The coaches gave me realistic modifications because using a barbell was new to me. It wasn't long into my workout that I realized only the coaches were paying attention to me. Everyone was busy working on their own thing. I've been coming for 3 years now. I love my 5:30pm class. I'm 48, but we have early twenties to folks in their 60's throwing around weight. Do I do rope climbs, headstand push-ups and all the gymnastics moves? No! But I am working at my own pace and still challenging myself. Coaches Brody, Paige, Glenn and Bob are knowledgeable. It's super clean too! I even got my husband to come and he loves it. I convinced my 55 year old sister to try and she loves it. She says it's very empowering. And 24 hours too!!! I then called to get a walk through and tour and loved what this business had to offer. Parking is vast since it's in a shopping center. They have military discount for their members. Like I stated before 24 hour access. Great customer service along with great and helpful staff. The cleanliness of the gym is great! Not to mention the bathrooms are equipped with showers and other accessories for its members. The gym has mostly everything needed, from weights, dumbbells, cable machines, bands, and other workout accessories. You definitely notice that Hixon cares for its customers and equipment. This is why I've chose this gym and why I keep coming back.
