I did not know about until I saw the receipt. Which would had been fine if my order was done in the time it was promised. Now, the staff was not the most friendly either... the person that handed me the bag almost dropped it because she put it in my hand, didn't say a word and turned and walked away. They cannot be any more rude than that. I was sweating profusely and shaking while waiting for a very long time while I am pregnant and nauseous. Now here's the review for the food. It was not good. We have had some on and off with their food and we haven't been back for a while so I wanted to give them another chance. But their lo mein was soo salty, and they used pad thai noodles. The wonton noodle soup was small container, so bland, literally no flavors, and the wonton tasted so bad. They put really hot tofu that was deep fried in styrofoam container that it put a hole through the container. So my paper bag was soaked and wet within the 6 minutes drive home. The mantou was so tiny for $4.5. Not worth it. All in all, the 4 items that I ordered did not worth the $50 for almost an hour wait, not worth my time or money. I wouldn't have eaten the food if I didn't already paid. Had I not already paid online, I would just had left.

Very small, only like 4 tables, so this is very much more for takeout. We didn't call ahead for our order, just ordered right there at the counter and our to go was ready in less than 10 minutes, and during Friday evening dinner rush when they were very busy. Woman behind the counter was so nice, made sure we had everything we needed, and you can see the cooks in the kitchen making your food. I usually get the chicken dishes. I got General Tso's this time. What I love: the chicken is fried to order so it's super crispy and the sauce is so flavorful. I feel like other places the sauce soaks into the breading and it gets a little soggy, but not here. Their crab rangoon is perfection. Other places is way too sweet with a few flecks of crab and is more like a cream cheese wonton. Theirs is generously filled with crab, and it's savory. I also love to get a side of lo mein, which had a great garlic flavor. You get so much food. I got a combination dinner that comes with pork fried rice (amazing) and an egg roll (crispy and also amazing). It's a nice deal. If you need Chinese takeout, this is where to go.

This particular time, the veggies were so bland and tasted more like water. Definitely missed seasoning. I'm not sure, but when it comes to take-out, I prefer something a bit more consistent. Overall, a fine spot with great prices for portion size.
