They diagnosed it (they said) and said the Freon was on 3 whatever so they tapped it to 5. Two (2) days later it only blew out hot heat. We took it back and they said it needed strader valves. It was still doing the same then we took it back they said we needed a compressor so they put that on. Then it had a whining sound. All these services included a labor charge. We was told the aftermarket compressor may have been bad they would get another compressor but we would have to pay another labor fee. All of this picking up and returning it to fix was is less than 2 weeks. I have called the GM several times also emailed and he has not replied. This is not good business and is not treating a customer fair.

After consulting the owner manual, we realized we needed to find a Kia dealer immediately, Fortunately, we were only about 10 miles from Alliance Mazda/Kia and got the phone number from our phone. When we called, they told us they were a bit short staffed but that they would happily take a look at our vehicle. It could have been a 3-5 hour delay in our trip, but luckily they were able to check out the car pretty quickly. Once the codes were cleared, the car was driven around the dealership a few times to make sure the sensors did not come back on. We would like to thank Trey, the service advisor, for all his help! From calming me down on the initial phone call, to getting us out of the heat quickly, offering refreshments, and taking care of us in every way, he did an outstanding job! I would also like to thank Aaron, the service technician, for fitting us in and dealing with our vehicle efficiently and carefully! Although we do not live near Rocky Mount, we will definitely consider this Kia dealer if we should ever find ourselves in trouble anywhere near then! The other 2 dealerships offered to take the lease back will no extra cost to me but unfortunately they didnt have the color I wanted, which lead me this dealership to deal with sneaky people. To be honest I dont think our sales person Jay knew enough about selling cars to understand the numbers but clearly our finance guy Tre did and said nothing probably knowing we would walk straight out. Anyways I was left feeling swindled, stupid I didn't catch it earlier, full of anxiety which I still have each time I look at my car and generally with a bad state in my mouth. I just wanted to get the F out of that place vs feeling happy and excited about my new car. Im still having anxiety days later when I think about it. On Friday...I can't believe they got all this done in one day--brake job, including rotors turned; tires replaced, including four-wheel alignment; all fluids changed--oil, transmission, coolant, brake fluid; shocks replaced--front and rear; unclogged a drain line from my sunroof; a brake sensor replaced that was an impending safety issue; and a road test to make sure everything worked properly. A major tip of the hat to Scott Smith in the service department for making all this happen. You can tell just by talking to Scott that he knows taking care of our vehicle is also taking care of our family. Scott and his team are the reason we keep coming back to Davenport. He is the reason my oldest daughter just bought a Honda as her first adult car. The Bristow-Smith family is grateful.
