Less than impressed with Spa Rosa. The communication with the spa was really disjointed. We were told several different things by different employees. On about the 5th call we booked our massages and they asked if we were celebrating - since we were celebrating a birthday they said "Great! We'll have a champagne toast for you after the massages." We came out of the massages, no champagne toast. The amenities are very limited. One coed swimming pool and jacuzzi. One steam room in the women's locker room (I'm sure the men have the same.). The resorts pool is adjacent to the spa so the music from the pool can be heard in the spa - the bass just bumping. The floors are stained. The massage was mediocre. The massage beds are nice. They move to the position required for your massage. There's a nice warm neck pillow. The massage "enhancements" are a rip off. The collagen mask is literally an out of the package sheet mask. Overall for $400 for a massage this was not worth it. Won't be back. read more

Okay day spa for $50. Price varies during day of the week. It comes with a robe, shoes, and locker. Inside the spa is the vanity, 2 showers, 2 bathrooms, and steam room. Outside is a spa pool, jacuzzi, tea room, and upstairs patio. There wasn't a lot of seating which could be a problem when it gets busy. Cabanas are first come first serve or available to book. Tea room snacks were decent. Pretzels and pretzel nuggets with peanut butter. Teas, ice tea(?), bottled water, and muffins. An okay day spa for the price. Glad I got to try it out. A plus was that since I went on a Monday, there was 5 people including myself that had day passes. Once they were gone I had the whole place to myself for about 3 hours. I had a really pleasant experience at Spa Rosa in the Tommy Bahama Miramonte resort. I was in the area for the weekend and bought a ResortPass that included a 50 minute massage - great deal for a relaxing desert day! Everyone that I encountered who worked at the resort was super nice and professional and I found the grounds to be peaceful. I especially liked the outdoor area right off the lobby that had fire pits and bocce ball. The main pool is just beyond the bocce ball and the spa is conveniently located just to the right of the pool. Upon entering the spa there's a nice area of items for sale and the check in desk, from there they give you a tour of the facility. While it is rather small, I think it's cozy and definitely has the Tommy Bahama feel to it. Locker rooms were pretty nice and included the eucalyptus steam room. They also give you a plushy robe and slippers. I got my massage at the beginning of the day and liked how the massage rooms were upstairs and the rooms were rather large. My masseuse, Jose did a great job and felt amazing afterwards. Since I had access to the spa-pool for the day I decided to take full advantage and kicked back in one of the private cabana areas. Being towards the end of summer, the weather was perfect and the spa was not too crowded. You also have easy access to a small pool and hot tub plus a terrace level which is perfect for lounging. They also have full service food and drink service, very convenient when I got hungry and ordered lunch in my cabana. Unfortunately it started to rain towards the end of the day so packed up and departed. As I mentioned I had a very good experience and it afforded many hours of tranquil me-time. read more

Yesterday was our planned ladies' day out. The spa did not meet my expectations based on past experiences. Our appointments were scheduled for 11 o'clock, and the spa had opened at 10. The trash receptacles were full, the bathrooms were unclean, and lacked toilet paper. The locker areas are very compact, and the entire salon feels confining. However, the Volcanic Stone Serenity Massage was a relaxing addition. This is not a spa one would typically associate with Indian Wells. read more

I love the salt bath pools, I love the steam room and everything was spotless. All the ameniites were very nice. The spa at the Tommy Bahama Miramonte hasn't benefited much from the remodel that other parts of the hotel have seen. Although I didn't check out the rooms, the lobby, restaurant, and pool area all have an updated, refreshed look. Unfortunately, Spa Rosa didn't get that makeover. Many areas inside the spa look dated, especially the lockers, and the bathroom and shower areas. Even the pools and hot tubs right outside the spa doors didn't exhibit a refreshed look. Had a fabulous experience at the well. I called to try to get a couples massage while we were in town but they were fully booked. I asked Sarah to place me on a wait list in case of cancellations and/or openings. I got a call the following day and the rest was history. The well is a cute and cozy spa on the beautiful miramonte property. We checked in for our massages and were brought to a warm room. The massages were perfect - we were very satisfied. Afterwards, we dipped in the hot tub. It started to get crowded so we asked if we could hang in the larger pool across the way. They said yes and even brought our food and drinks over to us. I spent a day at Spa Rosa using the Resort pass app. Check in was seemless. Megan gave me a tour of the small facility. It is a very small spa hence the price. There's a locker room with robes and slippers. There is a small indoor seating area but people are walking by. They offer tea but you have to ask for hot water. A nice lady noticed I was waiting for help and got me water. I wished they let hot water out. The teabags were great. Outside, was a small lap pool and several private hot tubs with waterfalls. There were seating outside but I wouldn't do it in the summer. I enjoyed the private cabana that you don't have to reserve. There was a dry sauna and it was fine. The shower was great. The soaps and shampoo amenities were nice. I'm glad they provided sunscreen since I forgot it. Overall, it was OK for the price but I probably won't be back. I did not have one of their services so I can't speak to that but just based on their spa, I will be going elsewhere. I do love Hyatt indian Wells spa! read more

I was so excited to try this spa out but sadly I will not be go back, such a disappointment. I tried to send my review back afterwards but they wouldn't accept my feedback... My massage was more of a rub and only did my back and legs for 5 minutes. Online it says $250 with gratuity included but my total ended up being $303 with out any extras and still less than 50 minutes. I just visited Tues thru Thur of this week and was really impressed with this resort. There are 2 other resorts I'll normally stay at in Indian Wells abut switched it up this time and tried something new. As mentioned by some many others the grounds are beautiful, feel like you're in another country. I loved that there was multiple pools, and stayed open til 11. There was some construction going on around the campus but it didn't bother us at all. We really liked the room too, and thought the bed was comfy. Wow!! Extremely impressed with this spa. The service was OUTSTANDING! Cristina helped us with our reservation and booked us an amazing couples massage. Everything was seamless. I wish I remember the names of our therapists - they were both fantastic. Perfect amount of pressure, and paid proper to attention to our problem areas. The facilities are small, but well maintained. They had all of the usual spa amenities. We loved our little casita. It was air conditioned, but felt like we are outside. We greatly appreciated the private pool/spa. The main pool was packed, so we took advantage of the privacy at the spa pool. This was the best part of our stay at Miramonte. Highly recommend!!! read more

It's official. I am a new person. I had the most AMAZING body scrub and massage with Betty. She is an incredibly skilled massage therapist and it had been years since I had a body scrub. The mandarin scrub smelled divine and the entire experience was so relaxing I fell asleep. The spa is small, but very nice. It wasn't overcrowded AT ALL. The grain bowl I had for lunch with toasted brown rice and grilled portobello mushroom was delicious. I am so happy I decided to pay a visit to the Well Spa! read more

Great services in uncomfortable environment...I took my friend here for her birthday, and we each had amazing massages and very good facials. It is unfortunate that the spa was ignored during the renovation. Issues immediately obvious are: deferred maintenance, awkwardly constructed private areas, and it just feels dirty. There is no place to sit inside and read a book or relax between services, but for 4 uncomfortable chairs the public waiting room. Although there are 3 cabanas, for 5 to 6 months in the desert it's almost impossible to sit outside. We sat in one of the private cabanas, but unfortunately, it was very dirty and the service was sub par. We moved to the public pool, which was much nicer, between services. One of the spa bathrooms was completely closed as it was broken and one of the showers did not look fit for use. Very disappointing as the services are so good but there's no way to relax or enjoy other amenities. The Caesar salad that was included with our two services was an inedible unfortunately and the server who delivered them was not knowledgeable, helpful, or friendly. The front desk was amazing at trying to help us and the services themselves were incredibly relaxing and very well done. If you want to run in for a massage or facial, it's great, but this is not a spa to relax and enjoy. read more

I feel mislead as I read on their website that they were rated #1 spa in the US. This couldn't be farther from the truth. My husband and I came here with a Groupon and there were some parts of our experience that were directly related to the Groupon discount but others were not. To start with, we were hoping for a relaxing environment that we could spend the day in. We were especially looking forward to the co ed relaxation room and the pool as it was very hot outside. The "relaxation room" was no different than a dentist office. Actually the dentist office is quieter. This room is really a transition between the front desk, the women's locker room, and outside. There were constantly people walking through and the decor was the most boring I have ever seen. The pool was tiny and dirty and there were only about 3 lounge chairs. Since 2 were being used up, my husband and I had to share a chair! As for the changing rooms, I have seen better at community centers. They were smalll and dingy and there were only 2 showers for women and one for men. The showers had curtains on them like a cheap motel. As for the treatments, I had a facial and a massage and my husband had a massage. The treatments themselves were good but most likely because we used the Groupon, my husband was put in the outdoor couple massage room by himself and I was in upstairs of the building even though we booked a couples massage?! Although it worked out well for me because that outdoor shed was a joke. It is located right next to the pool where you can hear every conversation. There was also loud buzzing. My poor husband was more stressed after the massage than before. I don't usually write reviews, especially bad ones but I felt mislead about how this is the #1 spa and don't want thar to happen to others. After many years of going to Miramonte I was extremely disappointed with the experience I had. Actually quite shocked. We have always gone to Miramonte to relax and enjoyed the facility although the spa is very small I never had the bad experience that I had this time. I understand Covid was an issue however, I have been to other spots since Covid that seemed just fine. -Front desk gal nice -Masseuse was great -Steam room shut down but not informed of this before making the reservation and also booking a cabana for the day at the spa. -The couple soak tub is no longer available on the balcony -There were no masters no air conditioners at the private cabana spa pool that we hoped to book for the day we were also not informed that there would be a basically a pool party going on in the spa we thought we were booking a cabana for a relaxing spa day. -The couples massage room smelled like construction chemical or paint like and when I asked to have some sort of aromatherapy put into the room during your massage because the smell was so strong it took the masseuse about 15/ minutes to find some thing But then he never out of those 15 minutes he was away onto the massage. after all was said and done we ended up paying almost full price for a 35 minute massage they did give a 30% discount chill one of the massages but not the couples massage nor did they offer anything for the room smell. -We ended up canceling our cabana because the tiny space was just filled with people not aesthetically pleasing The cabanas we're not worth spending that money just to cook inside of it. Came here with 3 other girls for our Bachelorette weekend spa experience. The entire process from booking to checking out was smooth. We arrived around 11am on the day of our 1pm massage booking and enjoyed the jacuzzi and eucalyptus steam room before our appointment. The staffs were friendly. They checked us in promptly and provided robes and flip flops for us to change into. The activities outside of the massage are limited. It was too cold for the swimming pool, and one of the jacuzzi was under maintenance. We ended up wandering to The Hideaway Pool which was more quiet and out of the way from hotel guests. We all opted for the February Special which was a 50 minute tailor made massage for $105 (regular $155). Once you are brought to the treatment room, you are asked to pick out a stone which has a word for you to set your meditation on. I thought this was a really cute touch, and the word I got was "Live". The Swedish massage was soothing, and you skin will feel really hydrated after all the oil rubbing. Included with the spa treatment are fruit infused iced water, hot tea, and fruits. There's also a menu for you to order food. The facility is well maintained, and I wouldn't mind coming back for another one of their specials. read more

The Well Spa is a nice place for a massage. It is inside the hotel and only takes up a small area. The small spa is nicely decorated to create a calm theme away from the hotel crowds. I had a Swedish massage here. It was nice and relaxing. Probably one of the better ones that I have had. After the massage, my group sat outside by the small pool and ordered lunch. This place is awesome! I came here with the boyfriend for a couple's massage. They took us to a cute little massage room outside that was separate from the rest of the building. Everything was heated so the whole time, I was nice and warm.. which is really important because I get cold easily. Later, we relaxed in the small jacuzzi outside. It was really cold outside so it felt so nice to soak in the jacuzzi with the little waterfalls along the walls. The best part of the experience was this: when I asked the receptionist whether we could come back for the other facilities later at night, she said yes but they closed at 7. I was a little disappointed since I knew after dinner, we wouldn't have time to come back and we barely used any of the facilities. Without us asking or even saying anything, she decided to give us another free day so that we could come back the next day for as long as we wanted. Not a great experience. I've been here a few times before over five years ago and it's in need of some updating. There were a lot of people talking all over the place. The treatments were excellent but the place could use more attention. There was water on the floor in the locker room and some trashy lying around. I agree with another reviewer the decor is extremely bland. Well it's just really really expensive. I'm having some sticker shock. I got some kind of special but it was still overwhelmingly expensive. The dressing rooms have zero privacy as well. The door to the waiting room opens right upon entering the dressing area. I thought having a $ 500.00 spending credit per. day for 3days would have gotten me more than the services I received but, It seems to be very short staff to fit the needs of the clients. Such a beautiful clean place!!!! The spa was great!! my only compliant is the customer service, room service, housekeeping, the spa, the restaurant, the pool bartenders were very kind and helpful EXCEPT for two people... this lady after I was checking out of the spa was a little sassy and rude to my mom, I didn't catch her name, I should've AND as i was at the pool ordering Aaron at the bar threw a menu at me!!!!! WHICH then really ticked me off but thankfully the other guy who was working with him saw how upset I got and started taking care of me! I did notice a lot of glares while I was there.. I don't want to think it's because I'm Hispanic but I did feel a little uncomfortable at some points in my stay. I even overheard a guest saying, "They're probably gangbangers, that's how they got here." There does lack diversity and my family did stick out a bit which is totally crazy because other than our brown hair/brown eyes we don't really look Hispanic. I've gone to nicer places and never in my life had felt this way. As mentioned, the hotel was beautiful, my room was clean, and the spa was just great, my massage was perfect. I called The Well Spa and was informed I could purchase 2 specials and request a couples setting. I am glad I did. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our appointment was for 1pm. We came 2 hours early to enjoy the facility. A $30 food credit came with the deal. The food was good. The massages were amazing. After we chilled int the salt water pool. Simply amazing!! I took my wife of 7 months here to celebrate where it all began. This is a very romantic getaway place where you are free of all of the troubles in life. We arrived an hour early to enjoy complementary wine while we waited for our 60 minute couples massage in this 8000 square ft of hidden luxury. .. The massage room is a private bungalow situated around the private salt water pools. Our massage started with scents of sandalwood and feathers that tingled your body and set the stage for an outerbody experience. The first 30 minutes consists of neck, chest, shouler and scalp massage. The second half consists of concentrated areas of the shoulder blades and lower back. Just like Judy W. said...it's a small but lovely spa experience!! The services are over-priced but then again...it IS a spa AT a resort so go figure. And by pricey, I mean...$85 for the CHEAPEST pedicure and it's not all that. The experience is kind of cool however..you rest on a bed akin to a massage table with a pad over your eyes and a heated pillow under your neck (all this after picking your music!)...your legs bend at the knee and your feet go into a tub of water. SO you basically fall asleep while they work on your peds!! VERY relaxing...VERY. The pedicure part itself was basically what I could get anywhere else however...so it's the "experience" you're paying for. Massages will run you upwards of $145 for an hour...$15 LESS during the week. Guess they like to charge more for us weekend guests lol... All spa services gain you entrance to the spa: small, intimate, 2 pools (one is 90 degrees for the Aqua Yoga class, the other is at 78 with a few waterfalls...great for dipping). Both pools are filled with salt water which is a great touch and so much better for both your hair and skin. There are also misters everywhere which cools down the air by about 15 degrees...just be careful...with all that water you're sure to burn easily...even WITH the SPF they offer upon entering the pool area. It's co-ed so be sure to bring a suit. The lady's spa area is nice...two locker areas, a few showers and a steam room. The products are nice and are apparently available upon checking out. You also have access to the spa from 8am til close on the days of your appointments so it's nice that you can come and go as you please. Spa Food is available and they will deliver it to you out by the pool or in the relaxation room...the food is similar to that around the regular resort pool however. Staff pretty nice and straight to point (I don't really care to make small talk on vacation). Pool nice, family pool much better than adult pool, which is this small pool. Restaurant was pretty, but I opted for the bar and the food was good. Can't say anything about the alcoholic drinks because I do not drink. Tea was bland, not sweetened. Now the room, pretty setting but there was mysterious strange brown lines (like old dried up drippings) on the wall, that kinda ruins the moment and can't help but think the room is filthy after that. However I did like the gym, mainly because no one else was using it. Also,the hammocks on the property was a an added bonus, relaxing. Note: We did not stay at this place we only went for a spa day. My wife and I chose the hot stone massage and arrived a couple hours early to use the spa facilities before the actual massage. The spa facilities were all clean and the private hot mineral waters were a big plus.
