Rocky Mount Toyota 15 hours ago my wife and I were looking a vehicle with more room for our two kids and another on the way. We found a 2023 Sienna XLE on CarGurus located at Rocky Mount Toyota. Went it and spoke to Logan Bailey who allowed us to look at the vehicle. Purchase price of $42,999 was shown to my wife and I. Logan asked if we were financing with them or an outside source, and that the price would go up $1,000 if we did not finance through the dealer. We decided to use the dealer's financing. Logan looked at our trade in and said he used KBB Instant Cash offer to value our trade in. One of the sales managers, Bill, sat down with us and went over the numbers. The trade in value was still what KBB Instant Offer showed. I told Bill we had taken our Explorer to the Rocky Mount Ram dealer the night before and were offered $2,200 more. He said there was not any more he could do regarding our trade in. He was very adamant that's all he would give us for the trade in. My wife and I left and came back to the dealership and decided to go ahead with the purchase. I told Logan and Bill I was putting $16,500 on the Sienna. While speaking to Bill I asked if the Sienna was new or used since it had so low miles. He said it had never been registered and was classified as new because the dealership had been using it as a loaner vehicle. Logan ran the numbers with our trade in, down payment, and purchase price of $42,999. We agreed to the price and monthly payments. We step into the finance office of Rammi Shaehadeh and "discussed" the paperwork. The finance guy flipped through all the paperwork and barely explained anything. He started telling us how we needed an additional warranty because the computers in the Toyotas were notorious for breaking and they ranged from $4,000-6,000. After his sales pitch I asked how much the extra warranty would all cost and he said "less than $20 extra a payment". Never gave a whole dollar amount, and just broke it down into an extra $20 every month. When asked again he said we wouldn't even notice it a month. $20 times 72 months is $1,440. We reluctantly agreed because we did not want an expensive repair right after the Toyota factory warranty expired. We opted for GAP Insurance at $750. After signing on the iPad the finance officer tried to validate our loan with the lender but there was an issue regarding the term length. He got that straight and printed off our signed documents and folded them and put in an envelope. Shook hands and we walked to our "NEW" Sienna. We get home and show my mother, who is a certified accountant, the Sienna and she looked over the documents we signed. Rocky Mount Toyota had the correct purchase price on the co-signed document but raised the price of the Sienna on one document by $1,000, and another document by $2,000 over the advertised price of $42,999. We used their financing and they still managed to snake in more money for themselves WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE. Additional charges we were not made aware of included $150 LoJack, included the "$20 a payment" warranty which really cost $4,325 and an additional $750 charge for "Total Warranty Service", $199 for Kornerstone, $698 for Nanocure Protection, $1,099 for "Tire and Wheel Protection (which requires two keys be received at delivery that we did not receive), $1,400 in "Other We Owes". Rocky Mount Toyota ripped me off on my trade in and then managed to rack up over $8,000 in charges that were not made aware to us. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

My salesman, Ro was very professional and courteous. If you shop there, I would recommend asking for him Unfortunately, I wasn't told the "new" truck I was test driving to purchase had 2300 miles on it, showed signs of wear-damaged seats, rust, scratches, and was a test bed for accessories. The tires installed dragged against the fender flares-one would think the truck would have been tested before given to a customer What is sad is that it was a beautiful truck-but the trust with the dealership is just not there.

I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving major repairs…read more I brought my 2021 GMC Yukon AT4 to Davenport GMC with a drivability issue just before my extended warranty expired. After their diagnosis, I was told the transmission needed to be replaced, and that repair was completed. The problem was still there immediately after I got the vehicle back. I was told to drive it for a "learning period," which I did, but nothing changed. After multiple return visits, I was then told the issue is now the engine and that it needs to be replaced. This all happened right after the warranty expired. At this point, the original problem has never been fixed, even after a major repair was done based on their diagnosis. Communication has also been an issue. I was told to contact the warranty company myself, but they confirmed that claims must be handled by the dealership and had no record of proper communication from them. The service manager, Chris, has been my main point of contact, and I've received inconsistent information throughout the process. I also had difficulty getting responses from upper management when trying to escalate.

Review for Davenport Auto Park in Rocky Mount, NC…read more I am deeply disappointed with how Davenport Auto Park handled my late husband's vehicle. After his passing, I contacted the dealership on August 9, 12, and 13, 2022, asking for the return of his GMC truck. I was told the vehicle had already been sold. However, sales records indicate the truck did not leave Rocky Mount until September 2022, long after my requests On August 9, 2022. I also have documentation showing that a power of attorney used in the transaction was voided by Cheryl Spruill, the dealership's title worker. Despite my requests, the dealership refused to return the vehicle. Matt Joyner, the sales manager, shifted blame onto the fact that I had legal representation, though I never disclosed my attorney's identity. As a company that promotes Christian values, I expected better integrity and compassion during such a sensitive time. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling disregarded and mistreated. God Bless.
