I can tell this company could care less about reviews on the internet but I will write one just the same I ordered two pieces of glass for a couple doors for a job in Hollister and I was told they would have those done on Monday and that somebody should be calling me and let me know that they were done I didn't hear from them Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday I figured someone must have just forgot to call me so on my way back to the job Thursday morning I give Coast counties a call and they let me know that the glass would be done on Friday Which clearly means they either lost the order or forgot or whatever they told me that they didn't have any glass in stock and they had to order some and it wasn't coming in until the day I called when asking why nobody told me so I could have made other arrangements and called another company she said she didn't know why they never called I am finding this the normal way of doing business with a lot of companies in the area the lack of Good Help and overall the lack of customer service is appalling This business has just received the never again label read more

If I could give a lower score I would. This is by far the most unethical company I have ever worked with in my life. I am remitting in full because I am now going to take great pleasure in sharing my experience with your unethical company in as many social and professional forums as possible. All of the facts are on my side, and will certainly have any potential customer reconsider engaging your company for even the slightest of jobs. Fact: I was told by ##### that my project would be completed by Thanksgiving 2015 Fact: I was told all doors and windows would function the same as before the installation Fact: The job was not "completed" until late December 2016 or January 2017 (I need to revisit the exact dates) Fact: I received a lien notice from the equipment company that you rented the boom from because the invoice was not properly managed Fact: The boom sat in my yard for a week, was only used twice, and was not available for the majority of the work, which obviously added unnecessary expense and time to the project Fact: None of the 3 sliding doors are operable now, and your employee told me there was no way to fix that. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE Fact: One of the retro-fit windows was not sealed properly, which caused water damage to the sill and is now a cause of concern for mold, so I will be removing the entire window, inspecting/repairing any internal damage and refinishing. Fact: Your driver damaged my gutter which now needs replacement. I want the entire length replaced, not spliced, so it is restored to its original condition Fact: Three of the windows you installed have already failed, and confirmed in person by your glazier Fact: The original installers quit in the middle of my job, and months went by with no updates I grew up in a family business, and I find it unfathomable that this is the way you operate. Most people would have taken you to court by now, but that is not my style. Company said lifetime guarantee and they will find every loop to get out of replacing a manufacturer defect. Would not recommend to anyone.

I was happy because coast counties glasses did my work I'm very picky and their installers were very knowledgeable and detailed. my sliding glass door was done on time and they were very polite fair price but most of all of the workmanship was done with very good detail. The office personnel was very helpful and professional which means a lot these days. I would hope you give them a chance to do your work. This is the second time they've done something for me and with nothing but good results. read more

I've been buying the same pieces of glass for a china cabinet I frequently make for years. The long-term employees have always been helpful and the prices were good. These employees are gone and it looks like they're getting ready to fold. I bought some more of the same glass last week and the price doubled. I asked why and was told the price came "right out of the book." The guy just basically screwed me because he didn't know me or the business I've done there before. There's plenty of other glass suppliers around so avoid these guys. read more

I've had a few transactions with this company over the last couple of years, the first two went just fine, but the last one was lacking to say the least. We had just purchased a home that had a broken sliding glass door track, they came out and measured it (told me that they could work it to be under warranty, not an option as we are the third homeowners), came back with the wrong part. They measured it again, and came back with a different wrong part. This was over a 6 week period. I finally called the office and they said they just couldn't fix it and forgot to let me know. I contacted Milgard and needed to get an entire new door, but what got me was the comment from the Milgard tech who told me that there was no way this could have been repaired, and that the company should have told me that from the beginning. I ended up going with another company to get the new door and do the install. It's a shame they weren't up front to begin with. read more
