He does more than just cars. He was able to get the job done and now I have no more boost leaks. overall I was satisfied with the work I got done on my car. The shop was clean when I went in. Always an important observation. I think the only con is his place is a little hard to get to. If you know where Laguna muffler service is, its across the alley from them. Laguna muffler service recommended me to him because they do not weld "aluminum". I was very satisfied with both of their customer service. Remember not to use J&B weld on your metal. Make sure to clean your metal before bringing it to him or the job that needs to be done at your house. You can always ask him to clean it for you. Always ask for an estimate. I found John's company on yelp, and called him at 4pm. He told me to bring the chandelier into his shop. I honestly thought I was just dropping it off, but he went right to work. He was done with his workday, but actually restarted for me. He was able to make some beautiful welds to repair the fixture. Honestly, one of the nicest people I've ever met! He was so caring about our predicament and was so willing to help. I had a very frustrating project on my camper van. I was trying to attach some brackets to the rear…read moredoor for a ladder. But one of the hinge bolts was stripped. I tried everything I could think of but nothing worked. A suggestion from the internet was to weld a nut on top of the stripped bolt to remove it So I contacted Steve and explained my situation. I took my van to his place and he evaluated the problem. Steve came up with a better plan, thinking out of the box. He used welding blankets to cover my upholstery to fully protect my van during welding. And in a matter of minutes he removed the faulty part! Now I can complete the project and mount the ladder. Throughout Steve communicated with me. His price was very reasonable considering the time I spent, and tools I bought which didn't accomplish anything.
