We were in town doing training with the Cocoa Beach Police department for a couple of days and dined out for lunch and dinner every day. While all of the local restaurants we visited were amazing what made Salty Sisters stand out among the rest was the fantastic service, Chanel and Jenny were incredible, they truly went out of their way to make us feel welcome. From their perfect menu recommendations to their attention to our meal it was a wonderful experience. And happy to report Salty Sisters had, hands down, the best french fries of any establishment we visited. We will definitely be back for the incredible service and yummy food. Really want to like this place more, but it continues to be a (somewhat) hit & (mostly) miss option each visit. Keep in mind, the bar is pretty low for a beachside sports bar like this. They have a good rotation of local bands, outdoor seating, friendly staff, cold beers but very average food. The outdoor area is large, but feels neglected. The beer selection is ok, but there is a large amount of the selection dedicated to what my friend called "redneck rodeo beers" (PBR, Busch Light, etc. - just missing some Natty Lights). I'd say that a good third of our orders over our combined visits have been a little off (missing items, wrong wing seasoning, overcooked, overseasoned, etc.), but the waitresses have been very good in fixing what you bring to their attention. Giving it the benefit of the doubt with the 3rd star (the waitresses saved the day!) and hoping our next visit is as amazing as I want it to be! read more

The location is not on the water, a local bar in a strip center with an outside patio. Nice place great service. The food is Commerical, prepackaged that is fried correctly. Doesn't seem anything is made fresh other than the smash burger which was great. Hand cut fries has a lot to be desired. It's typical bar food not worth anymore than 3 stars. read more

I snagged the BBQ Spicy Smash Burger and it had the perfect amount of char and enough spicy bite to give it a great flavor. The fries are fantastic! Great seasoning and a nice crisp. I wouldn't suggest ordering that again! (The waitress noticed it was burned and took it off of our bill). Food was ok. We had a few entrees with burned fries. The waitress assured us that that is what their fries look like. They tasted burned as well. She brought us a new order to share and they looked much better. Burgers were delicious (per the guys). My Mahi-Mahi sandwich was really delicious. The side order of broccoli salad made my day! We also tried the potato salad, which was pretty yummy too. Definitely a dive bar vibe and option near cocoa beach. They have a small parking lot that fills up rather quickly. We walked in and were told to pick a seat anywhere. We opted for a booth on the side of the bar. Service here was great and extremely friendly. However it seemed everything I wanted to order on the menu was out or not available. I wanted to order a piña colada and the machine was being deep cleaned so our server gave me a strawberry daiquiri instead. She was nice enough to remove it off our bill as it was so sweet it was not drinkable. Next we ordered the fried calamari appetizer and it was disappointing. The fried banana peppers came out in a giant clump. There were some small squid calamari which were good. The rings were definitely premade from a freezer bag and were extremely rubbery and stringy when you bite into them. Also when asking for cocktail sauce it was a premade little container which seemed weird for a seafood spot to not make their own sauce. I tried to order the Mahi Mahi for lunch and they were completely out due to lent our server advised. So I ordered the classic smash burger with fries instead. My boyfriend ordered the bbq smash burger. He said it was good and nothing special. However it came with chips and we were not expecting a bag of ruffles to just be on the plate with it. I was extremely glad I ordered fries with my smashburger. It was decent and nothing special in my opinion. The fries were unsalted so we had to add salt. We have gone to Salty Sisters at least a dozen times. They have specials during the week, which makes it nice for the food budget. The food is always good, but not great. The staff is a hit or miss, as some of the Young servers aren't very rude and do not come back to the table to ask if you need anything. The ambience is beachy, perfect for the bar and the clientele. We came here on a whim while we were in Cocoa Beach. I read that they had good smash burgers, so I wanted to test that theory. We had to use GPS to get there. They share a parking lot with the rest of the stores/bizs in the strip mall. I'm not sure what I was expecting when we arrived. We walked through an iron gate and were told we could choose any table. This location has a ton of outdoor seating. There are tons of picnic benches, tables and a stage outside, and they also have a jungle gym for kids to play on. Also the "floor" I think was either crushed up shells OR gravel...I couldn't really tell. There was a band playing and IMO it was way too loud. You just couldn't hear other people in your party talk. We all opted to order smash burgers. I will say they're prices are very reasonable. Our dinner came out quickly. Everyone liked their smashburgers. We felt a few drops, and then a few drops turned into a torrential down pour, so we ran to the covered portion. This section was def not made for crowds and when 30+ people show up in a tiny space, you can smell the cigarette smoke. We hung out there for about 20 minutes and when we saw the rain wasn't stopping we opted to grab our bill. BTW, due to being so close to the beach, the parking lot floods terribly. We were in Cocoa Beach with our daughter and her two children, ages 3 and 2. This place was perfect. From the street, it doesn't look like much, but the back of the place has a huge sandy area with picnic tables, play structures and playhouse for the kids, and a stage for live music. Our grandchildren were able to run around, and we were able to enjoy adult conversation. The waitstaff was friendly, helpful, and service was fast. They are known for their smash burgers, but everything was good. The kids meals had enormous portions. We enjoyed it so much that we went two nights in a row. read more

Whoever I come in from SR520 from O-Town I always stop at Jonathon's, a local bar in Cocoa Beach. I recently discovered this refreshing bar and grill within walking distance. What a pleasant surprise. It's deceivingly large considering it is in a tiny strip mall. It has very deep backyard with lots of open air tables. It definitely has a women's touch, well 2 I guess. Very very VERY unassuming place. It could be classified as a "hole-in-the-wall", but with the amount of space this place has I'd say no. The inside was very dive bar but the outside was huge with lots of seating, a stage and even a large kids jungle gym. Honestly incredibly cool place with cheap plays on touchtunes! We got the chicken sandwich with the handcut fries- Soooooo good! Service was good, but we had to get all of our own utensils and condiments, even though they supplied all the other guests at the bar themselves. We also didn't get an extra plate even though we told her we were sharing the meal. This all would have been remedied if someone had come by after our food was dropped but didn't. I've gone to salty sisters numerous times. If you want slow, unreliable, and inconsistent service then this is the place for you. If you want good food and a cool vibe, this is also the place for you. NOTE - although the food is good, the kitchen constantly messes up the order. It is actually quite incredible how bad the service is considering how cool the vibe and the food is. We sat at the bar with the two Amandas, and both were great. They had on a variety of sports, along with offering outdoor seating! We built our own Smash burgers with fries, and had the fried green beans(that cucumber wasabi sauce is , southwest eggrolls, and the Tuscan wings. Probably one of the best Smashburgers I've ever had, and the french fries are truly hand cut and made in house and they are absolutely incredible. We live in Orlando in Tampa - yeah my father-in-law said he would drive from Tampa just to get this hamburger again. More of a dive bar atmosphere with a beautiful outside. First time, we were a little confused about the door but it is clearly marked we just were being a little silly. We sat down and waited for eh about 5 minutes before we were greeted by Chantel. Guess what, it was her birthday!!! We ordered waters and a couple burgers and listened to some music while we waited. It turns out Tuesdays are $8 regular burger night and they have free bingo starting at 6pm. The burgers came out and they were cooked perfectly. Very large and everything seemed fresh. I knew I would be back after the first bite. One thing to keep an eye on is the sides when you order. The burgers come with chips but if you want anything else there is an add on fee. Not really everything I had hoped it would be. Everyone I know raves about this place but I had a less than awesome experience. The staff is nice, however the booth we sat at had barely any room between me and the seat and it was very hard to get in to the booth. I have never had this issue just to give you an idea of my size in case you needed it! I got the nachos and the chips were very overcooked. My friends fries were also overcooked (crunchy and no potato inside a lot of them). The spicy margaritas were delish. Prob won't be back unfortunately but I know lots of other people love this place so... do what you will! read more

Only had 1 night in Cocoa Beach and picked salty sisters over a few other places that also got good reviews. Really wanted to give this a five star review but our family of four just didn't get good value for our money. My wife and I split the chicken nachos but they never came out so we had that taken off the bill. Our Two teenage boys ordered burgers. One came with a bag of chips and the other upgraded french fries for + $3. My wife ordered some potstickers which were okay and I added two orders of wings and had them split into 2 flavors each. Didn't realize splitting them would be an up charge. So 4 orders of 5 wings is what we got instead of 2 orders of 10 wings. We were asked if we wanted carrots and celery and we said yes. Only celery came out and we got charged an extra $1 for each of the 4 sides of wings. All together we got two burgers, one with upgraded fries, side of potstickers, 20 bone in wings with waters and that ran us $100. When we first looked at the menu, the prices seemed very reasonable. Based on all the other restaurants in the area that have good reviews, we would not come back until after we tried all places first. read more
