If I had to give negative review, I would. I don't write reviews but to help the public not waste time, stress, and money, NEVER EVER WORK with this company! Daniel is correct, they charge way too much for what they do... and when you want to change company, it is too late since the escrow has a 30day expiration. Issues I had with them: 1. Horrible communication. They are never clear on what is missing, what the issues are that is causing the delay, and what can be done to resolve the block. I asked for information, they said they will send in the evening, I waited and nothing until the next morning. This occurred many times with many documents and update request. We had to sign documents, multiple times, at 7-9pm in order to make deadlines. 2. Horrible time/schedule management. Waits until deadlines pass before communications. Communicates after hours when delivery services are closed or when people are having dinner. I received a call at 9:44pm, telling me it won't close if x, y, z, doesn't occur... Really? Calling me at that time for what? So I can't sleep well? I was forced to "work" 24/7 to accommodate their delays. 3. Does not take ownership on tasks (Blames Others for her delays). Claims they did not receive required documents but they were clearly sent to them via email. They were not pro-active in ensuring required documents were acquired in a timely manner. They blamed lender, agent, and buyer all the delays when it was clearly on the escrow's end. Every conversation I had, was 'they (lender, agent, or buyer) ' need to do this 'NOW' or else you will not close. We almost lost our house because of their delayed service. It came down to the last minute of the last day before where the bank and county records were waiting on the documents. Lender, Agent, and us worked day and night getting missing documents because escrow failed to complete them in a timely manner. God bless the lender and agent who worked just as hard as us to push the escrow company to do their job. Buyers and agents beware, do not use this escrow service! Ever! Ever! Coast Cities Escrow is TERRIBLE and EVIL! They really want to make your life miserable... stressing you out, aging you... inserting 'hate' into your hearts... DO NOT WORK WITH THEM! Even for less money, go somewhere else. read more

They claimed that all of my e mails were lost in their spam - yet they did not check their spam. They also claim that they did not receive my phone calls. I would avoid these guys like the plague. Miss phone call appointments, don't return calls. - They charge more than what has been agreed. - They charge even for fees that you have paid directly to third parties. - They are supposed to pay off the seller within hours of the county recordings. They don't, and may keep funds for days. - The Newport Branch Manager, JP, is rude, cuts the conversation all the time, has not even learned to apologize for wrong doing. How arrogant! UNORGANZED! This office appears to be very small. Julie Parker is Branch Manager, but when she is out of the office, the other girl in the office is clearly not in the loop. The entire transaction I had to 'babysit' each day, as a Realtor, it is the duty of the escrow company not the Realtor to supply amendments, etc. Julie relies on the Realtor to be her assistant to the transaction. Then, the closing package hasn't arrived a week after the actual close date...really?! Do your clients a favor and save the energy you will have to put into working with this office. read more
