I have been to Coaches Burger Bar Poland ( Center Rd) twice. Both times I have been less than impressed. The first time my girlfriend and I were seated in the patio area promptly but after 15-20 minutes sitting there without one person saying a word to us we left. The second time my girlfriend, daughter and I were seated promptly. Drinks were served to us very quickly and food for my girlfriend and I came out quickly but my daughters food took an extra 10-15 minutes. I waited for my daughters food to contact out before I started eating, by that time my food was cold. I gave them two chances. I will not be going back. read more

Have been here before and always liked the food and service. Tonight however there was no hostess at the door for an extended period so we seated ourselves. Once seated it was difficult to get any service. We waited an extended period for our food in fact we're still waiting. We're going to see if this is a one time event or a trend. No comment on the food as it has not arrived after at least 35 minutes (after ordering) Food finally came and burgers were very dry. We complained and they "comped" the burgers. I will be back for two reasons First. They were very apologetic and "comped" the unsatisfactory food - they did the right thing. Screw up my order once, I call and give you a chance to do better next time. Screw up my order twice, I call for a refund because I'm done trying. When I try to eat the screwed up order because it's late and I'm hungry and then get cut by a shard of glass that was somehow on my burger bun, then I blast your establishment on Yelp. The kitchen staff evidently can't read or understand English, or maybe they're playing a game to see how bad they can be before they get fired. OMG... All of you who read this need to rush to Coaches and try their greens. The are fantastic. We learned of this restaurant from a quaint little charity cook off they attended and were so impressed we decided to try the place out. The place is fun, upbeat, clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. I absolutely loved my food. Who puts kielbasa on top of a hamburger? Coaches does and it was delicious. The burger was piled high and cooked perfectly, that teamed with the fresh cut fries was perfect. And did I mention the greens? Hands down the best I've ever tasted. I will without a doubt return to Coaches Burger Bar. I dont impress easily and I definitely was. I also enjoyed seeing the owner out is the dining room making sure all were satisfied. I went in on Wednesday night with a few friends and thought it was good. The service was what made it from the host to the servers. They were amazing! Now when I took my wife back Saturday the who I believe was the owner was yelling at one of the girls that work there. Right in front of the customers!!! Really? My wife and I left there never to return. I don't know what the girl did but it is very unprofessional to do that in front of guests. I hope the girl quits and someone teaches this guy a lesson. read more

Went yesterday for lunch with my daughter and our food came and The coleslaw on her Pittsburger was soggy smelled rotten and tasted very rancid. Like spoiled milk and vodka combined. I told the waitress it was off and she explained to me that no it was because it had a vinegar base. I absolutely love vinegar but this tasted absolutely nothing like it and was very clearly off. I could tell that the waitress didn't believe me but she got made my daughter another burger so I ate my salad while we waited for her food. No manager stepped in or anything. I paid the bill and tipped her thinking well, she's young and doesn't yet know how to properly handle a situation. Her new burger was good and so was my salad but I started feeling really sick a few hours later. Personally I would've gotten a manager involved with rotten food but they didn't do that. Went in around 1 for lunch last Saturday with my husband and a friend of ours. We got our drinks pretty quickly, but had to wait 10+ minutes for a refill and it took over 30 minutes to get our food, we each got a burger with fries. The food was great. The serving size was much smaller than their pictures made them look. I have had better burgers at McDonalds than what they tried to serve me. The fries were burned and hard as a rock. Was told to come to Coaches from a friend and will be happy to go back again. Friendly faces from the time we came through the door until we left. Very attentive! Nice menu (wish there was non-fried side options other than coleslaw). The whole family left feeling full and happy. The greens are great, we tried both the burger and chicken sandwich, yum. Our daughter who is a pulled pork aficionado loved her sandwich. The other daughter opted for the grilled chicken salad which she said was great. Nice atmosphere as well, very laid back. Im pretty easy to please when it comes to food. I have had some great burgers and some average burgers but this place has the worst burgers ive ever had from a restaurant. I ordered the Clevelander burger. Tasted and looked like the pre-shaped frozen patties, not fresh ground beef. It was smothered in BbQ sauce which all i could taste on the sandwich. Basically, it tasted like processed manufactured canned food. Nothing original or gourmet about it. Also tried the wings and they werent all that great either. They were hot wings and they were burn your mouth hot but didnt gave the classic buffalo hot flavor we are all familiar with. I definitely wouldnt reccomend this place to anyone looking for a good burger. $12 burgers worth about 3$ like a frozen gas station burger. The waitress was nice and friendly though read more

Went to Coached Burgers last night. Ordered a veggie burger. Haven't eaten meat in years. Came out a beef burger. I asked the waitress when she handed it to me if it was indeed a veggie burger she said absolutely. After my first bite I realized it was a beef burger. Both the manager and the owner informed me that it was no big deal because they cook them all together anyway! This in my opinion is unacceptable. Don't advertise a veggie burger if you don't have one! I wonder what #ChefRamsay would say about this restaurant! read more

This is ageist I am a13 year diy and there was a full bar and a whole place were you can make a table of 6 ( 2 adults 4 children) and there was a person that said he was a waiter but he was still wearing his coat on even in uniform when he said "well we can squeeze you on a four table but he had so much room he could but two together and when I walked in people at the bar shake there head no and said "little people" all they did not want were kid they do not give enough money they want adults to choose the adults menu to get more expensive there would only be 2 kids menu horrible for families and horrible for anyone else whoever goes there read more

Went to this place because of all the good things we've heard about it. My boyfriend and I built our own burgers and both were very good. There are lots of yummy options to choose from. We also split a peanut butter shake that was very tasty as well. The wait time was reasonable and most of the staff seemed very friendly. I would give this place a five if it weren't for our waitress. We were the only table in the place, but we never saw our waitress expect to take our order & give us the check. For our drink refills and to order our milkshake we kept having to go to the bar to ask the nice lady working on her computer (manager, maybe). Other than that, everything was wonderful. I am not one to leave bad reviews as I worked in food service for years so I know things happen. This was our first and def last time visiting here. We went in for the advertised Rueben sandwiches on St. Patrick's Day. Got there a little after noon. Waitress took our order fairly quickly. She was not the issue. It was not crazy busy, but pretty steady after we sat down. We watched many around us receive their food, plenty who came after we did. At 1:30 we were told they were out of Ruebens (which we had ordered an hour before)! What the heck, they didn't know that sooner!! In the meantime, we wasted an hour and a half waiting for food that apparently wasn't coming. We left...went to Kravitz's Deli, which was insanely busy, were sat immediately...had drinks, appetizers and our meals within a half hour. What is going on Coaches? How do you run out of the special when the day is just beginning and who do you have to know to get served before others that are sitting there waiting. Very disappointing experience. Came here for first time through word of mouth reference. Will not return, burgers were over cooked. There were about 1 servers to 2 patron ratio yet service was extremely slow. But that's probably due in part to the bartender running her mouth to people sitting at the bar and I never knew it took 5 minutes to pour a beer. Must me some crazy new tap system. Owner was far more in tuned with watching his keno numbers then the terrible service. Maybe he should be back in the kitchen watching the medium burgers coming out well done. Very unprofessional to be playing lottery games while working. Most places it's against the law. I watched him put more money in the keno machine then ask a table how their meal went, which by the way was zero. Horrible management. I give this place negative 77 stars. Because it took about 77 minutes for 1 beer and 1 burger to arrive at my table. Bring back the wine bar and small plates. I give this place 3 months tops. read more

Delighted by CBB! The band was a real treat; good volume and we could converse easily. The music really added to the ambience of the experience. Our server was a tall charismatic blonde man with long arms. He could reach everything on the table and was probably a basketball player. There are probably too many sports featured. I can picture a Lamaze coach or other mentor with the name. However, it was incredibly clean. All of the tables and floors and glassware were immaculate. I would suggest hummus with all of the pitas and maybe more selections of IPAs. The guests really added to the ambience of the experience. We were supported by two staff members, both male and female, and both were well groomed and presentable. Our server had excellent articulation and jaw flexibility. We were comfortable to have a lewd table chat as the booths were isolated to consolidate our conversation. Our compliments to the chef as the veggie wraps tasted like a high-end KFC wrap. Our chef also generously swapped out a peppercorn aioli for a chipotle aioli. Absolutely delicious! Yumo! The fresh sweet potato fries were worth the extra dollar. We really feel that the ambience would be enhanced by the servers wearing visors. Overall, our party would not only return to Coaches Burger Bar, but frequent it. read more

First off I am a foodie and eat everywhere I can. We went to coaches as a result of all the local rave we have heard. I think the food is quality but pretty average overall. I got the Texan and the wife got the Peppercorn burgers. For a burger I would give it a 8/10. I think Boggies and even Pourhouse have burgers of equal to better quality and bigger serving size. The bun was medium size and the patty did not fill to the edges. Slightly disappointed in the serving size considering the higher price, particularly because it is a sports bar. I went home hungry and ate some chips. The floors are dangerously slippery but the service was outstanding. Kuddos for giving a good alternative to the crap BW3 and some other local holes serve but they need to increase the serving size. Even the french fry serving was average. Potatoes are cheap... load them up! Would have gave it a 5 star if the serving size matched the higher price. read more

After waiting 20 minutes for our burgers which would have been really great had she served us the ones we ordered! A local place for my girlfriend and myself that we love to go to. It's a great place to just sit at the bar and have a couple beers and order a great burger with a half or whole dozen wings. Love Coaches so we decided to try their new location in Boardman today for lunch. We ordered two cheeseburgers, one small fry and one shake. Only one customer in front of us around 11:40 am. The young girl who took our order was not especially friendly. We let that go. Our shake came out about 10 minutes before the burgers. Then they brought out our two cheeseburgers. We waited 5 minutes and then asked about our small fry. The young girl told us they had a huge takeout order before us and they had to use all their fries for those orders so he was making our fries right then. 15 minutes later we got our fries. Now the burger is cold and at this point we could care less about the fries. I understand it can get busy. The correct thing would have been to tell us they had a huge takeout order and would we mind waiting so our burgers and fry came out at the same time. That is good customer service. Don't bring our burgers and 15 minutes later show up with the fries. How long does it take to eat a burger? Do we let it sit and get cold while we wait for the fries? We did not order fries for dessert. The least she could have done was refund the price of our fries The young lady really didn't care and we won't be going back to the Boardman location again. This is what happens when there isn't good management on the premises. read more
