We ordered takeout and was not notified that there would be a charge of either $1.25 or $1.35. One amount was noted on the receipt and the other amount was charged on the credit card. The order was to have included a bowl of lobster bisque, which was not in the order. I had to drive back to get the bisque so by the time I got home again the hamburger was cold. The sweet potato fries or not fully cooked so I had to cook them in the air fryer. I ordered the burger with ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise, and the only thing that I was given was the mayonnaise - there was no ketchup and mustard. The staff did apologize for not including the bisque. We will most likely not be returning - it was our "Last Call." read more

There are not a lot of places to grab lunch along the main drag of Canonsburg. A friend and I were starved, so we chose the Last Call. There is a bar room and a separate dining room, and we selected the latter. There was a table of eight women and another booth with a couple and a kid when we arrived. Food was ample - she had a Rachel and fries. The Rachel was messy so she barely ate half, but a less fussy person may have finished, I guess. I had a shaved steak quesadilla. It was O.K. Neither item was cheap. Food was served in plastic baskets. When we asked for ketchup, the server grabbed a greasy plastic bottle from the next booth and said there was a little left there. The other tables remained unbussed while we were there. There were two when we arrived. By the time we left, a table for eight and a third booth still had baskets of half eaten food etc. My thoughts: keep driving. read more

Fish Friday in Canonsburg has so, so many options! This week we tried LCB, I ordered battered fish sandwich and received breaded.... what a disappointment. Waitress said, "oops, sorry". The Breaded fish was thin, hard, dark crust and dry. (I'm thinking frozen) A friend received her battered fish sandwich, I tried it and it was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Another place for great food! Right on West Pike St in Meadowlands, Pa. A nice clean bar, with a side sit down closed in dining room with a tv for viewing. We had the hot pepper cheese balls for an app, nice and hot on arrival, crunchy breaded coating, yummy hot pepper cheese inside, Ranch dressing for dipping. The Ultimate Smokehouse sub with Salami, Grilled tender steak, grilled onions, peppers, pepper rings, provolone cheese, on a fresh homemade roll, soooooooo good. I use Ranch dressing on my sub, it was really good!!! The BBQ chicken wrap with grilled chicken, cheese, onions, BBQ sauce, was really good also, a nice crunchy, grilled wrap. A side of crunchy, breaded onion rings rounded out a great meal. Another great place to put on my favorites list. read more

The service is generally really slow as others have pointed out. If you order takeout, they screw it up about 50% of the time. They also refuse to comply with public health measures during a pandemic. Indoor dining is supposed to be shutdown for three weeks and was only supposed to be at 50% before that, but this place is routinely packed, with neither staff nor customers wearing masks. It's very disappointing to see a local business aid in the spread of COVID-19 and show little concern for the community surrounding them. I won't be going back in the future. read more

Our bartender was very knowledgeable of beer selections, and took our 4 person order without writing it down. She was able to remember our order precisely and remember who ordered which plate. Being a frequent patron of this establishment it pains me to leave such an unfavorable review. On 3/5/24 I was tired from a long day and wanted to stop and get a beer and a bite to eat. I bellied up to the bar and literally waited 10 minutes before I even saw a bar tender. At that time the person sitting next to me had been waiting longer than me and got up an left. Finally I was approached and I ordered a beer. I was asked if I needed a menu to which I answered yes. I then requested if the penguin game could be put in the tv. She proceeded to attempt to do so but to no avail. After another 10 minutes I again requested a menu which I got. another 10 minutes went by, no service, no Oder taken, no bar tender. I the got up left a modest tip which I shouldn't have done and exited the bar. Upon opening the door to the parking lot there stood the bar tender smoking BBC a cigarette and talking to another patron. She looked at me and said nothing. I went to my car and left. The Last Call is a hidden treasure of Canonsburg. There is a decent sized parking lot in the back which makes things convenient since it is on Pike St. The bar is the main attraction and it is definitely a locals hang out; the dining room is typically dead during the week, so if you aren't interested in the bar you can ensure a quiet and decent meal. There is one girl that has served me overtime I have been there, whether it be in the dining room, the bar, or picking up takeout. She is always so kind and accommodating and does an excellent job here, I wish I knew her name! I have never had bad food here. The antipasto salad is to die for! All sandwiches are great. With my group, the Rachel, chicken parm, and pulled pork are always hits! Their pub fries are amazing as well. They offer great drink specials during the week as well. Everything here is delicious and reasonably priced. It is one of my favorite places to eat in the lower Pittsburgh area! read more

Came here because a friend said it was good and wanted a quick bite, walked in the front had to find my way to the seating area because there was no signs. Next I sat down and was greeted (the waiter seemed nice) ordered a water and the waiter took about fifteen minutes to bring just a water. Then I ordered the Rubin and that as well took way to long to come out. There was not a lot of guest and another table was awaiting there order just as long so I'm not sure if it was a cook issue or a server issue. The Rubin was decent the bread seemed as it sat out to long. The pub fries where crispy. Overall I don't think I'll be returning. read more

This is a very casual restaurant which adjoins a popular bar. Parking is convenient in a lot alongside the building. Our visit was spurred by many excellent reviews. Our party of three was disappointed with our meals. Our server was a well-intentioned, pleasant young lady. She apparently had only three parties to handle during most of our visit, but she did not ensure that we received the service that we should have. She did not bring the beer that I ordered and had to be asked for the macaroni and cheese side dish and the ranch dressing that my wife had requested. We were provided two placemats and two sets of silverware until we asked for a third. The best part of the meal was the delicious order of onion rings. Our pasta alfredo and reuben sandwich were poor. The sandwich had a small amount of corned beef and was dry. It was served with fries and was not worth $11.99. We took home almost all of the pasta, which had an odd taste. None of us is particularly interested in eating the pasta leftovers. My wife's hamburger was overcooked, but okay. The french fries were tasty and an ample order. The selection of items on the menu is spectacular: many, many pages, something for everyone. Perhaps the restaurant would do better to focus on preparing a smaller number of dishes well. We are unlikely to return. read more
