But when you have a rude associate it makes it much harder to justify spending a little extra. So because of that instead we did what most are doing now and just bought our books online. It's sad cause these places are slowly dying off and unfortunately rude employees are definitely not helping the situation.

They have a very nice and easy to navigate layout of genres that range from Oldies, Pop/Pop Rock, Soft/Hard Rock, Soundtracks, New & Old School Hip Hop & Rap, Indie, the Local Scene, Soul, R&B, Country, Metal, Hardcore, and absolutely everything in between. However like everything the prices have changed drastically. Gone are the $1.25.... Everything is now $2.25 so take that information and do with it what you will. 2- it JUST opened so it looked extremely clean and well stocked. The real test will be how it looks in a few months. If the staff can keep it that way then props! However I did noticed a lot of shoppers letting their small children play with toys down the aisles and carelessly bumping into people without so much as an excuse me or sorry. 3- The store was PACKED with people, the line was around the corner, and they had a self checkout section as well as a cashier. Once again it JUST opened. So it's to be expected. As far as Daiso's go... this one was in line with most of the others I have been to. Lots of easy parking and tons of goodies to browse. I had never been into a Five Below and had no idea what they sold. I was picking up fancy refrigerated dog food next door at PetSmart and thought I'd wander in and see what they sold. Was it refrigerated items? The name Five Below made me wonder. As I popped in, a very friendly guy said hello and welcomed me, but not in an insincere way. (I'm always a bit sus about that) I started to realize this was an upgraded 99 Cent store with a $5 limit, and was curious to explore. I really responded well to the nice lighting, cool oversized signage and clean feel of the store. I saw items that are at better prices than other stores, but I wondered how people knew what to purchase here. I think you must just go in and endeavor to buy stuff you would normally buy elsewhere for more. Although I left without a purchase, I will go back when I want to stock up on items we regularly use. Also, the guy that works there literally had his teeth sparkle when he said thank you for visiting us - I'm easily swayed by genuine appreciation.
