Fast forward to about a month ago where I closed my laptop lid and CRACK - something happens where basically the bezel, back over, and hinge gets damaged to the point where it looks like I ripped it apart when I open my laptop back up. Tried to fix it and somehow made it worse by messing up the screen and man, I've done my fair share of taking computers apart before but I wasn't going to mess with my laptop after this series of unfortunate events. Cue Eric! I reached out to a couple of repair guys for a quote and Eric gave me the best one AND the hope that my laptop could be saved (I had a couple others tell me it wasn't worth the fix; mind you, my computer itself worked fine still - I just had to plug in an external monitor to get anything productive done). He was timely with messages, and even let me know that some parts were missing for repair and ordered it for me. His quote was reasonable in comparison to the cost of a brand new laptop and now that I've had it back for a couple weeks; I can honestly say it feels brand new. Appreciate his quickness and his expertise, would definitely come back for any silliness I encounter with computers down the road. Thanks, Eric!

First, I texted Derek Diviny the owner of Spark Joy Technology then Derek gave me his cell phone number and then i called him and we talked and we had a good conversation on my iPhone. I felt very comfortable speaking to Derek then I decided to make an appointment with him on Tuesday on July 12, 2022 at 9 a. m. I told Derek I am on a budget so he negotiated with me on a reasonable price. Derek told me he will only charge me the total amount of $50.00. This includes Derek ordered this SSD (Solid State Hard Drive) he ordered from Amazon.com for a $20.00 part. Amazon has the same day service to order this part and have this part shipped to him on the same day. This part has no warranty on it because this part is inexpensive. I have no issues with this part. Then Derek told me he will install this (SSD) Hard Drive into my desktop computer and he will also install the Full Version of Microsoft Office 2010 on my computer. Derek explained that he will only charge me $30.00 to install the (SSD) Hard Drive part and this MS Office 2010 Program for only $30.00. My total bill was $50.00. That's an awesome price that Derek charged me. Also on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11a.m. Derek dropped off his older spare Gateway Computer to my parents house, he told me I can work on this spare computer for 3 days before I had my appointment with him on Tuesday on July 12, 2022 at 9 a.m. I asked Derek what's the charge? Derek didn't charge me to use his spare computer. I was very appreciative and happy that Derek is a very thoughtful and professional person. My computer is working in excellent condition now. I use it everyday. I am very happy with Spark Joy Technology. I highly recommend it.
