Cheeseburger Fresh Cut Regular French Fries
    Julie B.

Met a coworker for lunch here and was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely more of a bar than restaurant setting, but still very welcoming. It has that hometown bar feel. The bartender was friendly and took care of both our drink and food orders. It seemed like he was taking care of the entire place himself, but handled it very well even when it got busier. I ordered the cheeseburger with fresh cut fries and ranch. Everything was really good! We ended up staying there for over 2 hours and didn't feel rushed or anything. This place makes you feel right at home! Highly recommend.

I don't mind when servers put in an order from memory, but it always makes me fearful that the order will come out wrong. Ordered the banksville reuben burger but got a standard cheeseburger which was a let down. I could go anywhere for the burger but came to see what the specialty burger was all about. Didn't have enough time to ask for a re-fire. Nothing about it was memorable compared to any other American/bar food around the city. The wings were juicy ok today. Positive is your choice of fries. Had a better experience last time

Ordered via Doordash a few nights ago. I ordered the cheeseburger with garlic Parmesan fries & a garden salad with ranch dressing. Food took a bit longer to prepare than was quoted, and my Doordash driver was stuck waiting for it. It arrived packed very well, with a cutlery packet, as well as lots of ketchup packets for the fries. Everything looked so yummy. Unfortunately, I was super disappointed to find that the burger was not seasoned at all, it literally had no flavor. No salt, no seasoning. I never even notice these type of things usually, which tells you how bland it was! Same thing with the fries! Although I could visually see Parmesan cheese on them, I just tasted potatoes. There was no salt or garlic taste at all. I was shocked because everything looked exactly how it should, there was just zero flavor! The garden salad and ranch dressing were fresh and delicious! I don't think I'll order takeout from Coach's again. I'll save it for dine-in, if I'm trying to stay very local, or need a late night bite.

    Old bay wings

A group of eight of my friends came here recently for a late dinner. The typical bar food here is decent, and there are other options, too. I didn't even know they served brunch. I ordered old bay wings and garlic parm fries. Both were okay-- the wings could have used more seasoning, they were on the dry side, so the seasoning didn't really seem to stick. For 2 soft drinks, 2 dozen wings and 2 side orders of fries, the bill for my boyfriend and I was around $44 before tip. The restaurant didn't seem well staffed for a Friday night, considering our waitress seemed to be handling most of the tables.

Your typical bar food and atmosphere. Plenty of tvs, so it's a good place to watch a game. They also have great deals on Labatt during the Penguins game. I ordered the loaded fries and was kind of disappointed. The fries were overdone and completely smothered in nacho cheese. The dish was so cheesy that I couldn't taste the bacon or even the jalapeno that were mixed in, also the fries got soggy very quickly. As a positive, the dish was quite large so it's great for sharing and is reasonably priced. Our waitress was nice and didn't pressure us to leave or order more the entire time we were there watching the Pens game. She checked on us every so often to make sure we didn't need anything and then left us to enjoy our time.

    Wings and fish sandwich

Pleasently surprised! There were 4 of us who went on a Saturday afternoon. We all ordered wings and sandwiches. I had the fish and it was massive! I took more than half home. The fries were hand cut and crisp. They have a great special for wings, which were also tastey. The wait was longer than average and noisy at times but not a big deal for us. We will be coming back often

It's a proper neighborhood butcher shop on Butler Street, the kind of place that had mostly disappeared around here. They do whole animal butchery with meat sourced from local Pennsylvania farms, and you can feel how much the folks working there care about what they're doing. It's not a huge space, just a display case full of cuts, a wall of house made goods, and a small sandwich menu, but that's part of the charm. The staff were friendly and happy to point me in the right direction. The sandwiches are what really got me though. The smash burger is fantastic, a double patty on a challah bun with that special sauce, and you can actually taste the quality of the beef, which makes sense given the whole operation is built around good meat. I also grabbed some of their house made pastrami, and it did not disappoint, tender and full of flavor. Knowing everything is made in house, right down to the bacon and sausages, makes it even better. If you live nearby and don't have a butcher yet, this is the one.

Love the decor in the shop. There were many prepared food options in the fridge, as well as various cuts of meat/preparations of it. We got two sandwiches, the cheesesteak and the marbella. I dont think we ended up with the correct order because we didn't end up with a cheesesteak, but did not realize until we got home. I'm positive that if I went back to the shop they would've remedied the situation, but I didn't feel it was necessary! The sandwich we did end up with was good as well, unsure which one it was though. Very fair prices, and our dog was so happy we brought him home a bone as well! Looking forward to coming back and trying everything they have to offer.

I was actually quite impressed with how well it was prepared. Nice and flaky but didn't fall apart. The bun it comes on is well proportion with the fish. The only thing I could've went without, was the macaroni salad topped on the fish. However, the food here never disappoints. I'll be back.

I ordered the Moonlit Smashburger and the hubby ordered a chicken sandwich; we also ordered fries and a drink to share. The cup for the drink was super duper tiny though, and we weren't sure about refills so we just took shallow sips. Next time we'll make sure to get two drinks. The smashburger was so good!!
