Paid it and decided to take my kids and grandson out the next day. Filled the 37 gal fuel tank and launched the boat. Had a real difficult time starting it. It would start and run maybe 30 seconds. I used my trolling motor to get out past the wake zone. tried starting it again, same thing wouldn't stay running. ?At this point I noticed it was starting to get hot. I stop trying then and decided to put it back on the trailer. Well somewhere along the way I lost the plug and the boat was taking on water. Alot faster than my bilge pump could pump out. I had to flag down a boat and get towed back to the dock! Ruined a good day. Got it home and called G and G and brought it back to the the following day. They called the following day to pick up the boat. Upon arrival the lady told me that it got too hot and melted some wires. Said I sucked up something and it plugged the water pump. Said they wouldn't do anything else without charging me. Recommended that I buy a used motor and replace it. I brought it home again and decided to check it out. That is when I found the broken Stern light in the battery compartment. They replaced it with a cheap light with a plastic base instead of a LED light like I had. The impact point on my gas tank is about 12 in. from my stern light. The gas tank had several cracks in it which allowed water to mix with the gas. By the time we got back to the dock that was all you could smell (Gas). The deputy sheriff came over and just said be careful and no smoking as it was draining. I pulled the tank out to check to see if it could be fixed. A lot of the wires were melted. I started to pull the spark plugs to check if fouled out and didn't need a socket, they were removed by hand! I would never take my boat back there nor would I recommend them to anybody.

I purchased a boat from him based on his clear statements that the boat was in good condition and included a 1-year warranty. Those statements turned out to be completely unreliable. In less than 6 months, the motor failed. I contacted him immediately and gave him more than enough time -- over 2 months -- to honor his warranty and fix the issue. Instead, I received nothing but repeated delays and empty promises: * "Next week" * "I'll come check it" * "I'll take care of it" None of it ever happened. At this point, it is hard to see this as anything other than a consistent pattern of avoiding responsibility. Once the sale is completed, follow-through appears to be nonexistent. Because of this, I have been forced to pursue legal action to recover my damages. Serious Warning to Buyers If you are considering doing business here: * Do not rely on verbal warranties * Do not assume issues will be handled after purchase * Be prepared for delays and lack of accountability Final Thoughts A seller's credibility is proven after the sale, not during it. Unfortunately, my experience showed a complete lack of responsibility when it mattered most. I strongly recommend doing thorough due diligence and considering other options before making a purchase.

If you cruise Lake 1 at The Islands in Gilbert, you'll find that a huge percentage of the boats here are Boatman Boats. The boat had the same problem immediately. When I called back, they told me they "don't really work on older boats." That's interesting, because they sure did when they charged me. This X30 boat is far from new, but it runs very well, starting up perfectly every time. We used it to ski, surf (it has 2 ballasts), wakeboard, and also on a few longer runs to the marina and Rainbow Bridge. Tons of power, booming stereo, room for a few families at once, and a very large 60 gallon tank. Travis was very accommodating with our mid-week pick up and drop-off schedule, handled hitching up the trailer, and provided plenty of extras (ropes, boards, skis, 14 life jackets). I visited his shop and saw all of the other things he rents out - this guy knows his power toys. I will definitely rent from this company again.

Flooded again, twice within 10 days. Finally got someone to come see if they could find where water was coming from; the hole around where the fridge part on top of roof of trailer was cut too big!!! Can you believe it? Instead of fixing, they "rigged" it. Can you imagine how much water must have gone down inside walls! I was told the reason my floor is not worse, is because I caught it before the water had time to absorb in floors, was all absorbed in the walls! I'm sure Mr Warren Murphy, in Forest River Corporate, will have another excuse to blame this on my choices and not admit this particular trailer is not worth the set of tires Forest River put on because of a blowout while in their possession. Do not trust Forest River products. I've been fighting almost 3 years on this lemon!! Just to be honest Forest River has said they will return my funds I've put in trailer but the funds I've lost because of this trailer are my own fault, per Warren Murphy. I believe my only bad choice was choosing #Forest River Rv products and #Rowley White Rv Llc. I'm now almost out of my funds and have nothing but a very expensive lemon! I'll be sending out my 5th Attorney General letter this week along with updating all other complaints I've listed.
